Very clean and well organized harbour.
Excellent facilities.
The guide on the regular tourist boat was very informative, the fresh air trip ensuring that we were more than ready for an excellent meal at the awaiting pub.

Lots of eateries and restaurants and some truly fantastic boats to look at too

There are a couple of harbours and although we didn’t spend long, we found them to be a wonderful place to while away time walking and enjoying the scenery

Quite a lovely place to visit, especially if the weather is kind

Unfortunately for us it was a rainy day so we didn’t get to see the harbour at its best. Our friends boat is here so a trip around the harbour to see all the boats moored was an interesting excursion for us.

The weather was against us so instead of going out to sea we wandered around the surrounding area and lunched at the Thai Marina.

We will return.

We experienced the Sovereign Harbour Marina not as seafarers but as visitors to the area, bit of a concrete jungle was our first impression but well laid out, with nice restaurants and shops well worth a visit

Nice plate to visit for a look at the boats and to have coffee or lunch. Well worth a pleasant walk along the front from the Royal Parade to the Marina, or you can get the miniature train.

Lots of places to eat or just sit outside with a drink taking in the scenery. Our guests had a relaxing day.

Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Lovely for a walk around looking at the boats and also down to the sea front .... hopefully to see some seals!

Agree with other reviewers. A bit how the the other 5% live but lots of locals too. Second time we have wandered around. Fun watching boats go through the locks. You don't have to spend anything here or you could eat well!

What a lovely tranquil place, it was lovely walking around looking at all the different shapes and sizes of boats. Watching the yachts lining up to go through the two locks was great. There are a few places to get a drink and something to eat whilst watching the many boats coming & going, such a relaxing place to visit. There is a great long walk along the promenade from one end of Eastbourne to the other, definitely worth it if you love walking.

Eaten here many times never disappointed except this visit we thought we would take a boat trip, but NO the rude and grumpy man running it wouldn’t take us as there were not enough people.

We popped down to the Marina and spent a lovely couple of hours, first a look round the shops then gazing at the beautiful yachts which we dreamt of owning, then walked to the harbour entrance to see the seals that we had heard about:)
The tide was quite low but we managed to spot one pop his head up, lots of fish swimming under the yachts so plenty for seals to eat I imagine:)
Sovereign Harbour Marina is a very pleasant place to visit and spend some quality time, I just need to win the lottery and sail my new boat there!

We were staying in a house on the north side of the harbour for a week. Wonderful evening stroll in the sun around the harbour to get to the great variety of restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

There is a nice route from the restaurants on the shore side and hopefully you will see both bridges and one of the twin locks open as craft manoeuvre about. About a kilometre or so round the outer mariner pool and wheel chair friendly

We walked here from the town which took us about an hour. We enjoyed the walk taking in the views along the way. It was a hot day so we very much enjoyed a cold drink at one of the many restaurants overlooking the marina. It seemed quite a busy spot although we didn’t explore too far as we planned to walk back. If we return to Eastbourne we will definitely explore further.

There are lots of restaurants around the harbour. They have both large chain and small independant one, so lots of choice. There is not much else. Obviously lots of boats moored if you like looking at those.

Nice area. Nothing special. Typical harbour with few nice cafes and restaurants. There are good ones and bad ones too. Close there is a shopping area with the big cheap chains and brands, but ok.

Did not eat here but it is a very quaint place to visit. The restaurants all looked good but we did not have time to stay there.

This place has a relaxed atmosphere, lots of boats to see, places to sit when you have had enough strolling around. Great places to have something to eat or drink (recommend Di Lieto's Coffee Lounge). Children and adults seem to like watching the lock bridge going up and down. Interesting but pricey shops. Plenty of free parking nearby.

With plenty of car parking spaces, a selection of shops in the retail park and plenty of restaurants. Most of the time there is plenty of activity going on in the lock with plenty of boats etc coming in and going out. Good photography opportunities too

We walked around the marina and the owners on their boats (that never seem to move) The locks to sea provide lots of interest. When we visited the Lifeboat was waiting to enter the marina and it was interesting to see it close. In the lagoon, we saw the residents seals on the far bank.
