After a great visit in September we came back again for my Birthday weekend.
We had a great stay with a really nice bar meal. The drinks and service were great on the Friday night. On the Saturday we came out of the spa (which is incredible) and asked for a hot chocolate to be told it had ran out. We then asked for prosecco instead to be told this had ran out too. I complained to reception and the manager arranged for us to have hot chocolate and prosecco for free (Thank you!) once it had arrived from the local shop. The breakfast on one of the days was buffet and the other served to your table. The buffet day let the breakfast down as it was cold, poor quality and always running out. The day it was served was good. The rooms are slightly dated with the shower running red hot one minute and cold the other but I love the view from our room which we have now stayed in twice so I wouldn't change it. Just a few tweaks to be made which I hope they can make before we return again- hopefully in September.

Went on 18th May to a friends hen party we arrived to a lovely welcome from reception. We held the party in a nice room and nothing was to much for the staff. Meals were lovely BUT and that’s a massive BUT the spa was AMAZING. From the second we booked in we were looked after by a lovely lady called Dionne. Nothing was to much trouble she even went outside to take a group photo of us in the hydro pool. She was constantly fussing over us which all added to the wonderful experience. I then went on to have a facial by a first class lady called Debbie I was totally relaxed. I can’t thank everyone enough. I will definitely be returning again. Keep up the good work girls it was first class.

We booked last minute so the price was near 170 pound a night which was a bit eyewatering but we accepted this.
When we arrived reception didn't acknowledge us for at least a few minutes and didn't give us much information and were not particularly friendly very abrupt, which was disheartening.
Just made us sad because we saw the hotel is usually around 80 pound and paying round 170 we expected them to be more personable.
The rooms are okay , beds really comfy, but very tired looking, needs a makeover to modernise, also odd no welcome pack in room, first hotel I have ever been at without one.
Overall, okay experience, just would like more friendly and informative reception.

I want to say an enormous thank you to the last drop for a truly amazing wedding. You made our wedding feel like a fairytale. All the staff was so friendly and made us feel amazing but most importantly they made our children feel so special too. The hotel itself was so luxurious with spectacular views. A true little gem. I would and already have recommended this hotel and have plans to go back real soon.
Our meals were mouthwatering our service was astounding. Our room was to die for, spotless wasn’t even the word to describe how clean our room was ( was serviced with a friendly smile too) these are the small things that made our stay one to remember. We will definitely be coming back for our anniversary.

Visited with my niece. Had lunch in the cafe. It was very quiet, maybe near to closing. Had sandwiches which were quite nice. Menu was adequate but a little disappointing in its variety. Staff were friendly. It all seemed a bit dark. Obviously the buildings are old but could have been a bit brighter.

Excellent stay. We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4.
We had a double bed, a single bed and a fold out bed - but the fold out was a decent quality one. Kettle, iron, hairdryer & trouser press available in the room.
Good pool, spa and gym facilities available for use. Towels available free of charge. £1 needed for the lockers. The only disappointment was that the gym & spa had a minimum age of 16, which was a disappointment to our 12 & 14 year olds.
We ate in the bar one evening - food was good and reasonably priced.
Staff were really polite and helpful.
Large, free car park.
Bromley Cross train station is 1.3 miles away from the hotel - which have regular trains into Manchester which take approx 30 minutes.
A small number of shops on site as well as a pub (The Drop Inn) - but we didn’t use these. A small vintage fair was advertised online for the weekend we were there - but none materialised.

Attended for 2 day residential workshop - great venue and setting, service fantastic, lovely spa facilities a bonus. Only thing not 5 star is the food, which is very good but not great, and eye watering prices in the bar. Would book again!

I held a training day in the penny farthing conference suite on 5th June 2019. I was very impressed by the venue. The bookings team replied to email queries really fast when we were making enquiries and were really helpful in explaining the venue.

The staff who were assigned to us on the day, Nicola assisted by Dillon and Aiden Jagger were attentive and sorted everything. The catering was delicious and enjoyed by all delegates.

The day went really well and I hope to be organising more training days here in future. I feel it is good value for money for a conference centre. Thank you.

I stayed here with my family for my 50th birthday celebrations, we all booked the Saturday Sparkle package which included a 3 course evening meal, breakfast and Sunday lunch also late check out & drinks & oh my was it worth it. The food was excellent, the staff were delightful & really made us all welcome. Most of my party including myself are disabled & all our needs were catered for, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, I will definitely be returning.

The first thing I want to mention is the staff. What a lovely helpful team. Everyone made myself and my friend feel like royalty. We were having an overnight stay with a 2 course dinner, a treatment and breakfast on a Wowcher. We felt is was really good value and the food was excellent. My friend is Vegan and she was given her own menu full of choices which she really enjoyed. I had pate and a roast beef dinner which was absolutely delicious. The breakfast had an amazing selection and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection. We had room 20 in the courtyard. Our bathroom looked brand new and was contemporary and spotless. Our only complaint was the heat in the room. We were boiling! The radiator was switched off, our windows were open but it was still unbearable. Staff kindly brought us a fan but at night there was only a duvet (no sheet) so it was a case of swelter or moon at your buddy! It's not put me off as I would bring a sheet and tower fan next time. We paid extra for a hot stone massage which was wonderful and we loved the outdoor jacuzzi. We got a late check out thrown in so we made use of the facilities again after breakfast. All in all we loved it and I'd have given it 5 stars if I'd slept better.

