We had a lovely meal here. I am coeliac and was immediately put at ease by the waiters knowledge of cross contamination. I had gluten free pasta with salmon & spinach which was delicious and a gluten free garlic bread. They were very aware of what was safe for me to eat and the whole Neal was delicious.

We were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked. We have been coming here for 15 years and the quality of service and food is still excellent. A fantastic selection of pizza toppings and there is now a vegetarian option of calzone! We will be back!

Had such a lovely evening here, despite being extremely busy the staff were friendly and the food arrived promptly. The pasta was very fresh and it all tasted like a touch of Italy had come to Eastbourne

Fitted us in by the window and the staff were perfect. Had the best carbonara ever and the lasagna wasn’t too bad either. Definitely recommend.

The bed Italian restaurant in Eastbourne... the staff .. it’s like eating with at your friends house... having been Italy many times and having extended family dinners .. this is the closest to that experience I have experienced in the UK

My friend and wanted to catch up and fancied Italian food. Warm welcome on arrival and the restaurant was busy and had a great vibe.
The food was perfectly cooked and presented well and delicious. Great service from friendly helpful staff. We felt like we were on holiday.
This is not to be missed as you will not be disappointed if you enjoy Italian food with the feel of being in Italy.

The loveliest staff always welcome us and remember what we like to order! The range of great pizzas is huge and gluten free base is actually nice for once! All starters are great too, I recommend the mussels and whitebait. Been visiting for years and always consistently great food with brilliant staff. Great value for money and can deal with large parties well.

This is an authentic Italian restaurant that offers a wide range of traditional dishes that are freshly cooked. The past is exquisite! Seafood dishes are also particularly good. Has a good selection of Italian wines and beers. It gets very busy (always the sign of a good restaurant), so booking is essential.

We took our son and girlfriend on their first visit to Eastbourne. We were not disappointed. A wide selection of typical Italian fayre with something to suit all of our different tastes.
There are so many good eating places in Eastbourne that to stand out must be difficult. Pomodoro e Mozzarella does just that. Well done.Weill certainly be going back.

Very high quality food. My number one pick for Italian food in Eastbourne. The service is amazing, quick but not too fast, so that you have enough time to take in the astounding decorations.

We went to Pomodoro for a family dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was excellent and great value for money, the service was spot-on with staff appearing at the just the right time, and they were very friendly. To top it off they joined in singing Happy Birthday to my wife as she was presented with profiteroles topped by special birthday candles. What a lovely evening!

A great restaurant with polite, helpful staff and an extensive menu. Just over £50 for 4 main courses and a couple of drinks.

My family visits this restaurant for every family occasion - birthdays, anniversaries, Mothers Day, Father's Day, etc. We've been coming here for years. So I think it's time I left a review.
Firstly, although my wife and I often dine here as a couple, more often we are there with the whole three generation family of thirteen. The excellent range of set menus means there is a choice for every taste and budget. The food is always of a high standard and the staff are always happy to cater for weird diets or fussy grandchildren. The range of value-for-money set menus means there is always an exciting choice to suit every appetite and budget.
The portion sizes are more than ample and you can find some more unusual items on the a la carte menu - as well as authentic Italian pizza, pasta, and more, on the set menus. Grilled sardines are my favourite and my wife loves the fish soup.Staff are always friendly.and attentive but I must praise two staff members in particular who have always given us excellent service. Mario and Pasqua are always good with the children and patient with the fussy eaters. They are attentive, very efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. They typify what is great about this place: amazing Italian service.
Pomodoro e Mozarella is a great place for family celebrations and quiet dinners for two.If you haven't been yet, go now. If you have been, go again.
If you like authentic Italian food with a nice bottle of red, you won't regret it.

This is a traditional neighbourhood Italian trattoria away from the main drag serving the community and holidaymakers alike. We received a warm welcome and a choice of tables. The atmosphere was buzzing although it was early evening in April and fairly quiet. The menu is extensive and encompasses all the old favourites from all over Italy. My husband was suffering from a bad backache and did not want to linger long so we just ordered main courses. He declared his spaghetti bolognese delicious and the waitress loaded him up with freshly grated Parmesan. My Milanese was perfectly cooked, with a lovely crisp breadcrumb coating, and the accompanying spaghetti Napoli was also first class with a lovely rich tomato sauce. However, after eating a few forkfuls my husband's back was hurting so much that he declared his need to return to our hotel and lie down; every time he leaned forward to shovel food into his gob he was wracked with a shooting pain. We asked for the bill sharpish while I managed to quickly clear my plate of the escalope and mixed salad. The manager came to enquire why we were leaving so promptly and when my husband explained, he said he wished he had known because he would have sent a member of staff to another nearby restaurant to get him a more comfortable chair to see if that improved the situation. He then insisted that the spaghetti bolognese would be removed from the bill, although my husband protested that the quality of the food was superb and our early departure was no reflection on the meal. We were most impressed by the kindness and concern of the manager and will definitely be returning for a leisurely three course meal as soon as we can. Five stars for food, service and ambience. Bravo and Grazie mille!

Ate here for the first time for a family birthday and would definitely go back.
We all had the 2 course set menu for £10.95 each which was excellent value for money. The pizzas are big and we did end up taking some away. It was a Thursday night and when we arrived at 8:00 it was packed which was a good sign. I’m glad we booked. Easy to see why it is popular though; great food, attentive service and inexpensive.
