Dinner with my hubby on Valentines Day. First visit to Sabaidee Thai Restaurant, chosen as it was close to the theatre. Very quick service with the drinks. We went for the set meal and it was all delicious. Beautifully presented (should have taken pics but just can't bring myself to do that in a restaurant!!). The staff were delightful. Complimentary Thai cocktail at the end of the meal. Not sure what it was but very pink and tasted good! We will definitely be eating here again - very soon I hope.

My hubby took me there last night for Valentines,it was decorated lovely with lots of red helium balloons,The menu has a vast choice and what we ordered was delicious ,couldn't fault any of it,and served piping hot,friendly staff,perfect timing between courses,wasn't expensive and clean toilets, ( im so fussy about that ) only one small downfall was tables quiet close together but then maybe thats because it was valentine and they were all set up as tables for two,had a lovely evening wasn't rushed cant wait to visit there again

Best this food I've ever tasted, small restaurant makes a big impact friendly staff and lovely food would def recommend this place to anyone visiting you might want to book though as it's only small and was super busy when we visited

Returned to Sabaidee. Warm welcome and drinks order taken quickly. I appreciate the order taken for the starter, Mixed starter, while we are contemplating the rather extensive menu. Chicken and cashew for me and chicken and chilli for my friend.
Added rice and noodles with chicken. Plenty for 2. Service through out the meal was good. This is in my opinion the best Thai in Eastbourne and certainly worth a 40 mile trip and an over night stay in Number 17 Wilmington square - see my other reviews!!

We regularly go to our favourite (local) restaurant in Brighton for Thai, so the Sabaidee had big boots to fill. However, we were not disappointed. The food was excellent. There were lots of choices on the menu including all the favourites and chef specialities. We had an absolutely delicious meal, and would thoroughly recommend the Sabaidee for food, and superb smiley service.

Staff very pleasant and prices reasonable. No major issue with food but the Dim Sum starter lacked what i would call 'Thai' flavours and Duck in Tamarind sauce was very average. The actual duck meat was minimal and was padded out by being breaded and the sauce was more a cold chutney. Perhaps we chose badly but can only judge on what we ate.

We managed to get a table here at short notice, especially being New Year's Eve we were so pleased.
The service is first class and the food I have to say is the best Thai we have had in Eastbourne and we have been to them all . This will now be our only place to visit when we want a Thai meal , can't wait to go back !! Making excuses for an occasion to do so Thank you for squeezing us in , we really loved our meal and service even though you were extremely busy

Pleasant ambiance (you can forget you are in Eastbourne in winter!), excellent service and good food. We had never realised how good this restaurant is until we went in as an experiment. We shall go again and recommend it when asked where to eat in Eastbourne.

I was there when they first opened in the evening. Everyone was pleasant and not pushy. I did not feel rushed. The food was delicious. I love the way they design the egg on the pad thai. Great find.

We went there as we were in need of something eastern & with a bit of spice, and seeing as it was around the corner from our hotel, it was an easy choice.
Certainly no regrets as the food and service (always important) were great. Being vegetarian, we were happy to see that most dishes were adaptable to us (most using Tofu in place if meat). We were also told no fish sauce was used in the dishes before we even needed to ask, which was reassuring.
We went back a 2nd night and this time took someone who'd never tried thai food before. Needless to say he was sold!
Both waitresses on duty were very helpful and always polite, so everything about our two visits was great.

Party of six including small child Christmas Eve. Everything we had was delicious. The staff were lovely. There's a king prawn dish with chilly and cashew nuts I will remember for some time to come. We will be returning

Two of our party were coelics. The waitress was very helpful and went through the menu pointing out which dishes were gluten free.
All of our selections were delicious with complex flavours. Not tasted as good since we were in Thailand. Extensive menu, value for money. Would return.

The quality of the food here was excellent, and hard to say anything that could have been better, we all had different dishes, all of a generous size . The service was very good, and we did not have to wait long between courses.

Went to this restaurant on Saturday (26.11.16) with friends to celebrate a birthday.
The atmosphere was really good all tables full and everyone having an enjoyable time.Although full the service was excellent and the food delicious - all I our party was happy with the food they had chosen.
we agreed that we would be making many return visits to enjoy further meals at this little gem of a restaurant.

We wisited this great restaurant today 27th of november for dinner. Food was excellent, last time I had food like this when I wisited Tailand. Beautifull cooked, frash ingridients, very good serwis. Highly recomended !!!!!! Lovely restaurant 🖒

This restaurant is small and intimate but big on service and food. We were gratified to find it open on Sunday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our eating out experience. The portions were so generous that we even took some food away to enjoy the next day. Will certainly be back!

On my recent trip to Eastbourne I visited twice. No problem at all to order take away meals. Delicious , hot and tasty food. Efficient service. Would certainly recommend. Lovely ambience for those who wish to sit in to dine as well.
