everything about this hotel was just perfect
it was our wedding night, not only did we have a pitch view room but we were also provided with gifts, cards and plenty of rose petals

Just arrived check in was simple got a great clean room by Brian on second floor nice size as well. My room comes with a sealy double bed quite comfy other rooms have two singles. Room has a large wardrobe with two draws, Room also comes with a 32”Samsung led tv. A hair dryer in draw a trouser press if needed. There is also a suitcase stand if required. You get Tea and coffee in a draw with some biscuits if you need more just ask reception they will give you as mush as you need. Kettle is spotless no lime scale inside. Bathroom it a reasonable size with sink and large mirror, bath has a screen at side for shower you also get shampoo and conditioner and small soap to use.
Dinner was at 7pm for us but as we was just using for one day they only had fish and chips and mushy peas, I don’t eat fish they they cooked me a breast of chicken with chips and mushy peas which was very good of them all the food was very good. Pudding was not much choice had a chocolate brownie which was a big size and added cream could only manage just over half it was very good can’t complain. Had to go back to room for another tea as not available down stairs in dining room.
Bed time was very please once got to sleep only problem was a false fire alarm at around 10.30pm disturb sleep only lasted a minute once back to sleep was very comfy sealy mattress comfort, room was great plenty of room to move and relax wish next hotel visiting was like this one but it’s not.

Room 706. Great size. Comfy beds. Dressing gowns and slippers. Lovely window size. Massive bathroom. Warm but not too hot.
No brochure in room with local activities. Very little tea and milk - oly one sachet each. No hot chocolate in room. Arrived late due to traffic fuel protests so couldnt enjoy it as had to check out straight after breakfast and attend the expo.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for a week for work and I didn’t find a single fault. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are great, the food in the restaurant is great and the location is just right. Highly recommended!!

We loved the staff and comfort.
Room was great. So comfortable. Good bed. Bath was lovely! Location was fabulous. Staff were very helpful and lovely.
No pool! We booked because there was supposed to be a jacuzzi and pool. But they were closed. This wasn't made clear at all. The breakfast was very expensive, too.

Luxury! - and for only £69 per night. Also, the whole set-up of the NWAS awards ceremony by the hotel was very, very good - including the canapés and 3-course meal (the hotel told me that there was a new chef: he did them proud).😻🍷👏☕️🍢🥗🍗🍮🥂🌈⭐️

Visited 09/06/2022 in the Premier Suite for work event. Free parking and easy venue to drive to.
Not well signposted from reception area, had to ask lady on reception where the suite was located.
The event space was fantastic, well organised and the Bolton stadium team were very friendly as were the staff looking after our tables.
The let down was the food choices, no halal option was provided after being requested prior to event, what did arrive although presentation looked good, the taste unfortunately didn’t match and for that reason alone the review lost ability to reach 5 stars. At one point my colleague who asked for pescatarian & vegetarian options was given a fish dish with a chorizo base, concern raised but damage had been done. The saving grace was the dessert which tasted nice.

Great place to stay on match days.
Its always a pleasure to stay at Whites. Check in around 3pm, a few drinks in the bar, a meal in the restaurant then make your way into the stadium for the match. A few drinks after the match and a pleasant nights sleep.... particularly if the Wanderers have won!
