The museum is small but quite interesting. There is a cafe on the ground floor and an elevator about 3 meters high (it's like a landmark in itself). It’s also convenient that there is a library with books where you can look through artists’ albums and nearby open the shelves where the works are stored.

Very good staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. Do stop on the stairs and look at the sculpture of the lady with a veil amazing.
Lots to look at and many different styles of painting.
We went two days running because you can take more in the second time.
Also look for the soldier, and sit and reflect.

Fabulous contemporary art gallery in a coastal town. Great collection of Eric Ravilious art works, very nice reading room of art books. Souvenir shop is very much worth a visit as well. Don't miss this on your next visit to Eastbourne! The events programme also looks very intriguing.

The art exhibition was really interesting with a whole spe ctrum of talent on show.

I am glad they have addressed the imbalance of ratio of women/ men artists 18%/82%.

ElizabethSmith was my favourite but why am I not able to find her on Google?
