A nice place for a walk and seagulls watching. There's a cafe in the middle, which is quite cosy, too.

Revisited my birth place with my parents on my visit to the UK. It's undergone a lot of changes since I was little but still as enjoyable now as it was back then. You can't beat a pier in a seaside town.

Rebuilt after the fire of 2014 this is a classic old school style pier whilst retaining many original features, sadly the camera obscura is inaccessible to the public.

Very clean, lots of room, family friendly, with amazing views of the sea and town.
The pier is accessible.
The pier looks well maintained, with lots of amusements and shops such a glass work shop and a souvenir shop.
There is a Victorian tea room with lots of character and friendly staff.
There is off road parking around the area (mostly paid for) and there is also a frequent bus service.
There are public toilets which were fairly clean.
The pier is very safe, railings around it are high and looked well maintained as well.
