As always I was checked-in within a few minutes of arriving at the hotel. Room clean and comfortable. I ordered a very sweet hot chocolate and some room service. No complaints with either, very good quality, arriving well presented and within a reasonable time. They charge £3 tray fee (room service) which I think is very reasonable.
Staff are their best asset, I've seen a few new faces recently learning the ropes, hope they get as good training as the others, the people really make the place.
Breakfast - plenty of choice for cooked, healthy, pastries, juices and an excellent coffee machine.

room was very clean and comfortable, quite late check out and we had the pool to ourselves, prices not too bad and food nice, all staff helpful and friendly except a female restaurant supervisor at bereakfast (?) who was very rude and interrupted a facetime (video call) to a family member (we were at the hotel to attend a sportsmans dinner for my Fathers 70th birthday and half way through we were shouted at and told to stop it !!!
breakfast was very good although spoilt by her.
I would stay again.but could not give 5 stars because of this incident.

I found the hotel to be clean and extremely comfortable. Outstanding breakfast. Plenty of parking. The receptionist gave me complimentary late check out, which was fab. Loved it. I will be back this week. Thank you

Hotel was lovely - great location - easy access, next to bars, restaurants and shops - but far enough away you can't hear them.
The room was clean, spacious and generally really nice.
The gym was great, but shut at 7.30pm, as did the pool so we could only use them briefly.
It was also pretty noisy at night - I think I was next to a service door or something, because I could hear trolleys being moved and doors opening and closing all night long.
Generally a great stay.

Great night, good facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. The General Manager was particularly helpful and supportive. The hotel has good links to the Motorway and great for getting into Manchester.

Bolton Whites hotel is the place to go for an excellent meal. Soy marinated Cod, best steak ever, The best I had in years, a very fine cuisine. And an excellent service by Jon. The kitchen is headed up by Paul Heathcote, MBE and his team, previous holder of 2 Michelin Stars and Triple Catey Winner

Located outside Bolton (5 Miles) the Whites offers good Gym, a decent swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna. Pub and meals at the pub are over expectations, rooms are clean and well equipped.
Close to Hotel (walking distance) there is a shopping center with a choice on 6+ Restaurants.
Difficult to book.
Need Taxi to reach Bolton

Staying on business, got a pitch view room and it was absolutely fab.

WiFi in the rooms was a bit slow especially after everyone had checked in but room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and all the staff were very helpful.

For £90 I don't think I could have asked for much more, terrific value for money when elsewhere you'd have to cough up £10 for WiFI and £15 for breakfast, both of which were included in the room rate.

I do not spend three days in a hotel when on business, when you can see a hotel in all aspects. I have been staying at the Whites Hotel for 18 years. This time was the best experience to date. The reception staff were helpful and supportive. They upgraded me to a pitch view room for the three days. As a football fan that was a real treat. The room had enough room to work in comfort. Now with Heathcote's as the caterers the breakfasts were great. We ate in the restaurant, which lacks a bit of atmosphere there being no natural light but the food was great and our friends enjoyed the experience. All in all a great stay.

Great breakfast and comfortable beds. Good value all round. Good location for visits to Rivington Pike and local places of interest. Ideal for BWFC fixtures and events. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Particular thanks to reception staff for ease of booking in.

Rooms are clean and comfortable with good facilities at the hotel overall but not as welcoming at some other hotels I have stayed at.
The location is good and central with easy walking distance if you want to get out for some fresh air for a wander around the shops or to the cinema.
I don't however recommend eating here, the food is less than average and the dining are in the bar is not very welcoming specially if dining alone whilst away for work.

Great facilities and food, but the hotel room was a bit too cold. The bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect as I was going to a function at BWFC in the evening after watching BWFC beat MK Dons earlier in the afternoon

Booked a room here through Booking.com based on location, ease of access and facilities for the price.

There is plenty of parking as you would expect with the hotel being part of Bolton Wanderers stadium, check in is easy and quick with polite and a friendly front of house team.

The room was clean and well appointed with comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, good size bathroom with a decent shower that delivered plenty of hot water with no fuss.

As with most modern rooms there is a good amount of work space, so catching up on a bit of work before dinner is no problem.

Decided to eat at the hotel, as going anywhere else would probably involve jumping the car. The bar and restaurant are situated on the first floor, with a dining menu for each. I opted for the bar menu, with a good and wide choice including burgers, pasta, steak and salads all competitively priced.

I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on how good that is.

In short I found this to be a lot of hotel at a reasonable price when taking into account all aspects of the stay and I would happily use the Bolton Whites Hotel again for both business or leisure purposes.

Excellent hotel, well placed just off the motorway with good parking. Rooms spacious, clean very comfy beds, evening meals and bar facilities very good, breakfast needs a little work. Made use of the pool, sauna and steam room, each time it was not crowded. We stayed in a Penthouse Suite which I would recommend a lovely large bathroom and a separate lounge Railway station very close by with a regular service into Manchester and also to Blackpool.

Staff kept walking in our room we ordered pizza at about 1am and advised we would collect it. Staff member refused and came barging in our room, charged us 10 pound room service even though we said we would collect it which wasn't a problem at 9 pm but was at 1am. He then accused us of smoking and pretended his radio was a tester for smoke threatened to charge an 80 pound fine, I advise you don't go downstairs for a fag and just sit in your room all night otherwise you'll get 'fined'.

Nice hotel, good value booking thru booking.com
The breakfast was decent. Coffee not that good, but plenty of choice. Room was a bit small. Stayed for 2 nights, checkout I thought was a bit early for a weekend (11 am)

We were advised on arrival that our room (343) had a problem with the heating system, however they had put an electric heater in the room and it soon warmed up.
Because it was a match day, we were told that the restaurant didn't open until 8pm and as the match kicked off at 8pm that was no good to us. So we are in the bar area which was OK . unfortunately my wife couldn't eat her steak as it was tough but our complaint to the waiter didn't get much response. All in all it was a very good stay and we will certainly be coming back.
