Nice italian dinner in Eastbourne. Good branzino. The salmon ok and the saltibocca too. Thank you for this moment. Big tip deserved by the waiter

I have to tell you this restaurant is like you pulled them out from a TV Gastro show. The service is nice and quick, effective. Professional waiters and waitresses work together helping out each other's table as a team. Very attentive, carer service.
The meals itself a WOW!
Fresh, absolute fine dining, but the portions are great. Flexible chef is ok the change a bit regarding to your taste or whim.Delicious and the menu really has a wide range of choice.
Prices are ok, in balance with value.

Somewhere we like to go on special occasions. Such tasty food, good portions and friendly staff. Wide range of dishes and a good variety of vegetarian options. The deals on food are great too and cost effective.

My daughter and I enjoy Italian food, the service here was spot-on and the portion sizes quite good, the food tasty and presentation excellent. Although we were rather late in the day for lunch (about 2pm), there were quite a lot of other diners, which is always a good sign

We ate here as a family of 4 adults for 2 nights running during the Eastbourne tennis tournament and really loved it. The menu was expansive and the set menu very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and respectful. Cant wait to return.

My husband and I spent a week in Eastbourne recently and had lunch here. We have visited this restaurant before and have always had a very good meal. Staff very attentive.

A very friendly authentic Italian restaurant providing excellent service, food & value.
We chose the 3 course menu for under £15 which offered plenty of choice. All courses were delicious, particularly the sea bass. Very busy during Eastbourne tennis week - we were lucky to get a table & will be sure to book next year. Great atmosphere & good prosecco.

Simple quick Italian cuisine. Staff are not particularly friendly, just get you seated and serve you. The pasta dishes and fish dishes were good, pizza very average. £3.50 for 3 slices of bad garlic bread! Jokers.

Being not a great fan of Pastaaa I had to hope for alternatives...I was not
disappointed Those of our party who chose the Italian menu spoke very highly of it...so everyone was catered for and happy.

We booked this restaurant about three weeks before visitin Eastbourne, based on Tripadvisor reviews. It was busy when we arrived and it felt like we were an inconvenience to the manager who greeted us. We were taken down to the basement (having booked three weeks in advance for four people??) and given an OK table. Whilst we were looking at the menu we were told to move by another manager to a less suitable table, as they suddenly had to make room for a large party. We waited for a while to order drinks, and when we called the waiter over he was diverted by the manager to lay up another large table before he served us. The food was fine, but our drinks (ordered before the meal) did not arrive until after we had finished our starter. In short we had poor customer service from the managers, the waiters tried their best but were rushed off their feet and we felt like we were on a conveyor belt of people, with the main aim being to get as many people in with no consideration for the eating experience. We will not return.

I went to this restaurant twice on my mini break to Eastbourne and each time the food, service and ambience was excellent. It was very busy, as I guess people know how good it is, so booking is probably advisable. I only wish I lived nearer, so I could visit this restaurant more often !

Had an excellent meal there when visiting Eastbourne to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Friendly and attentive staff and superb value especially if you opt for the set dinner.
Food was tasty and attractively served in a lively atmosphere.
Definitely recommended/

went on a friday evening , it was good that we had booked it was full to the brim. Having said that the tables are not too close to each other and there was still room to move around the tables.
We selected from the 3 course menu both of us chose melazane as our starter. neither of us were disapointed; I really enjoyed the seafood pasta but despite wanting a dessert I could'nt manage the [anna cotta which looked lovely

There are two sides to this restaurant, the blue which is busy, buzzing and the cream which is quieter. I have eaten in both sections which use one kitchen between them so the food quality is the same. This time I went with my mother as a treat for her birthday, she had booked the table in the blue side as she prefers the lively atmosphere and it is one of her favourite restaurants that she used to bring dad to in his wheelchair before he passed away. We ordered Branzino alla livornese (pan fried sea bass) and Pollo alla milanese (crumbed chicken breast served with spaghetti) followed by Gelato misto (mixed ice cream) from the two course set menu which was served very quickly and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly, including the owner who was working just as hard as the waiters, helping to clear tables and chatting to customers. It was very busy, most of the tables were full, some couples, many families with children as it was fathers day but the staff seemed to cope well and the variety of food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious and well presented. We intend to go back there with my son and grandson in the Summer Holidays! Highly recommended.

Table booked, although very busy service was great. Nice pizza said the kids, bruschetta could've been more authentic but the ravioli was nice, I think there's nicer Italians around so I wouldn't return. Sorry..

This is the sister restaurant of Locanda Del Duca next door. The owner is a lovely man and always has time for customers. My wife and I have known him for many years. Pomodoro e Mozzarella is always buzzing. The menu is varied and they do some lovely pizza's. We arrived without booking and got a table. I would generally suggest booking, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. It always amazes me how busy the place is. Independent restaurants like this are a big step up from chains. Wonderful place.

I have been many times before and the food is always the same. Brilliant.
It doesn’t matter if your in a large crowd or just two of you. The service is always the same. Excellent.
Looking forward to the next time I’m there.

We love this restaurant - really family friendly and great food- authentic Italian dishes and really tasty too! Good wine selection and staff are happy to help and meet our special requirements. We'll be visiting again when we return to Eastbourne later this year.

By far our favourite restaurant in Eastbourne. Food is always very high standards and the staff are excellent. Lovely for myself and husband as great gluten free options. The kids meal is also excellent value for money.

Visited last Friday night. Very busy and noisy. Waited quite a while to be seen and taken to our prebooked table. The food was great as normal but we feel the service has slipped (last visit was the same). Not as attentive as before. Used to get offered extra cheese and pepper with meal then offered a Limoncello. Small things but these made it a good restaurant. Ended up going home for a coffee instead of ordering after meal as we could not hear ourselves.

Large, bright and airy restaurant. Good looking menu, wine list and plentiful, helpful staff. Reasonably well priced and decent enough. Really enjoyed the wines but thought the pasta dishes were rather bland and clearly not freshly made.
Shame as all the food looked good as you saw it coming past.

We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful restaurant, from the outside it looked nice but when we stepped in we realised how beautiful it really was. The ambiance was great and the light flooded in from the windows. The meal was fantastic and the service was excellent. Very good value for money!
