Superb. Lots to do and not to feel apart so not too much walking. Recommended for kids and adults

Brilliant day out. Not really one for thrill seekers. Pay extra for go karts and bungee trampoline.
Make sure you arrive early. Food and drinks reasonably priced.

My kids love knockhatch. We visited last summer(2020) and was very impressed with the restrictions in place. We have just visited today and I am shocked at the lack of safety measures in place. COVID is very much still around and I cannot believe how there were no restrictions. Nobody was bothering to use the hand sanitizers. So many children in the pillows it was a safety issue. To many people which spoilt the day out. The kids still enjoyed it but won’t be going back in a rush. Such a shame!

The meerkat experience was incredible and completely made by the young lad who led it. My 14-year old son absolutely loved it, and I really enjoyed it too :) The three meerkats are adorable and so friendly. We got to hold and stroke them, feed them and play with them. Amazing!

The reason I haven't given it 5/5 is due to the rest of the park. Firstly, I had a lot of trouble booking it, since purchasing for my son's birthday back in Dec 2019, due to Covid. I felt the booking process didn't work and I made several phone calls and emails to finally get it arranged. I understand that they were exceptional circumstances though.

After travelling almost three hours to get there, it was a very warm day and the park was very busy, so the overflow car park was in use. The entry was a little disorganised and we were panicking that we'd be late for our experience and not be able to have it, due to the long queue of cars to get into the park, then walk and queuing in person. The young lad on the entrance hatch was super chilled about it, so we had no reason to think there'd be a problem. He did advise us that we could've skipped the queue though! It was not obvious and didn't say anywhere so a lot of stress and hassle could've been prevented in my opinion.

We were directed to walk around the side of reception and stood around for another ten minutes waiting to be served. The teenage girl behind the desk was swamped with customers and clearly needed help serving everyone. She was a bit stressed and quite short with me and advised me that we were late so there might be a problem. I explained that we had been waiting three times now which had made us 15 mins late and we had actually arrived at the park early, as advised, but did not anticipate how busy it would be. It was all actually fine in the end, as the guy who met us, took us to the experience and led it was brilliant.

After the experience we walked around the park and were quite disappointed that there weren't that many animals to see, that we couldn't feed them due to covid-restrictions, and that most of the attractions were for younger children. It was very busy and we gave up queuing for a couple of attractions as the queues just weren't moving and there were lots of crowds (not ideal at the moment).

We opted for an ice cream in the Waffle Hut (no waffles available!) and the queue took forever to move. It wasn't hugely long but the girl on her own serving was very slow.

Overall we did really enjoy our couple of hours at the park, but the highlight was definitely the meerkat experience. The rest of it was good, but I do feel they need to limit numbers of people and increase/improve some of their staffing.

Not much for teens. But the go karts with my cousin who lives 300 miles away so I never see him, was amazingly fun. It was so cool racing him. Would be better if a little contact was allowed with people you know but it put a smile on both of our faces. I was also super scared of going on the wave rider and the guy had to calm me down, but I loved it 👍. Thank you Knockhatch

Absolutely loved this place. Visited with my husband, younger sister , brother in law, niece, eldest daughter, son in law and two of our grandkids. The entrance price didn't break the bank. There was loads to keep the kids amused . They all loved chicken run . The Dragon castle was amazing, as was wave runner. We all enjoyed the enchanted forest golf and the boating lake with the big mouthed fish. The weather was better than expected and the day went far too quickly. Will definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful day today even though it was very busy. I am leaving a review though because I was astonished to find 3 gambling machines amongst the kids video arcade in the Dino Safari. I cannot fathom why the owners feel this is appropriate when normally they are restricted to pubs and roped off areas in service stations. This is a venue completely aimed at kids and putting those machines in there dangerously normalises gambling. It's completely inappropriate and irresponsible of the owners. If someone is that desperate to gamble that they can't have a kids day out without it I would add that this is yet another reason why they shouldn't be there. I would welcome a public explanation of why the owners think this is appropriate and ethical.

Fantastic day out. So much for the kids to do, we arrived when it opened and left at 5pm, and the kids wanted to stay for longer! We were a bit worried when we arrived and saw how busy it was at the entrance but the park is so spread out that it didn’t ever feel massively busy, especially compared to other attractions we have visited this summer. We are now saving up for season tickets!

Our tips would be

1) take your own food (plenty of
picnic benches),

2) when you arrive at the park, take the immediate left when you go through the gates. Most people seem to miss this shortcut and this side of the park was definitely much quieter in the morning.

3) Arrive around 9.30 to get a parking space close to the gates and be near front of queue when it opens.
