Stayed at langham hotel as a late anniversary break with my wife
What can I say,I booked a room with four poster bed and sea view wow
The view was stunning sitting in the large bay window looking out to the sea
enjoying a glass off Prosecco,we then had a superb meal in the restaurant
downstairs, all in all,we will definitely be going back

We have been taking a group of 30-40 friends to the Sunday Jazz lunch every six months for the last seven years. The food, as always, is excellent. The service is very good with plenty of staff to ensure all goes well. The music was very good which added to the overall ambience. Everyone enjoyed the lunch and the social occasion. Well done once again!!!

I have just spent five nights at The Langham Hotel with a group of 25. This hotel is brilliant, the rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful, polite, friendly and efficient. The food is outstanding, good size portions, flavoursome and beautifully presented. We have already booked for next year.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at the Langham with Buckleys coach tours, great hotel, very clean rooms and throughout the hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable seating areas and reasonable bar prices, food was exceptional good choices, breakfast good too would definitely stay there again

Well looked after from start to finish. Good welcome, room was amazing, junior suite with seaview. Very clean, large bed, big room, walk in shower, seats and table looking out over the sea, tea/coffee facilities etc.. Listening to the sea as you nod off to sleep was sublime. Very good breakfast. Not rushed. Can thoroughly recommend.

Had a room with a view, very clean and comfy, fabulous service in the restaurant and the afternoon tea was very special - the staff could not do enough for you and as I was looking for somewhere special and good value to cheer up my winter am absolutely thrilled to have found it. We stayed at the hotel for two nights, and enjoyed our stay very much, room very good with a sea view, all staff gave excellent service, food at breakfast and dinner also excellent. And we look forward to returning next time we are in Eastbourne

Spent 4 days at the hotel on a coach trip via G.B. tours.
So well appointed - food excellent - room first class - staff very attentive - and overlooking the sea too.
The only slight fault (for us) was the shower over the bath - we are used to a flexable head and this was a fixed head .............. just a small comment we got round it

Fabulous staff, attentive,obliging and professional.Best staff of any hotel in Sydney.
Lunch buffet excellent for all ages. Absolutely delicious with good variety. One of best buffets. Freshly cooked food at all food stations.
Wonderful meal experience.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful setting. Tables well spaced.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Langham Hotel, Eastbourne. Enjoyed our stay very much. As this was our first trip with our 15 mnth old baby we were a bit apprehensive. So glad we chose to stay at Langham Hotel. Staff were very helpful and polite and made sure all our needs were met with. Our room was clean and well presented with lovely views of the sea! We were provided with a baby cot as well. The restaurant serves lovely breakfast and the dinner was very good too. Will definitely be staying here again!!

A terrific location! Every member of staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fast, efficient and fresh. I can't rate my overall experience highly enough and look forward to my next stay.

Our room was bright and new and huge with amazing views of the pier and the sea. You could sit there for hours watching the world go by. Everybody in the hotel was helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was great, it felt like being abroad. Well done the Langham Hotel, you have a winning formula!

We stayed here for an overnight on our anniversary. From the moment we checked in until leaving the next day, it was a pleasure being in the Langham. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with a spotless bathroom, all beautifully decorated and maintained.
The service in the restaurant, both at dinner and breakfast, was faultless and all the food was perfect. Really can't praise the hotel enough.

Have stayed in Eastbourne before, this was the first time at the Langham. From the moment we checked in and until we checked out the service was warm, friendly and efficient.
The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of pillows (yaay!!) and complementary water and the most luxurious towels.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
My only negative comment, it would have been nice to more light in the shower area in the bathroom (but that's me!!)

Having family in Eastbourne i have passed this hotel so many times over the years and finally got to stay here over the last weekend of August. First of all massive praise to all members of staff, very friendly and helpful, a real credit to the hotel. I stayed in a single room which was clean, comfortable and suited my needs. The only regret i have is that i should of booked a seaview room (my fault as i was trying to save money). Breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the sea was brilliant. There was a couple of things that maybe could of been a bit better ( the kettle took ages to boil and the TV was a little on the small side) I only mention these to show that i'm giving an honest impression of the hotel. So overall a lovely place to stay and i'm very happy to recommend this hotel and i will certainly stay again ( hopefully seaview this time)

If you need a great place to stay in Eastbourne, then the Langham Hotel is the one to go to. We picked a room with a seaview, and it was great. Everywhere so clean and tidy, and the staff are credit to the hotel - super helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace as it was a really lovely hot day. We couldn't fault this hotel at all - even down to the parking. Thank you for looking aft us and we look forward to staying with you again.

We travelled to Eastbourne to see relatives and could not have chosen a better hotel. Everything was first class, from our beautiful sea view room to the wonderful staff and fabulous food. Nothing was too much trouble and all the little touches made it special, for example bottle of water given on check out to us for our journey home. The hotel was full of character, but had all the modern touches. We would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend. Thank you to all the management and staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

This is a busy and popular hotel; it is the second time that I have stayed there. The food was good, though a little less good than last time. The room was comfortable, if a little tired. The service at the hotel is excellent, particularly in the restaurant.

We thought it was absolutely first class .
The Room was superb.
Very clean.
Food was delicious and reasonable priced.
The staff could not have been more helpful. Even supplying ice for my swollen knee.

We decided to stay locally following the birth of our daughter and I booked the Langham as a surprise for my wife.
The staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. I had booked a superior sea view room and this really lived up to expectations even eliciting a "wow" as we walked in. The room was spacious with high ceilings and a large bed (although it was a twin pushed together) with a small seating area in the bay window which has floor to ceiling windows.
The bathroom is large and beautiful with a large rain shower.
My only slight criticism of the room is that without air conditioning (it is an old building so I wasn't expecting it) or being able to open the windows very far it was very warm even on a cooler day. The other slight let down was a lack of pressure in the shower. This said it didn't detract from our visit at all.
We had our evening meal in the restaurant and the food was superb and great value. Again the staff outshone themselves and the service was fantastic, although we did get asked at least the same question twice each time by different members of staff.
Overall a great stay and one we would happily repeat.

We were on a bowls tour. Made to feel very welcome. The food was really good. Plenty of it. The staff were so friendly and very helpful and efficient. Cleanliness was spot on. Our room - 305 was quite large with a really big bed. No complaints at all. Well done to everyone at the Langham who made our stay very enjoyable.

Rapidly approaching bedtime on the sixth night (from 14) and I have been reviewing some adverse comments about the Langham on TripAdvisor. OK, I have a couple of insignificant negative observations that I shall mention next week to an appropriate authority, but I have nothing but praise for the Langham's staff, all of whom seem intent on making a stay here comfortable and enjoyable. If you have any doubts, bring your wife who can't breath too well, can't walk very far and is better suited to being pushed around in a whhelchair. The staff, all of them - without exception - are prepared ro go out of their way to assist. Restaurant meals and service in the bar to avoid the hassle of taking 'Erself to the restaurant! I could go on, but you will have got the message. Friendship and assistance from the top (literally) down. Gripe if you must, but moan at the Langham, not on Tripadvisor. You won't find much to moan aboiut - far from it. Try it - you know it makes sense!

Must in particular mention young Martin who served most of our meals, very good at his job and a credit to the hotel
