We had not looked up Sovereign Harbour before going and expected a nice little old harbour. It could not have been different. Pleanty of restaurants and we walked around the marina and then along the beach. It is very modern with 1000s of apartments but we did enjoy our walk.

Went to there today , was very impressed with the restaurants and the Covid safety they had in place all very clean and waiting staff all wearing masks . But went round to to max etc and what a shambles it was dirty and looked like nothing been done to keep in order as the sobering harbour.

A group of us (6) came down to harbour today for a sunny trip around it. The weather is glorious and perfect for a tour but yet again the harbour boat tours are not running. I was told by some local people that it is about time the business was sold to someone who was willing to run it. There were quite a few others around who were showing an interest, no signs were put up saying that they were no running but it was still advertising the trips on a board, but doesn’t actually give times.

I've been going to the harbour for years and have never even got close to being bored. Loads of nice restaurants, also great for just a coffee. Lots of nice areas to go for walk.

We’ve been here a few times but today was very busy, I didn’t expect it to be, not any social distancing in place, felt very uncomfortable. Way too many people. We walked round the harbour, which is a nice walk just not when there are loads of people who have forgotten to socially distance. I think we will wait before returning.

As you enter you feel like you have just arrived in Monaco. Very Mediterranean feel. Very expensive boats and apartments. Great variety of eateries. Free parking. About an hours walk into Eastbourne.

Amazing marina, great walk from Eastbourne pier, unfortunately we went when it was the Frances storms so extremely windy, but the sound of the crashing waves added that little extra.

Even in these difficult times the harbour is a nice place to visit for walking and socialising. Before going for lunch we walked around the harbour and surrounding area and enjoyed the warm sunshine and luckily, not too many people being a Bank Holiday weekend.
There are plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops to suit all tastes when visiting here.

No matter the weather this place is worth the visit. It’s so relaxing and the variety of food & drink available are wonderful.
You are guaranteed a good welcome and a super view, even if it’s only people watching 😂

Stopped for a walk around the marina after a day out at Pevensey. Free parking available, though as someone else said the lack of signage meant we first of all drove round the retail park (which does have a good selection of shops). The walk around the harbour was lovely in the sunshine, I felt envious of the owners of the flats near the front - what a view to see every day! There were several places to eat, though we didn’t stop.

I've spent a lot of time walking around since lockdown.
I've lived on the harbour for almost 5 years but every walk seemed to unearth a hidden gem I was not ware of before.

Loved the harbour in the daytime. Plenty of places to eat and drink for everyone's pocket. We went for a meal in the evening which was lovely.

Returned after a lull. Great with many places to chill or eat and drink. Parking is ok but don't ever think of parking in any of the residents areas - the wardens are truly agressive!!!

What can I say spend the day out, shopping, beach, Harbour all with free parking. Places to eat, places to shop. watch the boats, see the beach.See the air display from there while having a beer in august.

The marina is in very good condition and is very nice to wonder around and watch the boats coming and going through various locks. However there is not an awfully large selection of places to eat, sadly there wasnt many independent restaurants the ones that were open a sort of had a 'chainy' feel to them. I would say it would be lovely in the summer to sit and have a drink and enjoy the boats but it's not really somewhere to stay for a long period of time.

Thai Marina: Great food, Lovely location, very attentive Friendly Service but always feel a little bit rushed with the serving of their courses and for the price it needs to be more of an experience then fast food

Fantastic place to visit. It's a good place for a walk and look at all the boats and yatchs. There's plenty of cafe's and restaurants and places to drink. You can also walk along the beach. On a clear day you can see Hastings in one direction or the south downs in the other direction. Worth a visit.