If your looking to get married then look no further. You will not be disappointed. The wedding team are brilliant and will make your day perfect! Nothing is to much bother. I got married in the penny farthing suite, and had my ceremony in the main room which I would recommend as it's so much nicer. Food was delicious, we had so many compliments on the canapés, meal and evening buffet. The team worked really well all day. Well done guys and thank you so much, you have given us the best day ever!

Got married here on Thursday and a 5 star review doesn't seem enough when I think about how perfect our wedding day was and how everyone at the last drop helped that happen 😍 from our first meeting with jacqueline (who is amazing and every bride needs a jacqueline!) the communication and everything has been brilliant. We had an intimate wedding and was never made to feel any less of a bride. The evening reception in the drop inn was perfect and I'm so grateful for having free reign in there to decorate how I wanted it. Also big thank you to the staff that were working on the bar on the evening of our wedding who were there late packing up all our decorations and had them all boxed ready for us to pack in the morning, that was a massive help 😍 thank you to Franco who was making sure everything ran smoothly during the day then the same with Nicola in the evening. Should also mention the food was absolutely stunning and there were clean plates and full bellies all round. Absolutely perfect xxx

We had three rooms for two nights. The location and general charm and rustic grandeur of the place are evident. The communal areas are good, clean and well maintained. The bedrooms, on the other hand, were a different matter. Shabby, poorly maintained, not very clean and very outdated. This really could be a destination hotel, but needs some money spending on it.

Apart from the Tea Room, all staff were very professional, efficient and courteous. The staff in the Tea Room seemed uninterested and poorly trained.

We had a light snack and drinks in the Tea Room, we did not feel welcome and the food was cold.

Lovely little tea room. Unfortunately the food wasn't nice! We had to remind the woman (who was a bit severe) serving us, that we should have a glass of Prosecco each. This is common with Groupon, they hope you forget you're getting a glass of fizz!!! Then we had to ask for the jam that was supposed to be provided with the scone. We had two finger sandwiches per person, the veg option was a weird tasting cheese and a strange mix of veggies in the other! A scone, tiny custard tart, Ferrero Rocher type chocolate, small meringue and a 'bun' that we couldn't decide what the flavour was! It was tomato and herby flavour!

Booked spa with friends. Had two lovely treatments and full access to the saunas and pools etc. What we were shocked with, was our small portioned meals arriving in a box. It was like being on a plane. Tacky, unappetising and poor presentation. Waitress in the restaurant hadn’t a clue about what was going on. Not impressed with that bit at all.

I visited this venue on 5 occasions over the past 2 weeks to deliver training (first time at this venue) and was very impressed with the training room and facilities, however, not half as impressive as my host for the day (Nichola Kingham) she was so attentive and professional and she really had a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude that really shone through!! I have strongly recommended this venue to my booking team (mainly due to Nichola’s service) to use this venue again!!
Really WELL DONE!!

What a beautiful place to visit...the spa facilities are second to none. . Two areas for consideration though are...we were chilling in the bar area enjoying our free welcome drink...and the staff proceeded to take the remote control and put football on the large tv screen . This led to cheers and chants from a family that had obviously requested it....I would never expect this on a relacobg spa break . It's what i paid to get Way from . Also the robes that we're provided to us after paying to upgrade. Smelt of fried food and when they became wet from wearing the odour was intolerable.

We have had a brilliant weekend. I arrived on Saturday afternoon for a hen party, there were 14 of us. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble.
We were given rooms near the spa which was really handy as we had booked spa treatments. When we got to our room, there was a lovely bottle of cold prosecco and canapes waiting for us. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were so comfy best night sleep in a long time. My only room niggles were: the wifi and the temperature in the room at times. We were in room 52 and struggled to get signal and our room could have done with air conditioning.
When we went into the spa, the whole area was well organised and all staff were professional. The treatments I received were excellent and a big thank you to all staff, but particularly to Dionne who looked after our party throughout our visit and Zarah Ahmed who was my therapist. The only thing I would say could have been improved was the space in the relaxation room. As a there were a number of parties in the spa, we were limited on space and at times struggled to all fit in.
In the evening,Sarah, Reece and barman John looked after our party and ensured that everything went without a hitch. A brilliant weekend had by everyone.

Took my girlfriend as a surprise for her working so hard at uni. Was difficult to find a nice spa on the internet, so a family member recommended the last drop. We arrived at 9:15am with two treatments booked for 12pm the staff were very helpful on arrival and nothing was too much for them throughout the day. The spa itself was kept very clean. Very nice relaxing atmosphere. The treatments were incredible! The advice and professionalism of the staff was more than perfect. We came out of our treatments feeling very refreshed. The afternoon tea put on for us after our treatments was beautiful. They also allowed us to re enter the spa for a while before we called it a day.

If you are humming and ahing about whether to come, just book! You will not regret it!

Thank you for an incredible experience.
