I spent two nights here for my aunties wedding recently, we were staying in a courtyard room which isn’t in the main building but is closer than some rooms to the main reception.
The room was ideal for two people, it was nice and clean, the rooms was up to date. When we requested for extra towels at reception they were at my room in less than 10 minutes.
The breakfast had wide range of options to choose from both hot and cold, accompanied from a wide variety of juices. There was continental breakfast and an English breakfast which you serve yourself, also they potato cakes which is considered local food to the area which is interesting to try. We also ate at the hotel in the evening and the food although pricey (hotel prices) was extremely enjoyable.
The bar staff on the wedding day and the day before seemed to be new to their role and left on the bar by themselves which meant the service was often very slow, also the prices of the drinks in comparison to other hotels which I been a guest at are considerably higher and the price of a pint was over £5.
I also used the leisure facilities, the outdoor infinity pool was lovely; the temperature of pool was really enjoyable and relaxing. The swimming pool was great too! However I do think the Steam rooms and sauna could do with a little update to fit in with the rest of the facilities.
Overall I think the Last drop village is an excellent place to stay, providing some lovely scenes during your stay. The friendliness and willingness to help from the staff was lovely. Although I raised a few points here I would absolutely stay here again.

Have visited a couple of time, once for a Sunday night deal and this time for the Friday night fizz deal. Love this spa hotel because it is very laid back and relaxed. The offers are fantastic as they include a 3 course meal which is excellent. The Friday night deal also had a bottle of prosecco and a drinks voucher so a real bargain at £150. We visit quite a few spa hotels and I think the facilities at Last Drop are excellent. Spa is spotless, good size pool and smaller jacuzzi type pool which is lovely. Bit disappointed with the 'village' part as it looks a bit tired, but to be honest the positives far outweigh the negatives. Rooms are spacious and clean. Its become our go to spa when we need a quick uplift.

We renewed our wedding vows here this weekend. From first booking the event in November last year right up to the vow renewal ceremony itself, the staff have beeen amazing!!! Jacqueline, one of the Wedding Coordinators, has not only helped us and guided us with meal choices, buffet items, but pointed us in the right direction for decorations, flowers, photographers, DJs, etc., making sure we didn’t miss a thing. On the day itself, Jacqueline came to the room I was getting ready in with our daughter (our bridesmaid) and kept me calm after receiving a terrible phone call about a friend, helped me with my dress walking down to the Penny Farthing Suite where we were getting married, and I think got a little emotional through the ceremony too! The entire staff at the Last Drop were amazing - the staff in the restaurant when myself and my daughter were having a meal the night before, the lady in the restaurant at breakfast who we had a lovely chat with, the gentleman who we have seen plenty of times in the restaurant on our previous visits to the hotel who’s name unfortunately I can’t remember (sorry) who congratulated me in the corridor... and I’d also like to say a massive thank you to Nicola, who looked after us massively at the wedding breakfast and reception. She made sure everything ran like clockwork and treated us like part of the Last Drop family.
Thank you again for making it the best day ever!!!

Well, what an amazing party we all had! We had organised a party for my parents 65th Wedding Anniversary as we knew the hotel. My husband and I have stayed at the hotel many times before and we are both spa members there too. The service we received from the events team, particularly Jacqueline, was fantastic. We were given lots of choices and updated regularly on plans. We were then given a larger room for the party which was brilliant and looked amazing when it was all set up. We opted for a hot & cold buffet and were given a good selection to choose from. Everyone commented how good the food was. There were 40 members of the family attending the party and we all stayed at the hotel the night of the party. Everyone was happy with their accommodation and the breakfast was lovely too. Just want to say a msssive Thank you to all the staff who looked after us, particularly Jacqueline & Nicola. You made my parents extremely happy and the whole family had a fantastic time!

My husband and I used a gift voucher for a Fizz Friday, and had a truly wonderful break. It was an amazing gift, and the hotel lived up to its reputation. There was a birthday card, chocolate dipped strawberries and prosecco waiting for us. The room was very well appointed, very clean. The hotel is in a lovely position, the weather smiled upon us, and the spa not too busy. We took advantage of a "Three Decades" night - the DJ was very good - and danced the night away.

All of the food was good, as expected drinks were slightly more expensive than average. On the whole I can say it was a lovely birthday.

Went yesterday for a spa package bought from Woucher.
We arrived late as the traffic was busy on the motorway. We’d already missed the time for our first treatment.
The staff in the spa where wonderful. They sorted it that we could still have both treatments and still have them in the room together at the same time. They didn’t need to do this but did. We couldn’t thank them enough.
The back massage and facial we both received was heavenly. Certainly made our day.
Then into the pool area and thermal pool. OMG it’s lovely. Hot water very relaxing and with swim out pool and views are great. Shame houses with spoil the view that are being built there.

The only downside of the day was we didn’t book lunch. Had to go into the hotels bar and that wasn’t serving food as they was charging tills over to new system. So we had to go into the tea room. We’d had to get dressed for this so didn’t go back into the spa. Shame really as we only spent a few hours in it.

We will return tho as this is our second visit to here.

Large family room
Generally the hotel was nice unable to get into the restaurant as it was full so went to the retreat down the road which was excellent well
The cleanliness of the room found a hair on the bathroom floor and the shelves in the bathroom I don’t think has ever been cleaned
The bar took a long time to be served
The view from the jacuzzi is a car park and a building site not sure want this is trying to achieve?

