Very well restored after the fire. As you go onto the pier, it widens out now with tables and benches, very good unless people are eating fish and chips. Sat watching people with amusement, will they never learn.

Visited during the Eastbourne airshow with my brother and were surprised to be invited up to the top of the pier where the camera obscura was open to the public . Lovely pier with a tea room , bar and no noisy arcade

A stroll along Eastbourne pier gives you a different perspective of the Eastbourne coast line. The is a pub at the end, tea room half way along and loads of benches to rest and take the world in! We got chips from the Pier Chippy - very nice!

Came here on the bus which parked near the entrance. Recently restored this iconic British attraction was free to enter and has a great Victorian tea room

There is 3 small arcade rooms and 1 large Evade at back. No much on the pier. Tea room looks nice ....

Unlike some other English piers, Eastbourne is free to enter. It has great views of the beach and esplanade

Much more could be made of the space but not to make it tatty and cheap some small stalls selling fresh seafood or small stalls of fruit or ice creams but please no tat it would spoil it for what it is

This is a beautiful Victorian Pier...of course worth a visit. However the facilities are very poor and should be improved. There's a decent fish and chip place near the entrance...though not as good as Qualisea up the road. There is a tea room...very tacky and expensive...but worse of all is the Pub at the end! Filthy toilets and tables, the selection of drinks is hopeless...no real ale...no decent beers or interesting craft beers, awful lager, terrible wine...a few bottles of cider maybe...extremely lazy and obviously could be so much better...therefore busier. During the week they just cant wait to close...you do not feel welcome after 4-5pm. And the dreadful music through the tinny Tannoy system on the entire Pier should be scrapped. What's wrong with the sound of the sea?!! The best room being the upstairs bar/reception room is not open to the public and is now rarely used, even for corporate functions. Shameful.

Was ok but not loads to do on this one compared with other piers. Needs a bit of freshening up but a few arcades

We visited the Victorian Tea Rooms twice for lunch during our stay in Eastbourne. All the items on the menu were very good value for money. Our sandwiches were freshly made and there was a good choice of fillings. The gentleman who served us was very jolly, friendly and spoke to everyone in the tea room to make sure everyone was happy with their food. We tried a scone and it was lovely. Although we didn’t have Afternoon Tea it was extremely good value and there was a good choice of sandwiches and cakes.

Not much to do on the pier and most of the machines in arcade don't work. Very small scattered arcades too but again hardly anything works. Chips are nice on there though if you don't mind being mugged by seagulls in the open seating area.

Lovely pier, loads of seats, tea and cake places, amusement, shops and not a rip off, ice creams, typical holiday souvenirs, but not overpriced. There was some maintenance work going on at the end of the pier, but didn’t affect the enjoyment of the visit.

We have been to Eastbourne Pier a few times, there are amusements as well as a gift shop, rock shop, a lovely tea room, fish & chips and ice-cream, Children will be kept entertained all day, especially with the beach close by . There are plenty of seats for you to just sit and relax whilst enjoying the views.

Eastbourne has a pier like Brighton but is much less busy and touristy. From sitting on the boardwalk and eating ice cream from Celly's to walking past the lovely flowers towards Beachy Head or to taking the choo choo train or taking a dip in the sea, or listening to a famous band at the Bandstand, or to going for a community fair, Eastbourne has a range of activities lined up... The ride from Brighton is rather long but the view is lovely. The 13x will get you there from near the Sea Life Centre.
