I walked in to an ice cold air con blast and an equally warm welcome from the reception team, so friendly and a joy after the UKs hottest day and a 5hr drive. Room was spotless, bar spacious and food was to a good standard. Absolutely spot on for a business trip, tons of parking and close to everything, I highly recommend it. đź‘Ś

Stayed at the hotel a few years ago, well before Covid, hotel seems tired. Comfortable and clean though and friendly staff. Well located just off the motorway.

Great place to stay if you're in Bolton
We booked a pitch view room, as the concept intrigued me and we were not disappointed. Overlooking the goal post, we had a full view of the ground, there was no match on and I am not a football fan, we were there for a charity event, but even for the none footy people it's a great concept. The room its self was good, comfy bed with all the expected in room facilities. Bath / Shower / Hairdryer, etc. The hotel is lovely, great reception staff. We had a bite to eat in the bar and the food was lovely.

convenience - attending party at wanderers suite
not being able to access the wanderers suite internally - had 94 year old with us and was quite a walk. had wrongly assumed was all the same premises - or interlinked. also disappointed about breakfast restrictions. the online menus suggested individual items could be ordered so we could just have tea and toast but on entry was advised it was full buffet at ÂŁ12 only so went without. none of us have appetite to warrant that amount of spend.

Lovely hotel
As usual, I booked through Booking.com. I asked the reception for an invoice that I could give my business. They said that they would forward on the invoice when they had all the right info from booking.com. Of course, I haven't had it. I never get them, even when I ask. This is not an issue with Bolton Whites, it's an issue with a lot of hotels that use a booking site.
