It's alright. It's cool to see the boats and take a walk around. There are some restaurants. There is also a Harvester... It's nice on a sunny day and a lovely lunch location if you can sit outside by the water in the sunshine. There really isn't a lot there though. Worth a visit but I wouldn't have it high up on my itinerary.

This is a very nice harbour. We walked quite a long way around it but as it was a very hot day we were disappointed that there was no seats to sit on around the harbour (especially as its a large area) to walk. Also we only saw one place to stop to have a refreshment which was a Harvester. The other thing we were really disappointed with was that one of our group is in a wheelchair and at one point there was a very steep slope which we couldn't manage to push the wheelchair up so we had to turn around and come back the way we had come.

My partner and I often go to the marina be it for bugle ride from where we live to have a drink to going to have a meal at the various restaurants that are at the marina. If you like boats it's a very good place to go

A great place to go and spend some time.
There are a lot of eateries to spend your time there.
You are able to walk round the marina and don't miss the lovely houses with own moorings!

You feel like you are abroad when you are at the Marina. Full of life, boats, people, activities and restaurants. Far superior to Brighton Marina.
Great place to go any time of the year and especially for a celebration.
To top it all off you have the wonderful Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour Yatch club. You will get a very warm welcome and it has a beautiful outlook, ideal for parties.
Go take a look.

Not sure if we mis-timed this but when we visited on a Sunday afternoon, there were only 2 restaurants open which were rammed. The outside areas were scruffy with litter and food scattered around. The tables needed clearing too. Overall it didn't have a nice atmosphere however it may ne better at a different time of day? We would visit again to give it the benefit of the doubt.

The marina has a variety of places to eat at a range of prices from the large Harvester to an american diner and other more smaller, expensive restaurants. It has an accessible route for those using wheelchairs or mobility scooters. We visited midweek when it was quiet -however, it gets busy at weekends and school holidays. A few shops but mainly eateries.

This is a lovely area that has ample free parking and where you can go for good food from many cultures and specialities and also just stroll around and relax

It is directly behind the crumbles shopping area so there are shops there to go to before or after here

You can just sit and watch the lovely boats go in and out of the harbour or take a tour on one of them

All in all a lovely place to visit

All visitors to Eastbourne should make the short journey to the harbour. 3 bus routes run here from the town centre, 51,99 and the Loop. There is also ample free parking with shops and restaurants.
We visit regularly for a walk around the marina's and along the sea front. Last night we eat in Pablo's and enjoyed a lovely sea bass main course. There is a great choice of bars and restaurants with views of the boats in the marina and many have outside seating.

Sovereign Harbour Marina is a great place to visit as there are several great places to eat and drink. You can walk round the harbour, stopping half way round to watch the boats come in and out of the locks. And if your lucky you'll see Sammy seal. It's a great place to visit.

Ive lived at the Harbour now for 10 years and still love walking around looking at the boats, and enjoying a relaxing time outside the cafes, bars and restaurants. Its quite a lively place which has grown over the years not only just for the leisure, but now a really big housing complex which is now divided into the north and south Harbour. Next to the Harbour is the Crumbles shopping retail park which has a Cine World and some well known department stores like Asda, Boots, and many more. Worth a visit for a coffee and a bite to eat and to enjoy the pleasent suroundings.

We randomly stopped here when we were out on a day trip and my children were very excited to see all the boats in the harbour. Also the bridge that splits in two to let the boats through was a hit! We didn't stop for food but we did notice some nice looking places with outdoor seating so perhaps next time we will.

When visiting Eastbourne we always pop down to the marina, if it's a day visit we stop for a bit of lunch at one of the many restaurants or if down for the weekend we always take a taxi from wherever we're staying have a few drinks and eat at Ganges Indian restaurant overlooking the all the boats moored in the marina.
One of our favourite places to visit.

What a lovely area to spend the afternoon. Great scenery, superb food, and so relaxing. The boat trip around the harbour was an opportunity to see many boats and very expensive properties, as well learning about the history of the Harbour and Eastbourne in general.
Worth a day out without a doubt !!!!!
