Nice sight, but we had bad weather. There is a bus stop at the pier from which you can get to the lighthouse.

In a county that REALLY loves piers, this is one of the better ones not as tacky as some and not as semi derelict as others

No better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than a walk along the front then on the pier and back

Having grown up in the town the pier has been a constant feature of Sunday walks. The latest incarnation is a little confused with the nightclub serving as a video games arcade but still with the nightclub fittings in place. Unsure why classic zinc roofing has been painted gold and what the new structures (under construction) will be. I hope it becomes a feature of the seafront but returns to its Victorian heritage in the way it’s presented.

Its always nice to sit down and enjoy the view, miss the old shops But they build it perfectly after the fire, maybe the get new shops in the future. You can see a lot of the hotels on the boulevard,Real beautiful to see

Did a walk around the pier on Saturday 7th December 2019. Nice fine day so the walk was pleasant. Unfortunately the pier is like many others, dominated by slot and amusement machines. Best bit is the Victorian tea rooms which look really good and worth trying out.
