I had to stay overnight in Eastbourne for work so chose this hotel based on reviews. Was glad I did. I had a single room ensuite with seaview. My room has shower over bath. However having decided to have a bath I couldn't manage to make the mixer work to fill it up!
Had evening meal in restaurant good choices and waiting staff very good.
The breakfast was also excellent served in the conservatory facing seafront again plenty of choice.
I was happy to find I could get a newspaper delivered to my room and it arrived under my door around 6am!
I also managed to book one of the parking spaces available for £9. Was glad of that as it was raining when I arrived and the side streets were very busy.
A thoroughly nice traditional hotel.

Spent four nights over a weekend as part of a Ladies Festival which was fabulously organised and run but the resident owners Wendy and Neil Kirby. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful at all levels. The quality of the food at all meals including the formal dinner was superb. The choice was splendid and we chose well on each occasion. The entertainment provided on the Friday and Saturday was marvellous and a great talking point by all present. We enjoyed the benefit of a suite with a sea view which was a delight. It all amounted to a fabulous stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Had three nights in a very comfortable room and two things stood out - the quality of service and the excellent food. This is a hands-on managed hotel and it shows in the organisation and quality which was a pleasure to experience. The food was very nice, and very well presented. From the moment one got there, you were made to feel welcome. It was a pleasure to stay there.

We had a most enjoyable overnight stay at the Langham hotel. We were given a newly refurbished room which was beautifully done. The room was perfectly quiet and most comfortable. The staff are lovely, always ready to help. The breakfast in the conservatory looking out at the sea was a real treat.
Thank for a lovely stay.

Although the room was rather small the hotel was clean and well run. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food especially was excellent. We will certainly visit this hotel again in the future.

We booked a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, no need to say how many years but a certain home team won the world cup at wembley the same year.
The food was excellent- couldn't fault it. Dinner was a local lamb rump cooked just as I liked it, and my wife had salmon in a lovely sauce, we started with a tasty smoked salmon moose. Breakfast was a huge fruit salad, followed by a spot on English break fast including fried bread, and the vegetarian option was also much enjoyed. The staff were attentive and friendly with out being over the top or in your face. We had a sea view from both the bedroom amd the dining room which was great. A good room, good service and good value. We will be back

Stayed here for our Ladies Festival weekend March 2019. What a fabulous stay. Everything was organised by superbly by Neil , Wendy and their team. Beautiful, well appointed rooms, all our guests commented on how happy they were with their rooms. Food was delicious, from our tasty breakfast, lovely lunch and incredible gala dinner. We had excellent service throughout our stay, staff to be commended on their friendliness and helpfulness. The band that the hotel organised for us - The Rhythm Crew - was brilliant. All our guests said how much they enjoyed dancing and listening to them. Also a thank you to the toastmaster Bob, that the hotel organised. Our whole Saturday night went so smoothly thanks to this wonderful man. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. We will certainly be back.

Booked a 3 night break commencing 22 March 2019. Room was available on our arrival, on the second floor. Nice room , not very large but reasonable proportions. The shower room was modern and nicely decorated.
We had breakfast each morning in the conservatory which overlooks the sea. The breakfast was very good and was served quickly by the very good staff.
On the first night of our stay I booked dinner which was excellent.
All in all my wife and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Its reliably great, Hence, we always return, great food, great staff, great location, great rooms, in our opinion it cant be beaten !

Booked the room only the day before for a little overnight stay for me and my partner.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating, explaining everything and the breakfast was also very good.

I booked a superior double and I was not disappointed. The room was one of the newly refurbished ones and I could not fault it. Yeah we didn’t have a sea view but it really didn’t bother us due to the room being so nice, sort of like a boutique hotel room with the decor etc.

The only thing I will say is be prepared to look for parking for a while if you’re arriving late, but that’s not the hotels fault so they get 5*

I would definitely choose to stay here again

We were two local couples booking for an evening meal in the restaurant. We were welcomed as we stepped into the hotel reception. Our set priced meals (£25 for three course; £18 for two course) were excellent value and our choices from the a la carte menu included moules starter, ribe-eye steaks and vegetarian curries followed by an assortment of desserts including a selection of cheese and biscuits. Tea/coffee was also included.

Our sixth visit to a wonderful hotel which in my view is second to none . From arrival at reception staffed by the most polite people possible to clean , airy , wonderfully comfortable room and the great restaurant producing amazing food you would have to go a very long way to beat this hotel . The hands on approach of the owners delivers a constantly pleasurable experience , well done .

One night stay after gig at Bexhill .
Good value and no sense that it was out of season. Clean and quiet room , silver service breakfast and a view of the sea , what’s not to like !

Judging by the smiles on other guests faces we were not alone in enjoying our stay either.

on a bright and sunny sunday morning we decided on an early walk along the promenade and was in need of a coffee stop so stopped here which we do regularly but this time earlier but it was no trouble for the hotel;
we were informed later that it was the owner that served us which now confirms the very good/excellent reputation that this Hotel has.

What a wonderful time we had.....The Amberly Suite was beautiful and tastefully decorated with lovely thick drapes, plenty of drawers and a huge comfortable bed. The shower room was floor to ceiling tiled, with the most beautiful black and white tiles. We ate in the conservatory restaurant both nights of our stay, the food was 'second to none' (complements to the chef) and the waiting staff were really lovely. Will definitely go again, and most certainly recommend to all our friends.

Stayed for one night at the Langham Hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed in there. Ample fresh large towels and toiletries. We had a two course dinner and breakfast. The food was wonderful and service was excellent. I would definitely stay again. It’s right on the beach front a short distance away from the pier.

Great very professionally run hotel. Sea view rooms are the best, restaurant has a good selection with the food preparation and presentation excellent. All staff are extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Location right on the sea front is ideal.
Third time my wife and I have stayed each time for four or five nights and have another three bookings of four nights each in the bank.

We were given a voucher from our grandchildren for our anniversary for an Afternoon Tea at The Langham Hotel.
It was a wonderful experience we were able to sit in the conservatory overlooking the sea.
The Afternoon tea was the best we have ever had with sandwiches, scones jam and clotted cream and a selection of small pastries, we couldn't eat it all and were given what was leftover to take home.
The staff are very attentive and friendly.
We frequently visit the Langham Hotel as we live a short drive away from Eastbourne and always enjoy the experience very much whether it be for a meal in the restaurant or just a coffee in the lounge area.

Returned for a 3 night stay, and found all of the staff friendly, efficient and seemingly very happy! Checking in was smooth and efficient. The First floor room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The walk in shower and washroom large enough for two people to use simultaneously and the bed was very comfortable. Had to use the fan because of the unusually warm weather, the room stayed warm even with window slightly open. The Restaurant provided a varied tasty menu and was staffed by an excellent group of waiters/waitresses under the leadership of Lucas. Michael in the bar was equally enthusiastic and efficient, constantly making sure we were comfortable. ALL the staff are to commended for friendliness with nothing too much trouble.
We will be revisiting at some point and we have no hesitation in recommending Langhams to friends and family.
