Lovely quiet room, very comfortable. Close to the train station too. However, there is no thermostat in the room, and you cant regulate the room temperature. Also, the room didn't have any complimentary water, so when I woke up in the night thirsty, I had to decide whether to call reception or go back to sleep. Overall, it was an okay stay, as I only spent one night.

Exceptional
The staff were super friendly and very helpful, the evening meal was amazing, the steak was the best I've tasted in a good while. Bed was super comfy
Only fault I had was the cooked breakfast from the warmers was luke warm, we ate at 8:30 and it was a disappointment after such a lovely dinner the previous night as that was the reason we booked on for a breakfast

My experience was so good all the staff was so amazing I would like to say a my lady Leanne who did actually my first ever massage was amazing but over all what a lovely day I've had,and will be telling my family&friends that I recommend it,thank you again xxxx

Unfortunately not brilliant due to the disturbance during the evening and night.
Good location and parking and the room was comfortable.
Not enough electrical sockets, I expected one by the bedside tables as well as the one by the tv. There were a lot of children staying who were mainly unsupervised and who were running around on the corridors, banging doors and shouting during the night making so much noise. Even after we contacted reception about it. Not a great night’s sleep. Breakfast…this was ok but very limited for people with Coeliac disease (gluten free) and thus overpriced at £12 pp. Suggestion: a cheaper option I.e Continental like some other hotels do.

Location is ok if you need to be on this side of Bolton or close to the motorway link.
very dated. room had 2 electric heaters because the radiator was not sufficient, perhaps change the long curtains to allow more heat into the room. breakfast was not worth it, some of it was cold. scrambled eggs watery. I paid a lot for a coffee, only sampled bits of the breakfast before deciding it wasn’t really edible.

bed way too soft gave my partner a bad back cleaning needesimproving loads of other peoples hairs in bathroom miold and
loved the location would return just for that
on a match day it’s swarmed with supporters and hotel guests are not a priority I’m a football fan so was a little annoying for my partner we couldn’t sit for any lunch and certainly no chance of a quiet drink

The staff make this place.
The staff at this place from youngest to older are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although the facilities are good, it was the experience of the staff that made me book in here again. You might think this is minor but the fact you provide replenished tea bags, sugar and real milk and a few biscuits each day is very much appreciated!
Minor point but all of the pillows (including the one in the cupboard of my room) are very firm. Please consider providing a mix of firm and soft. The bed itself is very comfortable.

We have stayed several times and has always been good, staff as usual were great. If as a hotel resident you want good access to the bar and food in the evening, avoid match days, as these areas get very busy.
