Great! Big rooms, really clean and comfy beds. Easy access to Bury and would definitely go back
Great staff, too. the sort of place you look forward to returning to after a long day! Big enough to be anonymous in and small enough to be freindly

Very pleasant stay. I stay here every month for my business trips and can not complain. Everything is as it should be. Staff are professional and polite and rooms are very comfortable, clean and tidy. Bar food is good and reasonable

I stay here on a regular basis for business and would stay for pleasure.Clean rooms...with the latest tech in the rooms including Sky TV with wifi that actually does work (unlike other hotel brands) with a fab bar and great restaurant.

Called in after work for catch up drink with friend. Only went in the pub for a coffee - but went to Starbucks for second one. Pub has been refurbished and isn't particularly nice. They have a new coffee machine that seems to have limited their milk options. Hot chocolate is no longer nice :-( pub is dark inside and they turn the lights down before 5.30. Bar staff are nice - but Starbucks is better now (and I don't like starbucks) sad.

The majority of the stay was pleasant and the staff lovely. Drinks a little on the pricy side especially in the restaurant but got a good deal on the stay overall so not too bad. Looking to stay again

A modern and comfortable stay. The Reception and Bar staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Couldn't fault the food or the room. The only thing that let it down for me was the lady in charge of the breakfast .... bit of an attitude!!!

When we arrived we had to check ourselves in and produce key cards. The room, although it was spotless was very dark, with only one small spot light above the bed, we had to put bedside and table lamps on to see. The bed was really comfy and we were cosy. The noise from the road didn't bother us at all, however, the people in the room right above us thumped and stomped around for ages. The breakfasts were very good, set us both up for the day. We ate in the Victory pub once and weren't impressed, so we went over to the Waterfold Farm and really enjoyed our meals there. The Hotel itself was cold, no matter where we sat, more so in the restaurant, so take something warm with you. The swimming pool, sauna, and jaccuzzi were all first class. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there, you don't need change for the lockers as you are given a fob when you sign in. I think we will visit again.

We stayed here to visit the Flying Scotsman. We booked early hoping this would be a cheaper deal. Two friends booked the night before they paid 40 pounds less than us.
The room was upgraded and classed as CLUB. Hmmmm the decor was ok etc the standard of cleaning was poor. Big hair in the shower and splashes of fluid on the bathroom wall next to the toilet- looked like sick. I told reception who offered a free Starbucks. They said they would roll the housekeeping team- still there when I returned.
The breakfast was not the best - a wait for tea and coffee-a wait for bacon and the only eggs were fried. The staff were pleasant enough but were clearly rushed off their feet at breakfast.
Overall i think this below average hotel for the money.

We stayed here for one night. We received an email asking if we would like to upgrade to a club room which we did. Room clean comfortable bed but we were at the front so we could the traffic from the motorway. The shower was excellent but after I had washed my hair I found that there was no mirror, the only one was in the bathroom. Obviously you cannot take electrical items into a bathroom so how are you supposed to style your hair without any mirror and to be perfectly honest I don't think it warranted the upgrade which did not include the cost of the breakfast. We have stayed in the premier inn in Bury on a couple of occasions and that is where we will stay again. I am afraid we will not be staying here.

The hotel has recently been refurbished. It now offers a great business meeting place and the rooms are superb value for what you pay.

Warm welcome, super facilities and top food! Just had a refurb so the rooms are brand new. Comfortable bed which is exactly what you need after visiting the leisure facilities. All the staff are very friendly and able to meet your requirements. Thoroughly recommended for both business and leisure purposes.

Our stay got off to a really bad start when I brought it to the attention of the receptionist that we had been allocated a different room type to which I had booked. I was questioned by the receptionist as to why I required the type of room that I had booked. (Terrible customer service). I expected to receive an apology, not an inquest. This incident really spoiled what should have been a happy return to the hotel that we had had our wedding reception in some 9 years earlier.
The staff in the restaurant were great and could not do enough for you.
Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.

Very nice beds, very quiet room. super clean.
The room was a bit difficult to find in the hotel.
Shower was excellent, room was very clean and comfortable
I would use the words " busin ess" and " hip" for this hotel, not " cosy" or " family-friendly"

Just got back from a great stay in this hotel for the weekend, on arrival check in was quick n easy, hotel looked lovely rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. We all shared sandwiches n chips down stairs as we were having a 3 course meal there that night for the 80s night which was included in the whole stay both were really nice, the entertainment at night was great too. After a great nights sleep got a taxi into buy town for a wee bit of shopping which was only a couple of pound. The swimming pool is fantastic very big n lovely areas to chill out. Over all great place, staff n food etc.👍🏻👍🏻

me and my friend Stayed at this hotel when we were in Bury for a wedding, the room was immaculate, so clean, bed was unbelievably comfy, and there was plenty of plug sockets around the room (doesn't sound like much but compared to other hotels with plug sockets half way across the room) staff were lovely, especially ross & Julien, the night staff, so friendly and accommodating they really made our stay so much better genuinely great people, will definitely be coming back!

We booked the Sunday offer as a little treat & a night away from home. The bed was so comfortable & the waiting on staff in the restaurant made it even better by going the extra mile & all having a smile on their face.

Only 2 things I would change and that would be more lighting in the room and a kettle instead of a coffee machine but otherwise perfect
I think I'll look to see where your hotels are because I'll definitely be visiting again

Good location and friendly staff, well located for visiting Bury, Avoid room 120 as next to boiler which goes until 11pm and bathroom could do with some modernisation, the faculties are very good on site

Excellent Hotel, staff were amazing, warm and welcoming. Dined in the Public House bar the food was very good. Had breakfast in the hotel this was top quality. Starbucks I was very impressed with. Overnight stay for work so never got to use the pool or spa services but would 100% recommend this hotel for work or leisure stays. Big thumbs up to the night manager on duty on Tuesday 4th October 2016 he is a credit to the hotel!!

Hotel very suitable for business stay, however not exceptional.
For some reason the rates on Tuesday are much higher than other weekdays??? This makes the value for money for this one night not great.

We have stayed at this hotel since it was first built some 17+ years ago. It is extremely handy for us and within a reasonably walking distance to the town centre.
We were disappointed with our initial room. Although the hotel has undergone a very recent refurbishment, we found our bedroom was quite good, although the light switches to the headboard were damaged and did not adjust. However, the bathroom was quite disappointing. The bath appeared to be one of the original ones and definitely the countertop around the sink area and sink itself was one of the original features when the hotel was built. Considering the amount of refurbishment completed, I would have expected a total renewal of all bathroom fixtures and fitting.

One of the extremely disappointing and alarming finds however on this stay was that a set of guests in one of the bedrooms had a dog with them. We were totally unaware that any form of pet was allowed in the hotel (perhaps guide dogs excepted). As I have a severe allergy to pet hair I am both shocked and alarmed at this. Even if this was just a transient doggy visit, it should not be allowed.

Our room was very noisy and we were continually disturbed by returning party guests slamming their doors shut and also ones outside the front of the building making a continual noise until 02.30 am. On the plus side, we were offered a room upgrade the following day due to problems with the room and we accepted this.
