Felt a little disappointed on latest of many outings to Pomo. Both starters and deserts seemed poor value for money. The tiny scoop of ice cream on massive plate looks pathetic and was almost melted as it was placed on table.Sardines had the least meat on that I can remember. Maybe getting a little complacent. I hope for better value next time.

We visited PeM for several times over the past few years and it always served us well - professional, quick and efficient staff, huge menu to choose from, very tasty selection of food if chosen wisely.

1st visit in a group of 4 for a late lunch and was impressed. Huge menu with some set menus included. Good, efficient service. Food arrived promptly and was piping hot. All four of us had ordered different starters and mains and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Good value too. Tip - the mussels starter is huge and came with 3 slices of garlic bread so make sure you are very hungry or share this starter!

Have visited the restaurant a few times in the past. The most recent visit was to celebrate a family birthday. We had a large party which can sometimes be an issue with restaurants and timings.
No such issues here, all of our food came out together (within a couple of minutes) meaning we could all eat together, no awkward 'you start or it will get cold' required.The food is of good quality and piping hot, great choice and accompanied by a great drinks menu.
Would certainly recommend to visitors of Eastbourne.

Full of praise for this excellent restaurant and would eat here whenever we are in Eastbourne. Tribute to its excellence is that we went along on a Monday night expecting it to be almost empty and it was almost full! We ate in the overflow area but we were still treated just the same and the food and service were excellent. The fillet steak in a cream and brandy sauce was beautiful and excellent value. Very friendly without being obsequious. Highly recommended.

We have been here a few times but it seems to get better each time. We went on a Sunday evening and you need to book as it was very busy. We all had the fixed price meal and some soft drinks for three of us which came to just over £40 which is pretty reasonable. We all had pollo alla Milanese and it was delicious. For dessert I had crème caramel which was one of the best I have ever eaten. Lovely caramel sauce.
Service was good, even on a very busy evening. My only criticism is the noise level was very high so it was not easy chatting. Overall a very good experience.

It was a very busy saturday evening with some big parties in, but our food arrived in good time and was delicious. This was our second visit and it's a very reliable, huge portions and the staff are friendly and attentive.

We went along to the Italian restaurant and the food was amazing! The food was freshly cooked and we had the set 3 course meal which was very good. I love a good carbonara and my husband loved the lasagne. The desert which we ordered was tiramisu was also equally amazing! The food could not be faulted it was great!

I wish when we have telephoned they had said they only catered for large groups. I would not have been offended. That is what they cater for.
We went as a couple. We booked but no table reserved or ready. The owner made sure a table was quickly prepared. However, and this is so common in many places, as a couple,I really dislike being sat at tables 'in a row' so close to people who I do not know. I don't want to listen to their conversation and they mine. I want to relax. There were three tables in a small row. One couple already seated. So they seat us next to them rather than leaving the middle table free. Not thoughtful. Service. Not too great for drinks. We would normally order a bottle of wine but declined to as we were not as comfortable as we would have liked. We ordered more drinks with the main but very nearly cancelled them as they came when we had nearly finished our main. Variety of waiters wait on your table. One drinks waiter offhand. Service for food okay.
Food. Calamari okay. Mains, Pizza was seriously nothing special. Nice but not great. My pasta dish was seriously lovely. Atmosphere. For groups clearly lovely. Nice seating. Relaxed. Attentive and polite waiting. For us, slightly strained.

But, his dress, also, was by any stretch very casual. A holiday destination true, but some attempt by the restaurant to expect diners to smarten up (but not too formal ) for dinner would not go amiss. It might improve the dining manners you never know !

We happened upon this truly amazing restraunt during a family trip to Eastbourne during Tennis week.It was so wonderful we ate there every night without a reservation. Every dish we had was so tasty. Salmon cooked perfectly, all flavours complemented each other. My 10yr old picky eater ate almost an entire kids pizza along with pesto pasta and other delicious dishes. Presentation was lovely. The waiters work so hard and deserve big tips for their dedication and friendliness. Very busy every night but we were always seated and served immediately, with respect.. it certainly is not over priced for the quality of food. Well worth a visit. You will not be disappointed with this hidden gem. Thank you guys for such great service.

This was our 3rd visit, and know it is always busy, so wasn’t sure if they would have a table for the two of us. No problem, we were seated straight away. Although they were really busy, our orders were taken and our food arrived in no time. Plenty of choice on the menu, we even had desserts. Visit no 4 on the cards.

We stopped by here early evening on our way to the theatre. We were surprised to see how busy it was so early in the evening and by 7pm it was almost full. Our pizza and pasta dishes were generously sized and very good. Despite being so busy service was prompt. This place has a very friendly feel and was buzzing with family groups of all ages. A pleasant experience.

Four of us visited on 10th July for an evening meal. The place was really busy and had a great vibe. It was clear from the start this was going to be special - how many places are this busy mid week? Our impression was correct. Everything about the experience was fab. The food, the service, the ambience. The thing is there was an error in ordering, which meant that two of our main courses were wrong. The way this was dealt with was exemplary. The correct dishes were brought to us as quickly as possible. They clearly take customer service very seriously.
