The scenery is great and henanced by the cafe and shop, a great experience. There are plenty of gifts and souvenirs to cover all age groups and tastes.

We come here frequently for a walk on the Downs, between Belle Tout lighthouse and the Cuckmere river. Super sights and lovely walking. The walk is very Up and Down so don’t try to go too far.
Incorporate the Birling Gap National Trust cafe in your plans - they normally have a great soup for lunch.

My favourite view of the Severn Sisters is from Seaford Head Nature Reserve to the west of Cuckmere Haven. This is not easy to find but well worth the effort. The cliffs are often shown in films when they are claimed to be the white cliffs of Dover.

On a clear day Nothing better than taking a Brisk stroll up there and taking in the fresh air and scenery.

At the Top there is a small shop next too the light house that serves Ice Creams , Drinks and snack etc .

Well worth a visit or maybe 2 😄

Started at the car park and headed off over the cliffs with great views on a beautiful sunny winters day and then came back and walked up the beach before returning to the cafe for a small ( stingy) cup of tea and a lovely slice of chocolate olive oil cake which came to £5.50
This tiny cafe doesn’t have to charge that much surely!
Then set off down the other side of the river to the beach to take more photos
Really enjoyed my walk it’s a lovely place.

We parked in the National Trust car park, and dropped in to the café which was of the expected NT quality. Would recommend the Visitor Centre as a timely reminder of what is happening to the coastline in terms of erosion. Walks in either direction along the coast are available.

I have had drinks and snacks here previously, but the last two visits have been disappointing. Sandwiches were mediocre, Sausage rolls very greasy. Staff were miserable. Sorry, but standards have dropped, and I have visitecd on and off for over 30 years.

The rate of erosion is staggering so worth spending some time in the museum. The viewing platform offers great views of the sisters and pebbled beaches. A nice cafe and facilities available and a National Trust site.

Took my grandmother here for a coffee and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lovely to sit overlooking the sea whilst having a lovely lunch and coffee. Reasonably priced and free to park for national trust members or not too expensive if you aren't.

We didn't take a stroll down to the beach on this occasion as it was very windy but have done so in the past and have always found this area to be clean and have excellent rockpools if you are visiting with children.

Cliffs seen from the beach are impressive, it's like being on another planet, with all the white and grey rocks. Very nice and regenerative walk along the sea

Lunch at the National Trust Cafe at Birling Gap then a brisk walk up over the Downs toward Seven Sisters. Great at anytime of the year but particularly good to blow away the winter blues on a beautiful winters day.

From the national trust car park are three flights of steps down to the beach. There is no wheel chair access. The steps both up and down are not easy with a stick either. The views are brilliant.

The chalk looks like snow. It’s just beautiful!
4 short flights of stairs from the car park down onto the beach, and the you can walk for miles.
Be careful of rock falls right near the cliffs, but it is a really picturesque place to visit.

This Eastbourne lovable spot is great for family, friends, pets, everyone! I went there with my partner and we didn’t want to leave. The views are great from above and below. Would highly recommend taking a trip here if you visit Eastbourne, you may even catch a crab or two!

Paid to park in a muddy mess of a car park. So no 5 the star. Nice hikes and spectacular views either on the beach or on the cliffs.

Love the drive to Birling Gap. I thought £4 for 2 tea bags and some hot water (tea for 2) was very pricey so now take a flask!

Beautiful, but definitely a national trust honey trap. Very, very busy. This does detract a little from the visit unfortunately, but the chalk cliffs are still a sight to behold.