We have just come back from the Last Drop hotel and Spa, what a lovely place, all the staff are so friendly, the Manager Gerry makes time to chat with you, we couldn’t get a reservation at the onsite restaurant and after speaking with Gerry he somehow managed to fit us in!! The Sap is fantastic, the heated infinity pool is amazing it overlooks the countryside, I had a massage whilst there so relaxing!! Breakfast was all you could eat and more! We will be back!

In spite of booking a table for three for Mother's Day afternoon (knowing full well how busy it was likely to be), on arrival it seemed there was no record of our having booked. I had not taken my mobile phone with me, so couldn't show the confirmation email. But as I'd given my name when booking over the phone I hadn't thought this would be a problem.
As a result, we had to sit on the edge of the main eating area. The staff seemed quite rushed and flustered (almost as if they didn't expect to be full on the afternoon of Mother's Day?!), and as a result service was a little slipshod. For example, I clearly ordered a side salad with my main meal, but this didn't materialise. So the waitress had to return to the kitchen, and came back with it five minutes later.
On the upside, our 7-y-o daughter enjoyed her meal. Taken as a set meal, she wasn't, though, told that she could have chosen any of the ice cream flavours on offer for her dessert, and was simply given what presumably the waitress thought to give her. Also, considering they make such a big feature of their cream teas, the amount and quality of the cream which came with my wife's were below average.
Yes, clearly the staff in the tea room were also preparing food for guests in the hotel - but on this occasion, they were overwhelmed, and it showed.

Me and my husband got married here on the 23rd March and OMG the girls Tara and Jacquline was just Amazing they was so helpful from day 1 and got everything so perfect for our day,, they was super fast at getting back to me if I had any problems or questions, they did there very best to get everything organise for the big day.

We got married at 2.30 and I did nothing till then other that sort my self out everything was taken care off with no fuss.
The two rooms we stayed in were lovely, very clean and plenty of space, the staff were all friendly and would do anything to help.
The food was really good too both wedding breakfast and food down at the bar.

Visited 20/03-21/03 2019.

My friend booked us in to the Last Drop Hotel and Spa through Wowcher for a girly getaway.

It's nicely located away from the town centre and is a quiet and gentle place to relax.

We arrived quite late but Yulia on reception made us feel very welcome and set the high tone for the visit.

We had room 67 which had a large king bed and room 60 which had a double and single. They were both very comfortable and a great size with modern bathrooms.

We dined at the restaurant which had gorgeous food and had a separate vegan menu also which was a big plus for me. The staff were helpful and reassuring with our orders.

The bed was very comfortable and it's a shame I didn't get a good night's sleep due to the snoring from my friend! I went down to reception around 2.30am to see if there were earplugs available and unfortunately there weren't but the gent on the desk did try his best to source some which was appreciated. Readily available earplugs would be a good addition.

The spa facilities were really nice, we particularly enjoyed the outdoor hydrotherapy pool and multiple steam rooms.

We all had massages which were fantastic and super relaxing.

Would definitely return again!

I've described places we've visited before as being deluxe but even that doesn't do this justice. We went here for an anniversary weekend and it was THE UPMOST special occasion. We did go the whole hog and have an executive room but it was worth every penny. It's probably the nicest room I've ever stayed in. From the cafe when we arrived to the treatments we had in the spa, the gorgeous food and atmosphere in the restaurant and bar and to cap it off the infinity jacuzzi with the magnificent views this was the ultimate weekend stay. The staff were very friendly and attentive and was given a free upgrade on the Sunday so had a couple of extra hours so have us chance to use the spa facilities again after a lovely breakfast. So overall an anniversary we won't forget and we will be back. Thank you Last Drop Village.

Love this village hotel. Comfotable clean rooms. nice friendly reception staff. Beautiful food. The restaurant manager on a morning is fantastic, she's attentive polite and very customer service focused a lovely lady, think her name is Isobel. The bonus is the gym and spa facilities. A real home from home. The only down side for me is you don't get bottled water unless in an executive room. I only drink bottled water so would prefer that to be in every room.

Just got home after spending two nights at the Last Drop Vilage Hotel and Spa we booked a travelzoo deal with dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings and two glasses of processco on each day .This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel altough on the other occasions it was part of the Mecure Group I have to say I was impressed with the changes to the decor since we last visited the reception areas and corridors were much brighter and more modern looking like wise the room we stayed in was clean and tidy , a couple of minor points the wash hand basin had a long crack in it which was pronounced when you ran your finger over it also a lot of the sealant in the bathroom was messy. This was the first time we have stayed in the main part of the hotel (room 63) the wifi seemed to have improved since we last stayed and we had no issues with this during our stay. The spa complex was busy on both days we were there but we still managed to access most of the facilities .We love the heated indoor/outdoor and like the view across the valley although this was spoiled on this occassion by the construction work being carried out which look like they are extending the car park.
As someone who manages in a customer care enviroment I was very impressed with the attitude and appearance of all the staff we encountered both at reception and in the bar/resturant areas ,we had a bit of hiccup with our vouchers on arrival which was resolved fairly quickly likewise the confusion over a supplement charge for staying.
I like the uniforms the staff wear which look very professional and overall it looks like the emerson group have invested in improving the hotel.

We will visit again

Stayed here last week night prior to a wedding. Check in was smooth. We was allocated a room on the other side of the hotel due to needing a family room but was never advised of this so would of been nice of them to mention at checkin.
Slight disappointment no biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Room was nice, beds comfy, bathroom did look like it did need a little repair (a lot of the sealing around the bath was damaged)
Evening meal was nice and fast service received in the restaurant
Breakfast the next !morning was nice but have had better (and no hash browns!?!)

Wedding meal was lovely too. Price of room was just a little bit pricey for the area.
