Four separate yacht basins. Interesting either to walk round or to take the guided tour by launch with commentary. Wide range of shops and restaurants. Interesting too to see the locks and bridges that open and close to let yachts through. A worthwhile couple of hours to spend here. And free car parking. So a free trip if you want one!

We walked from Eastbourne town to the harbour and it was worth the walk, great coffee shops/bars and you can walk through to the retail park if you fancy the usual shopping (Next, Tk Maxx, etc). There is an interesting locks system to get the boats in and out, so plenty to see and good for people watching. Had to get the land train back to Eastbourne as it felt like we had been walking for hours!

Brilliant place to visit, great selection of restaurants and cafés, bars. Nice shop to visit. Do the boat trip around the harbour this is a really nice way to see all the beautiful boats close up. If you get a chance walk to the fountain feature which is nestled in the middle of the housing just off Atlantic Drive, this is reputedly the biggest water feature in Europe.

Good to boat watch, cinema nearby on a wet day and near the beach too. Also a nice walk from central Eastbourne/Pier on a sunny/day day. Could live there really.

Completely sheltered with 24 hour locked entry and an easy fuel berth. We ate at one of the busy restaurants on site. ASDA is 5 minutes walk and Dover but 45 miles away.

I love how the harbour feels like a vibrant place to be. Lots of food and drink places to visit, although I just went for a walk around the harbour, looking at the boats and watching the boats coming in and hour. It was a lovely place to visit. And free parking close by.

Visited on a lovely sunny afternoon. Sat and had a tea and coffee overlooking the harbour and you could have been abroad! Walked all around the harbour, past the lifeboat station. Lovely circular walk.

Good selection of restaurants and cafes, cinema and retail park.
You can easily walk around the marina and look at the boats, it's in nice surrounding and you can access the shingle beach and walk to Pevensey.

Good restaurants, great views, nice people, lovely gift shop. I thoroughly recommend the Thai Marina where the food is fab and the service is great. They really make you feel like one of the family.

Loads of boats in the harbour if you are into boats. It was a very cold windy day in April and I was glad to get back into the car. Free parking very good and a few shops, loads of eating places overlooking the harbour with outside seating which I expect is lovely on a nice warm day. Not enough there for me to enjoy as boats do not really "float my boat" but my husband was enthusiastic about the larger ones. Probably nice for children to visit but not for me on a cold day.

Great to sit out in the sunshine - but not a lot to look at, as hardly a bustling or lively marina. Compared to Brighton Marina, this is dull.

We come here often as we use a number of the facilities and also love to eat out here! There are a variety of restaurants serving fresh fish meals to Italian. It is a great place for all ages and they have fun days with characters too.

Great location in every aspect. Amazing route for a good jog or a casual stroll along the piers. Great for shopping and dining in lovely atmosphere. Many buildings have been nicely renovated in a contemporary modern style. parts of it remind one of Hamburgs Hafen City, yet it has a special rural atmosphere to it. Highly recommended

Living close enough to the Sovereign Harbour Marina to walk we love to visit and watch the boats and yachts come in and out the marina through the lock gates. It is then nice to walk round to the restaurants and shops looking at the fish and jelly fish in the water as we make or way round to our favorite cafe for coffee and cakes.
We are lucky living so close to be able to walk to our marina and when we fancy eating out we can also share a bottle of wine with our meal as we don't have to use our car.
We love it and have no problem in recommending it.

The Marina is a great way to spend a few hours. Whether it's enjoying some food or watching the many boats moving around to daydreaming that you own one, it's a fab place to just watch.
Parking is free which is a rarity today. You can get access to the pebbly beach.
There is a Asda supermarket close so grab an icecream and enjoy it on the beach.
The Marina is a mixture of boats and housing. Lots of boats are moored here.

Visited on a horrid wet day so couldn't enjoy the outdoor seating nor watch the boats coming and going in the harbour. Am sure it would be lovely on a sunny day. Free parking is a bonus.
