Nice clean hotel food very good very friendly and helpful staff but shame about the room, very small for two people and the en suite - little more than a cupboard

I would like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Langham Hotel, the room was very clean and refreshed each day, the staff were very polite, welcoming and helpful and as for the food,, well the food was absolutely wonderful, well cooked and beautifully presented, if in the future I come to Eastbourne this is the hotel I would definitely stay in,,

Pot of tea, or cup of filter coffee and a flapjack for less than £2.50 seems to be highly popular order...ordering at the bar and then taking a number to be served at table...a pretty slow process, it has to be said. Queues at the bar can be irritating. That said, it is friendly enough, the drinks are good enough, the seating comfy enough and the vibe is good. Clientele is a mixture of ages and stages, but mainly older folk. A sun terrace overlooking the road and prom is not as bad as it sounds. Popular and low-level buzzy. Not at all bad. A friend stayed at the hotel part, and liked the food and staff too...Not sophisticated, but friendly and welcoming. One to have along with others in the repertoire of local cafes.

We have just returned from our Christmas break which was absolutely brilliant in every way.Our superior sea view room on the third floor was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean with soft white towels, dressing gowns, slippers, good quality toiletries, bottles of water and a well stocked tea/coffee tray. The food was fabulous with a very good choice at every meal time and nicely presented. Staff are first class nothing is too much trouble and everyone has a smile and always acknowledged us. Neil and Wendy Kirby the owners were constantly available all day every day working with their staff which was nice to see and they are both very approachable and happy to chat. We had very nice presents during our stay from the owners, Marks and Spencer toiletries, bottles of wine, chocolates, diaries, and lots more. A visit to the pantomime was also included taken by coach which was good fun.
This hotel although not the cheapest in Eastbourne is well worth every penny for the superb care and attention to detail. In fact we have already booked for next years Christmas package and so had quite a few other people staying there.
