Nice enough hotel.
Disappointed with reception not taking a couple of minutes to show how to get up to third floor given that the main lift was out of order and the main stairs only go to second floor.
The single room was clean and nicely laid out. Shower was good.

The Hydro held my mum's wedding reception on Saturday. The atmosphere was great with lots of great opportunities to take wedding photos. The staff were great and were very professional. I'd like to thank. Those who were working Saturday for helping make my mum's special day a brilliant one

Old fashioned and classy Hotel. Open to non residents for lunch or tea. 2 course lunch for £14.50 is good value and decent food. The large coffee bar has lovely views across the croquet lawn towards the sea. The bar offers only one real ale Harveys at £4.30 a pint, but that's one more than the Grand Hotel down the road which has none.
