I was strongly recommended to try Balgores after having a disastrous time house hunting with alternate companies.
I cannot express how pleased I am that I (eventually) took the advice. The service I received from start to finish was exceptional, and the agent (Michael Bacon) went above and beyond to make sure that I found a rental property that ticked every box I had, and even went as far as to offer local advice (I'm new to Chelmsford) and checked in to see how the move had gone, which was a very nice touch.
Wouldn't even bother looking to any other companies should I need to move again.

We have been so delighted with the level of service and support that we’ve had from Trefor during the entire process. Selling our house was relatively easy, it’s all the problems that emerge during the transaction. Trefor kept us informed at all times. He was in contact with agents and solicitors up the line.
The online agent that our seller used was not helpful, difficult to contact and didn’t seem to try and push things through. You pays your money........

From the very first meeting with Mike Bacon at my rental property, it was clear to me that I was going to entrust him to look after my investment. We spent over an hour discussing the process of renting and I was left highly impressed with his attitude, knowledge and enthusiasm.
During marketing, Mike and his team gave me feedback and advice which quickly led to an acceptable offer from a professional tenant.
At one stage, in the interim period between accepting the offer and tenants moving in, I thought of a query on deposit schemes while sat on my sofa at 10:25pm. I emailed Mike from my phone so that I didn’t forget, not expecting a response until the next day. I had my full, comprehensive reply from Mike within 10 minutes! I can’t tell you how much that impressed me.
The tenants moved in some time ago and things are going well. If there is ever an issue, it is dealt with by the property manager Jade Sharpe in a speedy, efficient manor.
I can’t recommend Mike and his Balgores team highly enough and I certainly won’t be using any other agent. Well done guys.

I needed to find a property quickly near to my new job
Michael Bacon in the Lettings department talked me through the process and paperwork.
He then took me to four properties, my problem became which one to rent.
Again Michael gave great advice helping me to pick the best property for me.
The whole thing became a delight, I am now living in a place that meets all my requirements

Michael stayed an hour after the close of business two days in a row to help me progress quickly with finding the right mortgage. He gave balanced, fair and useful insights with mortgages.
The other staff at Balgores are also really friendly, responsive, and I would thoroughly recommend using their services. I will definitely consider using them again if I need property agents in the future.
The lawyers they referred me to (APL, based in Leeds) and Countrywide solicitors were also very good. It was useful to be able to rely on Balgores and it certainly paid off. Thanks Balgores team!

I used Balgores to sell my house after failing with another agent. Their enthusiasm and dedication puts them well ahead of some other agents. I was with my first agent for 4 months, and in that time I had 9 viewings. In 4 months with Balgores, I had 54 viewings and 4 offers. Balgores also sent a professional photographer who made our house look like a show home. Fantastic job all round, especially from Brad, Allannah, Casey, and Matt. Very happy with the service, and happily settled in my new home too! The best estate agent in Chelmsford!
