Nice enough, as far as pier's go. Usual slot's. Nice little Victorian Tea Room, lovely cream tea and not costing the earth. Shame that they have banned fishing off the pier though.

It was a beautiful day in February, its a nice looking pier from a distance but obviously nothing was open this time of year

If has seating & places to eat.

I go to quite a few seaside towns & in relation to other piers I have visited, there is nothing wrong with it but its nothing special.

If looks over a featureless sea & is fronted by hotel after hotel after hotel.

If you are in the area visit it but don't make a special trip to see it.

Great in good weather otherwise very windy. Has a bar at the end where you can sit inside/outside and a few shops selling souvenirs.

Really disappointed in this Pier, very few attractions, it seemed to have an oriental theme going on which I didn’t feel fitted in with the history of the pier. We did have a drink in the sun but nothing else to amuse ourselves with. Won’t be rushing back.

The pier is free to enter and is a good well-kept pier with plenty of seating, although this time of the year it was very quiet. The pier has the usual mixture of cafes, amusement arcades and various types of slot machines. There is also a glass blowing shop on the pier. The far end of the pier was out of bounds for some reason. The views along the coast are amazing.

Sweet local pier. Nothing of particular note. It the town would not be the same without it. We will return!

In my view the pier needs a little bit of love but saying that it was in January and the weather was very cold but if you go on the pier there is a lovely shop selling beautiful glassware which they make in the shop.

When visiting Eastbourne I strongly recommend a walk out to the pier. It has been updated and modernised sympathetically which the using array of eating establishments, arcades and seaside shops. Far reaching views to Beachy Head and Hastings will enhance your enjoyment.

I was really surprised by how lovely Eastbourne was and how attractive the pier is. We stopped by for a visit after walking in Seven Sisters National Park. The pier has lots of little shops (the sweet shop sells the best aniseed twists!) and also a fish and chip shop. We were also lucky enough to see hundreds of starlings all dancing in the sky over the pier. Definitely worth a visit.

An excellent location for a walk with nice views and lovely sea air. Lots of seating and just enough attractions to keep it interesting without being tacky.

Despite the cold and wind I had a nice walk and it helped me relax.

Very well maintained pier and a lovely walk on a winter day.
Typical pier attractions and a fun activity for the family.
So good to see this Eastbourne attraction being cared for.

. . . . And it's free to do so. Delightful views of the seafront. Not as many attractions as before the famous ( sorry, infamous ) fire. A number of shops though, an excellent cafe, and a large Jazz bar. Well worth a wander.

Sorry to say that this is a reflection of a deterioration of the English sea side. Needing maintenance and decent attractions.

Days of entertainment at the end of the pier has almost gone. Now slot machines,. Bingo , cafe and good clean toilets. Glad it's still there and with two busy theatres there isn't much chance of vaudeville now.
