The Devonshire does it best. If you need to find the Christmas spirit head this way. Each year a professional show aimed at all ages. If you are not prepared to join in don't go. The last night is always a blast!

Devonshire Park has some interesting touring productions and a variety of performances. Nice intimate theatre in central Eastbourne.

A lovely little theatre, straight form the West End.

Sadly in a little bit of a tired state but full of atmosphere all the same.

I wish we could all support these venues more, they deserve it.

They put on some lovely plays. Pretend you are in the middle of London if you go, without the rush of millions of people!

Been there so many times over the years and every time it is a pleasure to visit. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The seats are very comfortable with plenty of legroom. It is nice to have a bit of history surrounding you. Once upon the time you were able to have your refreshment served in your seat, however, health and safety ruined that!
Sincerely hope that it will last many years to come.

We happened to be in Eastbourne & saw a poster for a play (Cadfael) at The Devonshire Park Theatre.
The charming interior of the theatre is right out of the Edwardian era. It feels & smells wonderful.
The exterior is currently being refurbished & there is a lot of scaffolding along one side.
Typical of this type of theatre it is staffed by friendly, knowledgable volunteers.
An absolute gem of a theatre set in a town which is not short on historical gems.

Being a wheelchair user, going to the theatre can be a bit difficult at times. Not here however, a special entrance, a special dedicated space and caring staff make coming here a pleasure. Great shows too, in the past we have seen some very good shows and some first class acting. Everyone, whoever you are please support this wonderful venue.

Lovely theatre, friendly staff, good range of productions, many pre West End and all at non-London prices. What more could you ask for? Tea, coffee? Well yes, you can pre-order this for the interval of many performances. We rest our case.

A lovely old Theatre that often has pre West End Productions, with East Sussex prices!. It has a lovely feel to it. Recommended.

The theatre is very welcoming with a real old theatre feel, very friendly staff. Gotta sing Gotta dance was fantastic! A very small but hard working and dedicated cast, an excellent night out. I have given a 'very good' for the theatre. The show gets the full marks as 'excellent'.

Jenny Seagrove and Sara Crowe were brilliant in this great Noel Coward comedy. The most convincing drunks I have ever seen on stage - it was hilarious

Lovely theatre with very friendly and helpful staff. We saw The Wizard of Oz by the Eastbourne Stagers and it was a brilliant performance by all. Good location with plenty of restaurants just around the corner.

Excellent show full of energy from the whole cast.
The theatre is old but beautiful and is worth a look for its architecture alone.

Entertaining. Some good actors and reasonably priced. Walking distance from the Hydro Hotel. Would be nice if people watching were more considerate. Mobiles turned off and if you have a coughing fit, leave the room. This was our last experience.

Lovely old theatre - was only about 25% full on the Friday night which was a real shame. Great entertainment in an iconic building. Get a ticket if you're visiting or this theatre may suffer the same fate as The Brewhouse in Taunton (unless Eastbourne have a more enlightened local authority than they do)

Old fashioned theatre with lots of atmosphere. Comfortable seating and good accoustics. Interlude drinks well organised if a little (again) old fashioned!

The Devonshire Park Theatre is a lovely old style theatre with the red velvet curtains and guest boxes. You can order tea in the interval (or like me a glass of wine!). We attended a play last night which unfortunately was not to our taste but do go to this venue when it is showing something you will enjoy.
