Fabulous, hilarious and thoroughly enjoyable. The whole cast were spectacular. I can't remember the last time I laughed like that. The audience participation was fun. I love this theatre as it has such a lovely atmosphere. We are so lucky to have great plays and performances such as this in Eastbourne. Can't wait for the Congress to reopen.

A superb, small theatre with polite and helpful staff. Four of us saw 'The Play That Goes Wrong' which was excellent and had the whole audience laughing for the complete performance. As others have suggested, some air conditioning would be most welcome!

Great performance of the play that went wrong but get some air conditioning or keep the doors open! Was like a sauna and was so uncomfortable it put me off the last 10 minutes

Went to the theatre to see Paul McGann in Gabriel. The play was fine - a pleasant evening's entertainment - but I was delighted with the theatre itself. A classic Victorian theatre in very good condition (although the seats could do with an overhaul!)

We saw Abigail's Party. Very well acted. Seats very comfortable, good leg room, acoustics and sight of stage.

Gorgeous and camp old fashioned theatre, great programme this year. So much nicer than the soulless Congress next door which is currently closed. Need more people on bar duty though!

An excellent and very funny play. What a lovely theatre, such atmosphere and many of the staff working there are Friends of Devonshire Park Threatre, doing a stint for nothing. A seat in the Dress Circle front row and you have an amazing all round view of the stage.

We went as a family for my daughters first trip to the theatre. I am so happy it was in such a lovely traditional theatre. The show was great too. She wants to go every week!

We went to see "A Judgement in Stone". The theatre is not big and the facilities could do with some tender loving care (for which plans are afoot), but it gets good productions with great casts. Very enjoyable. The auditorium is beautiful - a masterpiece of this era of theatrical design.

This is a beautiful little theatre offering a wide variety of shows and plays. Well worth a visit when visiting Eastbourne just to admire the lovely interior of a Victorian theatre.

What a beautiful old tradition theatre. We went to see Rent the musical and what a fantastic show it was. Well worth the money.
We sat in seats D16/17 in the stalls and had great sight lines. The sound quality was excellent. The seats were comfortable and offer good leg room.
The inside of the theatre is beautifully elaborately decorated with a gorgeous dome roof birth in the foyer and in the restaurant. It's not a big theatre more on the cosy side, but lovely.

The Devonshire Park Theatre is a very traditional Victorian Theatre. However, the seats are comfortable and there is enough leg room for the majority. It could do with a lick of paint and some of the ornate plasterwork needs re-touching, but this is nit-picking. All of its flaws add character.

I saw "Rent: The Musical" and it was absolutely superb. So moving I actually left in tears. The cast and crew of this touring production did an amazing job.

The only let down was that the theatre was half empty which is a shame considering the excellent quality of the show. However, it was a week-day matinee I attended and I was told by one of the very friendly ushers that the evening performances were nearly sold out. On that note, I'd recommend going to this theatre in the evening to add to the atmosphere and build-up before the performance.

Regular visitor to this theatre from beyond Tunbridge Wells. It is worth the drive. Their shows are always first class. The pantomime this year was again hilarious and the first with the grandchildren.

There is no better place to sit and watch a Murder Mystery than in the Grand circle of the Devonshire park Theatre, Recently given a face lift this small and perfectly formed theatre is a joy from the moment you walk up the little drive, get your tickets from the little ticket booth, get shown to your seat by the smart attendant, have a little GT at the bar in the interval, and leave into the cold winter air having for a few hours been transported to another time and another place, a very big experience.

brilliant panto with so much slapstick humour. The theatre venue is wonderful too with still so much olde worde charm. The trio of Herbie, Prince Simon and Dotty had to be seen!! I laughed so much I nearly wet my pants!! Cant wait till next year.

Every year I take my family to the best panto I have been to every year its so very funny and we all love it. The theatre staff are all very friendly and happy.... But the production of Snow White was very disappointing, it was a very weird set up with the seven dwarfs and it was cringing to watch not as good as former pantomime's but apart from that it was as entertaining as ever and highly recommended

What a great night. Went to Snow White panto, 1st time at a panto for a long time, and wondered why we had left it for so long. All the cast were excellent and the theatre is beautiful.

We are very grateful to the staff who made sure we were able to stay and see the show despite our seats being unsuitable for us. They moved us to better seats and enabled us to have a great experience at the annual pantomime. It was one of the best shows we have seemn. Thank you to the lady who was front of house.

Really nice old fashioned traditional theatre. But was lacking a bar. Or at least we didn't find one

Fabulous theatre with buckets full of charm, like a forgotten relic from a bygone age. We've seen some great plays there. Do not expect modern. Expect the faded glory of the Edwardian era with more than just a splash of post war austerity. A must visit if you're in Eastbourne.
