Sovereign Harbour is lovely to wander around. Watch the boats in the harbour and going in and out of the locks. Plenty of wildlife. we have seen seals, cormorants, herons and other seabirds

Lovely shopping area. Continue past the shops and get to the harbour area. Lovely relaxing atmosphere with plenty of places to eat and drink. Seating inside and outside at most of them.
Plenty of walkways alongside the marinas, swing bridges over different sectors. Walk through to the seafront intersection and find the lifeboat station. Not open to the public but has call-outs and other information to be read.

Perfect for a stroll before or after you go to see a film at Cineworld. There's a nice selection of restaraunts to choose from, too.
It's also a very good place to bring your dog. There are mechanical bridges that rise and fall to let the boats through; I have observed some being a bit nervous of them but other than that they should enjoy it.

A lovely place to walk around during the summer. Obviously close to the seafront, but a far walk to the town centre. A few bars, restaurants and a couple of shops. With the large shops just backing on behind it. Free park in the shopping retail park.

Lovely marina to the East of Eastbourne. A good selection of bars and restaurants are available to cater for all tastes. During the summer season, you can get a boat trip around the harbour, or take a trip out to sea to look at the lighthouses. Worth a visit if your in the area.

Had a nice long walk from Eastbourne center on the seafront down to the harbour. Very low tide so the seals weren't around. Excellent place to try any of a large varitety of restaurants and sit back and watch the world go by.
