Weather was kind the day we went and a turned out to be a good place for a bracing walk with a bag of chips - has be to be done at the seaside.

Definitely a tourist destination meant to entertain kids, but a nice walk along the railing was welcome on a beautiful day. Very windy! I came to Eastbourne for the Seven Sisters, so this was just a quick stop to explore. It wouldn't be a destination for me otherwise, but glad I made a visit.

I always pass though this pier and with the new management it is making great changes regularly . I enjoyed my last visit greatly.

This is my second favorite pier. It’s quite clean and people are friendly. It’s fun when the waves are choppy. It's not dog friendly, but there is a really cute cafe and cool bar.

The pier is apparently under renovation so there wasn't a lot to see other than an amusement arcade, a rock shop a chip shop & a pub. Everything looked tired & dated but a summer visit might show it in a better light.

Stayed in Eastbourne for a couple of days and the Pier was a short stroll from our hotel. The weather wasn't great, but it was dry on so we had a really pleasant stroll across the beach and along the Pier in the morning - which I think is the best time to go.

On a cool November morning I walked round the pier before having a nice cup of well earned hot chocolate at the only cafe which was open mid-morning. Pleasant staff and colourful decor. One or two gift shops open, including one which sold an excellent variety of sticks of rock!

Was a bit chilly for us this time in novemberLovely place if you have the nice weather eastbourne is lovely great for elderly people because it is very flat and it's a lovely walk along the prom and you can get a bus into Brighton witch also has a lovely pier and then you have the lanes but it does get very busy

This Pier is worth a visit when in Eastbourne and walking around. Great views from the end and whilst the burned amusement building was not replaced, there is still plenty to see and do on the pier itself.

Not much to see or do. Small cafe and a sepearte bar. Not many piers around so from that point of view it was nice. However, the rest old tired and disappointing.

This pier feels as if this is all there is on there. 3 separate areas just slot machines. Small gift shop and tea room, definitely lacking in something different to interest tourists and locals alike.

We went to play the 2p tipping point machines and found that there were at least 4 rooms with sloth machines and amusements plus cafes and gift shops. The weather wasn't very nice so everywhere was quite busy, The pier is well maintained and views of the town, sea and beach are all great. Only complaint was the majority of 2p machines had "toys" that were impossible to win and there were no attendants to be found anywhere.

Lovely pier just to stroll along, listening to the piped music, looking out to sea, looking inland, visiting the Victorian Tea Rooms (with gorgeous chandeliers!) or just playing on the amusements.

Visited the pier on a windy saturday afternoon! Not to much on the pier, but nice Victorian architecture. It certainly blows the cob webs away and you always have the amusements to go on if the weather is to bad!!

Enjoyed wandering to the end of the pier in the sunshine. Had afternoon tea several times, old fashioned but seems right for Eastbourne. Sunday afternoon, good weather and listening to the Salvation Army Band. Chatting to complete strangers who were also enjoying the Sunday afternoon entertainment. Nice to have some where to go that doesn't charge entrance fees.

So sad that piers don’t really seem to have a function anymore. Some of the buildings on the pier are truly wonderful, but they are used to sell low grade tat and unappealing food. Times have moved on and they really need to up their game to compete with the much better offerings along the seafront and in the town. There are also some amusement arcades, do we really still need grab machines that don’t grab? Why not fill the up with vintage arcade machines for the 1950s experience instead.

It is a good job we didn’t have to pay to go on the pier, as we were very disappointed. The boards were incredibly slippery and covered in green mould which needs to be cleaned off. Part of it was screened off for repairs and loud music played for no other reason than to draw you into yet another arcade. It had a dying look to it and parts are very rusty and need repairs urgently. There was a Victorian tea shop which is probably its saving grace. Otherwise very underwhelmed by the experience !

Very pleasant trip to the pier and especially the Victorian tea rooms. Eat a scone with cream and jam and watch the waves crashing against the shore. Service is excellent and food first class. Relaxing atmosphere. Loved it!

Pleasant place to have a stroll with a good Victirian tearoom where you can have a cream tea for £4.50.
