My friend Barbara's post funeral reception was held at the Langham yesterday. The staff were very attentive and the food was plentiful and delicious. My friends were all eating as I looked on enviously, until a plate of gluten free food arrived for me. A waiter had noticed that I had nothing and enquired why.

I attended a jazz lunch at the Langham. I parked my car on Eastbourne seafront with no problems and walked across the road to the hotel. The food was tasty and nicely presented. The jazz trio were good to listen to while chatting over lunch with my friends and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. After our meal we went into the bar area where we had our coffees until we were ready to leave. All in all, a very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

My second stay and always a pleasure. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room clean, comfortable and was perfect for what I needed. Short walking distance from the pier and town centre.
