The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough! Very comfortable and luxurious room just annoying the designer shower with a short screen meant water leaked onto floor and we needed extra towels to mop up. Great relaxing atmosphere all round but food in restaurant a little disappointing. great breakfast in the morning though!

The Village is a great place for me as my business is in Heyford a 3 minute drive away. With all the road works in place at the moment, I'm not entirely sure if the location would be suitable if you wanted to stay outside of Manchester?
The facilities are very good with the leisure club used by many locals aswell as guests. The food in the restaurant is very good although slightly pricey if you are a paying guest. In the pub the food is good plus the added bonus of 2 Real Ales to taste. Service alround is excellent with staff always available.
Can get very busy with events so if you don't want to be squeezing past people wandering around in the foyer check first for any planned events.
Overall a decent stay can't really compare prices as its the only place I've stayed in around that area.

Check in & out the staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves rather than interacting with myself! Room was nice & clean :) The hotel should really warn you if there are big events etc as i was on the first floor & there was a party downstairs that was playing really loud music past 1am! Not the best when we were just having a relaxing night away. Easy location to get to straight off the motorway.

The room was really nice.. had modern interior .. shower was really nice too. Had a really big tv! And the bed was absolutely comfortable! The only downfall I had was actually getting to my room. It was like a maze. I got lost. Would be help full if someone could come and take you to your room especially if they can see you have a lot of bags :) but apart from that I would definitely stay again! Oh and the pool was relaxing!

I have been booking my staff into this hotel for several months now and they all say what a great hotel it is and how much they prefer this hotel to others in the area. I then stayed here myself for the first time last week and I completely agree with them. It's a super hotel. It's recently undergone a full refurbishment and all the rooms are stylish and contemporary. The staff are very efficient and bend over backwards to help you. Lots of facilities - Starbucks, restaurant, large bar, spa, gym, large swimming pool, plenty of parking, etc etc. The room I was in had an amazing shower, had a huge bed and even had a coffee machine. A very comfortable stay.

From checking in to checking out I can honestly say everything was perfect. The room was so comfortable clean and smart, the food at our event was just great and the staff throughout the venue were very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed here for our anniversary.
The hotel has recently been refurbished and is looking good.
We stayed in one of the Club Rooms which comes with a massive telly and a posh coffee machine. They have also recently been refurbished to a higher standard than a normal room
It cost £15 to upgrade to the Club Room, and I would recommend it
We had a lovely night

Nice hotel, good gym facilities. Room was nice and clean and the bathroom was modern and very clean. The hotel was slightly noisy with it being next to a main road and I was disappointed to have to have a cold shower in the morning but I would stay again.

I stayed in a Club room with my friend. We came straight form work to get ready at the hotel. The bathroom was great, but the lighting in the bedroom is poor to do your make up and hair - as there were two of us we needed to use the bedroom in addition to the bathroom.

The beds were really comfortable, although they were made up into a double when we arrived, housekeeping soon came to separate them into twins as per our booking.

The breakfast was just what you would expect, the staff were very helpful.

Check in was quick and easy but was a bit unpersonal as its all computerised, but good if you don't like the interaction. We stayed in the club room and it was lovely, huge bed and television. And very clean. We booked into the restaurant that night. My partner ordered the chicken Kiev, on his first mouthful he bit into quite a large bone and hurt his tooth. When we complained they informed us this was how it was served. Unusual if you ask me. They also informed us that it's in the small print at the bottom of the menu. I later looked at the menu and could not find this information. I did find that a 10% service charge was automatically added to your bill. My partner suffered with tooth ache for the rest of the evening and it completely ruined our experience.

They tried too hard with the coffee machine in the bedroom. OTT. It was a top quality machine and took too long to learn how to make a good cup of coffee. They were insufficient staff on reception and it did seem that the prime interest of the staff was the coffee bars, pub, and restaurants.

Enjoyable stay using all the amenities & restaurants. Great location & within a distance allowing me to travel to my course in Bury. I am likely to re booked this hotel because of the leisure facilities available

There's not great deal of choice of decent hotels in the Bury or Rochdale area. This is by far the best.
Nice modern rooms but the walls are paper thin and therefore you can occasionally have a disturbed sleep, in my case a grizzly bear was snoring really loud next door.
The bar is excellent, food, drink, football on massive TV and staff are excellent.
Plenty parking too, but very annoying that the Bentley's, Range Rover's and Porsche's all park in the disabled spaces at the front.

My husband and I have enjoyed a lovely get away evening at the hotel. We stayed on the feel good Friday deal, which we thought was excellent value for the price. The lady at check in was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed using the pool, though it was quite busy with children's swimming lessons going on, but it wasn't off putting and the jacuzzi and sauna where lovely. It did take me a while to realise the changing rooms where the changing rooms, as you could just mistake the door as a WC. Not very well signed. Also only a couple of private cubicles, so not good if your not comfortable getting changed in front of strangers. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, the starters where not the best, but the main meals where very tasty. The service was efficient to and the waiting on staff very pleasant. The room was very modern, trendy and cosy. My only small criticism is the water leaked over the top of the shower tray onto the bathroom floor, which could be a hazard. The bed was really comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. We will definitely return again.
