During our stay in Eastbourne, we visited Eastbourne Pier on Tuesday 21st August, 2018. The views from the Pier are really good. There is plenty of seating and various attractions. These include a nice Victorian Tearoom, souvenir and gift shops, amusements, ice cream parlours. There is also a Jazz and Blues Club at the end of the Pier. Overall the Pier is very clean and well maintained. It's a place for all ages and very relaxing. If visiting Eastbourne it's certainly worth a visit.

Stayed in Eastbourne overnight and went onto the Pier a few times. Lovely clean Pier with plenty of seating and lots of amenities to include a lovely tearoom, shops to buy gifts and icecreams, amusements and a jazz and blues bar at the end which was very relaxing and played some lovely old time music. Hope this Pier doesnt ever change its lovely as it stands and well worth a visit if in Eastbourne.

We had a quick walk along the pier and back. It was very busy, had amusements and plenty of tables with people enjoying a drink in the sunshine. There were 2 shops selling the usual holiday gifts! Worth a visit!

I would recommend a walk along the pier to anyone on a trip to Eastbourne. It's great fun, especially on a warm day. Good pub at the end to pass an hour in.

This traditional pier is nice to walk along to then look back onto the coast in both directions. The views are worth going for.

There are a number of fairly tacky games arcades on it, but there are also cafes and a bar.

Good eateries and amusements. Night club. Excellent glass shop models made in shop competitive prices. Usual fish and chips, ice cream and doughnuts.

Great place to see the airshow. As there are so few outlets on the seafront (land covenant I understand) the pier is ideal for a pint (pity about the plastic 'glasss' and large bag of F&Cs.

Pier looking good - the gold trim looks good and makes a really nice statement. Iconic part of eastbourne and has created a nice ambience for itself. Worth a visit.

Pier very clean with great views.

Feel safe and lots of great picnic benches on pier to eat your own food or sit and relax.
Few arcades which are great for kids, which were clean. Great variety.
Chips shop on front of pier is reasonable priced and very tasty not greasy at all, in great wrapping. Enjoyed this treat .

Nice few little shops with pleasant helpful staff and Victoria tea room which we didn’t go in but looked lovely and great for something a little more special with tea and china.

Lovely views from end of pier can see a distance and it’s magnificent. Seating around pier benches are clean, more seating outside around bar area.

Bar is a little tacky and not so clean needed a little more looking after. Staff not welcome and were miserable and were more concerned in taking to each other than serving customers and doing their job. I lm a single mom with 2 children aged 15 and 10 with my daughters friend aged 16 and was very uncomfortable with the staff at bar and this normally would not be a problem. After leaving the bar area to take our seat looking over the girl was stood biting, chewing her nails we found this disgusting as she is serving and touching glasses.
Toilets in this bar was dirty with all sorts on the floor.

Very iconic to eastbourne but after the fire isn't the same, still worth a visit to the arcades and restaurant. Also the view is great.

Earlier in the day we'd taken a walk out on Brighton Pier as our first example of an English pier coming from Australia and it seemed a bit of a noisy schemozzle! Eastbourne Pier was far more elegant by comparison and a much nicer experience for us at least.

Had a nice walk around the pier, there are arcades dotted around and the tea rooms also. Could do with some refurbishment in places but in the main it was pleasant.

Well kept pier, nice fish and chips in the entrance, a few gift shops and the best amusements I have been to at any coast. Found it hard to lose my pound on the two pence machines , great for the kids.

Lovely hour and a half with friends on the pier. Nice walk along, was looking clean with seagulls desperate to find a stray chip or2!!! Most of time spent in 2p slot machines, just lime playing " Tipping point" without having to answer any questions!! We had a great time ( friends 50th day out) and came away with lots of keyrings and money left over!! Some machines did need mending/ adjusting but still plenty to play with. Great nostalgic time.
