Very average experience - hotel needs improvements.
Clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Very strange cold and remarkably dull hotel. Functional just about due to bad layout but lacks any personality at all. Badly insulated so comfort is hard to achieve. Either extremely hot or very cold. Room number and floor levels do not correspond. Breakfast offering was notably poor.

Spent a few nights at the hotel. It's just off the motorway, so it is convenient to get to and commute to other places.
The bar was busy (due to a match earlier in the day), but the friendly bar staff took my order at the bar and then kindly helped me to find a table.
Food prices weren't cheap, but not bad compared to other mid range hotels that I've stayed in. The pizza was about £15 and had a lot of cheese on it, and a side of chips was around £3.50.
Breakfast was about £12, if paid in advance. The cooked breakfast was nice, though the other items (pastries/etc) disappeared quite quickly.
There appears to have been a youth event on at the hotel, because the lobby was packed with youngsters on my final morning.

Radison hotels need to up their game!
We like the location as we come for the football. The surrounding areas are great
One member of staff was very rude upon arrival. She didnt make us feel welcome at all. Before it was a radisson hotel the staff were brilliant and accommodation.much better. Breakfast was chaotic on the first morning as not enough staff to clear tables . Some food ran out no.mugs or glasses. Poor choice of fruit and yogurts

sorry to say but I felt room service person was a little off when I only tipped £3.20 and not £8.20. I don’t have lots of money and felt the eye roll was a little rude, I understand it wasn’t much to tip, but I don’t have lots to give. sorry

Exceptional
We love staying on the pitch view part I was hoping to get tickets to see pink but at moment think tickets are sold out I wanted to book the room to watch her
There were children running round at night knocking on everyone's door and walls as I caught a couple lads so I threatened to tell staff if they did it again

The Suite was very spacious and felt luxurious, My evening meal in the restaurant was superb, Breakfast was good,
My sofa bed was lumpy and prone to folding up. It gave me backache, Im informed that a refurbishment is to take place.

The staff were lovely, really comfy bed
The room was clean but there were opened sweets in 1 of the cupboards which had been left by the last occupant. The lighting wasn't very good for make up.

Weekend back in the north to see friends and family
The person who cleaned the room had also tidied up my things, I was very impressed. Staff were friendly
Vey surprised that breakfast not included, I have stayed here in the past including for our wedding and so did our guests in 2019. We didn’t have the wedding here but as the location was ideal this is here we had a lot of guests staying.

Very enjoyable weekend.
The pillow was the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel room! The bed was comfortable and large enough to sleep well. The room services were good, with tea and coffee provided.
A group of young people, staying in the hotel, were very noisy, banging on doors quite late in the evening. The staff did their best but the group leaders didn't seem to care about the problems their charges were causing.

Travelled from Australia on a tour. Staff here have been unbelievably friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. All the reception, bar staff, breakfast staff and cleaners have been amazing

Weekend away
We have stayed at this hotel many times because of the location. The rooms are nice with comfy beds and it was warm given the weather this particular weekend
We travelled 200 miles to be given a frosty reception from one particular receptionist who was not helpful at all - in fact she was quite rude asking "what are you here for" Breakfast the following morning was chaotic with no mugs glasses or mushrooms and the tables were not cleared quickly enough thus giving us little room to put anything. Clearly there was not enough staff. However there was a great improvement the following day although the food was luke warm

Room 344, a pitch facing room never warmed about 18 when the weather outside was 0-2. Avoid that room in cold weather. No heater under the desk like other rooms. Had rude football teams staying that were loud in the hallway and restaurant. Not smart enough to not block stairs and entry/exit ways.
