Lovely pier the views are great you can see for miles on a clear day up to Beachy Head cliffs and over the sea to Bexhill.
Pier is a nice walk with the rear of the pier having a fab seating area right on the end practically in the sea. Amusements along the pier and at the end will keep the kids entertained but are limited.
Positives - great walk, great views, lovely glass blowing demonstrations and some nice little shops, amusements for the kids.
Negatives - shops are pricey especially the food shops, some amusements didnât work and there was no one around to help.

The pier is a great place to hangout! It offers video game parlour and an amazing open market. Do try the strawberry stand in summers. One can decide to attend one of the many live performances to make the night more entertaining

It is anice place for a walk but we picked a really windy day and not very pleasant. There is a lovely Victorian Tea Room on the pier. And plenty of slot machines if you're into that sort of thing.
