Absolutely brilliant as always, even asked the driver if I could stand infront at the end of platform when unloading passengers to take a photo

Nice playground for kids, including wooden houses for then. Cafe prices quite high and ice creams are extortionate

We've been to the Eastbourne Miniature Railway a few times when they have been allowed to open during the current situation.

The times we have been I have been impressed with the fact that the staff have gone around with sprays and wipes and cleaned everything they possibly could at regular intervals.

They have a sign up on the snack shack (not sure if that is what they actually call it) to say how many people are allowed into the small shop at any one time.

When you have a go on the steam trains, the guys that run it are very good at making sure that people are separated correctly as per the social distancing guidelines.

All in all, the kids love this place, they sell a decent cup of coffee (£2 if I remember rightly) and a decent range of snacks for the kids.

I would recommend getting the membership as they're not expensive and they pay for themselves after 3 or 4 visits.

It's a nice place to go for a day out IF the weather is good! There is no indoor shelter, everything is outside. The train is good fun for the kids to ride, a pain when the queue is long in the summer as young kids don't like to wait. But there is a nice walk with several parks and other park like bits for the kids to do. The price for food and drink is what you'd expect.
Parking is okay.

Excellent for families with young kids. There is a separate under 5s play area with lots of little wendy houses and there are other smaller play areas sorted around the footpath which circles the lake. Thwre are also model railways and a mini railway with ride on trains and a great little cafe. Excellent covid safety measures. Highly recommend it. Will be going again!
