This is a nice seaside pier and entrance is free. The entrance has the usual fast food and candy floss type shops and is topped with a splendid click tower.
Closest to the land there is plenty of seating and further out is the usual dance hall type venue.
The most important thing about the per is that it is done out in the traditional style and well maintained. From the end you get a good view of Eastbourne in either direction and there is seating so you can watch the day go by.

At least it had an arcade on it and a gift shop and several places to 8 including an old Victorian tea shop unlike Hastings which basically had not a lot
