Excellent value food, beautifully served. Only two minor points, the beer could have been colder and the sirloin of beef dish, which was very good and extremely generously portioned was a little heavy on the rosemary.

Went here on a Saturday night, the restaurant was pretty full (glad I booked rather than just turning up unannounced), we had squid and mussels to start, followed by a king prawn yellow curry and Weeping Tiger. The food was good (and reasonably priced)and the staff friendly, thought this was one of the better Thai restaurants I've tried recently - highly recommended

I came here for a quick dinner before the theatre. Restaurant was quite busy at 6.30pm. Got a table and was served by a delightful waitress. The food and service was efficient and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and will definitely be back for a longer proper dinner.
Recommended.

I've eaten here with groups of friends before and it was excellent, so it was an easy choice for dinner on a solo trip to Eastbourne. Surprised to find it quiet on a Friday night, but then I was pretty early. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Portions generous. Happy to note that I didn't have to ask them to ensure there was no fish sauce in my meal - they volunteered the information (too often when I ask specifically about the use of fish sauce I find Thai restaurants put it in "vegetarian" dishes). Location very handy for the theatre. I will happily return to this restaurant.

If you like Thai, you'll likely enjoy Sabaidee. It's quite lovely with tablecloths and a casual vibe. Food is pretty basic Thai - they've got everything you expect. Portions were a bit small for a proper sharing so I'd order one more than you might normally if you're sharing at a table with others.

Back again. Just love this place. Starters - sharing platter never disappoints, staff are able to answer any question about the menu - just ask. Chicken wings were ok but not the best taste. Main courses Panag curry full of spice and had lots of flavour, pad med ma-muang chicken was amazing, we like plain rice, tried sticky rice tonight and not a favourite for us. Beers good, wine excellent. A range of puds -fantastica (2 spoons!!) was great. Great food, great service, great price - £85 starter, main for 3 one pudding, 3 beers AND a bottle of good wine. Booked in again for February (wish they were nearer !!!)

This busy little Thai restaurant in Eastbourne near to the theatres is delicious.
We went on a Saturday evening as a group of friends (3), we had mixed spring rolls to start with a plum and chilli dipping sauces followed by duck red curry, chicken green curry, pork with coconut and mango and pak choi.......all served up hot with sticky rice mmmmmmmmm, took me straight back to my visits to Thailand and Malaysia.Sweets were a little disappointing with a frozen selection as with Indians but I had the banana fritters.
Good value place with happy service by smiling servers.Less than £100 for three three courses and two bottles of wine

Visited Eastbourne recently with my partner for a few days and wanted to find a nice Thai restaurant. Based on the great reviews, we chose Sabaidee Thai and we were not disappointed! We had spring rolls to start which were very tasty, we both had a Thai curry for our main meal which was also lovely. It was a little more expensive than our usual Thai, but it was worth the money. If we were in Eastbourne again, we would probably come again. Thanks for a lovely meal!

A table for 6 booked for 8pm on a Saturday.A comfortable and friendly restaurant. Very attentive service, a nice choice on the drinks menu and an easy to read food menu. Good selection of Thai dishes and quite varied. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I would definitely visit again. Oh, prices were very acceptable which always helps when you're the one paying.

To all readers, I recommend to visit and have a meal in the specific restaurant, it's cozy, clean, and the food is amazing. In addition the ladies who were serving and taking the orders are very well informed about the menu and they're very respectful and professional
The price VS the quality and quantity of food is affordableWell done

My team had worked really hard all weekend so as a treat took them to this Thai restaurant recommended here and by a friend. Took the set menu and was not disappointed! Tasty and generous dishes with something for everyone; sweet pad Thai pork, spicy and rich chicken panaeng and absolutely delicious tamarind duck. Everyone left happy and full!

Friday evening was busy but they found a table for the four of us. We all had different duck servings which were ample, well cooked and delicious. I had with orange and others had with cashew nuts.

We had decided to have pizza and ended up in this Thai restaurant as a lighter option.
The room is small and the tables and chairs well set out. Their are some nice paintings on the walls. The menu is quite extensive with plenty of options for vegetarians. Also choices for those wanting something tasty but not spicy.
The food arrived fairly quickly after the order was taken and nicely presented. There was a bit of a wait for the bill as the restaurant had filled up by now. The staff were friendly and efficient with the waitresses wearing above the knee dresses in a Thai-style.

Yesterday (Friday) lunchtime my wife and I tried the Sabaidee for the first time, having just enjoyed visiting The Towner Art Gallery. I'm an omnivore and she is a vegetarian. We had the Lunchtime Menu, wow, what value! Our meals were delicious and my beer was included in the price as I had the Starter + Main option. Staff were very welcoming and extremely polite. Our food was served on hot plates, which I prefer. There were about a dozen other diners at 1 pm on a chilly, wet Septembet Friday. We like this restaurant and will return to explore more dishes.
