Great little trip for young and old alike. Plenty to keep kids occupied for a couple of hours or so, with some great play area space, plus of course the miniature steam engine rides! Nice cafe on site with a good varied menu, reasonably priced! Well worth a visit!

Excellent attraction for families. Beautiful lakeside walks, well thought out play areas with lots of Wendy houses for toddlers and a latching gate. Feels safe and well organised. Excellent Covid measures. Good value for money.

Wonderful day. Great play area, especially the little play houses. Maze didn't disappoint, yummy toasties and Grandma's garden for a moments rest.
The star is the Steam Train journey around the lake with a tunnel and all. The driver was focused and the guard was ensuring social distancing was adhered to, but welcoming everyone on board with a smile. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Can't recommend this enough. You have to go.

Such a lovely place in Eastbourne for family day out, better for smaller kids though up to 5 years old in my opinion. The ride by mini train takes about 10 mins but then there is plenty things to do, playground separate for toddlers and bigger kids also you can take a walk around the place, next to the lake, in the woodlands. They have small cafe serving paninis, jacket potatoes and the prices are reasonable.

Had a lovely day at the Eastbourne’s Miniature Steam Railway. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The place is very clean and tidy. There is plenty to do with a toddler. The food was great and served very quickly. The lovely coffee needs a special mention. The trip on the railway is of course the highlight! Thank you EMSR. We will be visiting again! 10/10 from us!

We had a simply brilliant day here with family friends and our 4 children under 5. Kids had several goes on the steam railway and enjoyed the little walk with playgrounds on the way, waving at the trains, getting lost in the maze and playing in the numerous playgrounds.
Staff were all lovely, the place is kept spotless and staff were very thorough with the cleaning. Food from the cafe was beautifully presented and all very reasonably priced!

This is just such a lovely place for young children. Great parks, one for toddlers and one for older children, lovely train ride around the lake. A few miniature railways set up you can make go round for 20p. All food and ice cream is very reasonably priced. Lots of wooden play houses which my daughter loved. It's a nice simple family day out.

Great place to take the kids and grandkids. As well as the train rides there are cafes, a gift shop, playgrounds, picnic areas, a large lake and countryside to explore. A year's membership costs £20. Kids were given free creme eggs by the easter bunny. Check out their website.
