Great place to go for a walk. When the tide is out, you can walk along the beach. If the tide is in, the cliff walk is just as good.

Ideal for long walks with marvellous views. Worthy of a day trip from London. Then go to East Dean and the Tiger Inn for a drink of lunch/dinner or to Alfriston and the Star Inn. Great day.

This is a beautiful place to visit. Drive along the valley, park and walk. Great views if you climb the path. Parking is good but gets crowded. There is a regular bus from Brighton or Eastbourne.

I couldn't recommend more a visit to Seven Sisters and the Birling Gap.
Really great place for a walk, canoeing, photo shooting, relax and enjoy.
Be it a solo visit, in family or bigger groups, you will find loads of things to do always with great views of the beautiful surrounding nature.
Every time I come here I find some other new things I missed from previous visits.
Wonderful and delightful.

A spectacular place , undulating white cliffs beside a silvery sea . We. clambered down to the beach and found several interesting fossils including spherical fossilised sponges ! We visited the National Trust shop and very educational information centre . Sadly there has been a landslip since we visited which has rendered the beach inaccessible for the time being

What a lovely place to wander in any weather , a path for those who want it or grass for those who do not. Look out for sheep droppings on the grass though , dogs can run off lead here if your respectfull of the wild life , children can explore or ride bikes and if you have the time to walk to the sea, at low tise you have rocks and coves to explore.Parling does cost and can be full esp in summer ,there are oter places to park a short walk away . Ice cream van usually on site.

A splendid place to go for a walk; great to look out at the chalk face - and keep well away from the edge!

Impressive looking down and looking up. Many visitors from all over the world. The sun shone and it was very busy with children enjoying the sea and dogs swimming/fetching balls and sticks. Be aware of cliff falls!

Any walk along the Seven Sisters is going to be beautiful and add that to some late summer sunshine and it is wonderful. The Birling Gap visitor Centre is very interesting with a volunteer on hand to answer questions on the natural environment. There were exhibitions on wildlife and the local geography, artwork and a shop. However the National Trust cafe is well over priced and should be avoided. Buy your snacks/picnics in town first.

We visited on a Friday. Car park was a decent size but you need to scan your membership card to obtain a ticket. Interesting visitor centre joined to a shop and cafe. The cafe was large and very busy. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy a picnic. Wonderful view of the cliffs with good access to the beach. It’s a compact place so great if you don’t want to walk too far. Great location to walk from.

The more time you can spend walking along the cliffs and through the down the better. The views are breathtaking on a clear day. At low tide spend time beach combing for fossils and wildlife. There is a very good beachcombers guide available in the gift shop.

very impressed with the small visitors centre which included photos/video of the collapsing cliff.
free car park.
Cliff walk /views well worth the time.
A line of old cottages has progressively been falling over the edge, interesting to see the history of this in the visitors centre
step access to beach you can walk along the beach but after seeing the video keep well clear of the cliff collapse areas.

If you have never walked the seven sisters well put your boots on and get going. The views are amazing, there is a bit of up and down so a little fitness is no bad thing.

A magnificent place, and the journey to reach it doesn't disappoint either; traversing the Sussex Downs to journeys end at the Birling Gap is something I'd recommend to every visitor to the area; this place has it all. Geography, scenery, flora, fauna , history and many natural phenomena, even coastal erosion and its visible effects on the environment.. Just go there, and drink it all in!

Stunning place to visit. Dramatic landscape. Fabulous for families, couples, groups, photographers, etc.

National Trust facilities were, as always, excellent. Plenty of parking, clean toilets, nice coffee shop, gift shop and exhibition room.
