Came here last night as a party of 14, excellent service, staff were very attentive, good beer on tab and bottles, Long man and Grolsh witch i liked.
We had heard excellent reviews on this place,was told it was quite expensive but worth it as the food is decent.I ordered the burger, it was tasty but i wasn't wowed over it for the price of it, annoyingly it came with about 5 chips served in a metal basket.
Would rather of had it on a plate with a few more chips and a bit of salad wouldn't have gone a miss.Maybe next time i shall try one of the steaks.

Being a london cabbie Iv visited many up market steakhouses over the years , all with big reputations and big prices , this place beats them all and at a fraction of the cost , a family run business that as soon as you step in the door you know they love and care about what they do , and they do it so well , absolutely perfect , beautifully seasoned suculant melt in the mouth steak you could cut with a spoon ! My only disappointment is this place is over 2 hours from my home ! Great service and a warm welcome if your anywhere near EASTBOURNE ! Look no further this is the place for any steak lover , plenty of choice and deserts to die for , Iv paid 3 times the price in london for no where near the quality of this place . I'll be back whenever I can !!!

First visit to this restaurant. Have always wanted to go inside, love the windows. Very spacious. Open kitchen which the chef kept very clean. The menu was quite small. A few specials on the chalkboard. One fish dish and one vegetarian. The meals we had were very nice. Lots of meat but very little else. A few chips and green salad. Banoffee pie was creamy but lacking bananas. On the expensive side - £14 for a burger. Staff friendly.

2nd visit the 1st being 2 years ago and just as amazing before truly excellent! Had a steak which was perfect. Great service, great food we'd not eat anywhere else whilst in Hastings......banofee pie mmmmmmmm

The steaks were as good as the reputation this restaurant has . They were mouthwatering . Staff very friendly and welcoming . However I was not a fan of the puddings as they were a little on the heavy side for me having just eaten my lovely steak , should have just had the ice cream . Would highly recommend

Excellent steak with appropriate and imaginative sides/accompaniments. Well balanced wines and desserts really make the meal, and the venue itself is gorgeous. My only criticism? Being served too fast! We were in and out (2 courses) within 90 minutes, despite looking for a longer more relaxed meal. Certainly recommend for meat lovers.

The set lunch is such good value for money.Rump steak for under £10 with a sauce, chunky chips and salad.

My and my wife visited this restaurant on a Saturday night in August first impressions were that someone had set up shop in an empty shop as the furniture seemed not to match with only the odd table or chairs matching, service was very slow considering there was only about 8 tables being used most of those being couples, the one thing that I found worrying was that I witnessed the table next to me not being wiped between being used and laid up again as there were no table cloths I would have thought this would have been the minimum.
I had the T bone steak which was very good ( but at £27 should be) my wife the sirloin which was very tough both though were cooked as requested, deserts were good if a little expensive but choice was limited

We love this restaurant, having been a few times before, The service is exceptional and the food is amazing. As our reason to visit was to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we were made to feel very welcome and the staff were unbelievably friendly and attentive, Definitely worth a visit. You certainly won't be disappointed.

We have been meaning to book a table at this restaurant for some time. They do two sitting and we chose the earlier time and were seated happily at a lovely table. They had put a small table decoration and an anniversary card on the table, really nice touch. My wife had the chef recommended Sirloin, I had the Fillet. Really well cooked, nice extras, good sauces available. Excellent attentive staff, very polite. Really made to feel welcome, no feeling of being rushed. A good range of desserts, nice selection of wine. Not pretentious, good attitude and I highly recommend. We had a lovely evening, thank you. We will be returning...

If there is one place you should go for great steak then this is it, I've been to many first class restaurants in London and this is by far the best steak I have tasted. The service was exemplary, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived and this excellent approach was carried on throughout our meal. I can't recommend this place highly enough, the food was of the highest quality and also presented great value for money for the overall experience.

On arrival we (2 of us) were treated to excellent service by Glen - who is a great host - which was maintained throughout. Food was very prompt and delivered as requested, we both ordered 1/2 cheeseburgers which were delicious and the meat is clearly freshly cooked which makes it more tastier. The portion sizes are not large which is nice as it makes you not feel pressurised into eating it all but enough is served for you to really experience the flavour.

Staff were extremely helpful, especially calling the chef out to organise my parents veggie meal. The rest of us had rib eye steak and it was amazing! Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone loving a nice steak!

Marie fit us in as a last minute reservation but made us feel as welcome as if we had booked a week in advance. All the waiting staff couldn't have been nicer... lovely positive people! Our starter was the special of scallops (yum!!!) and our fav of the mackerel pate... it is delicious!
Steaks were just perfect, cooked to perfection... and as for the salted caramel ice-cream... to die for! Marie and Glenn are fab hosts, the steakhouse is going from strength to strength under them..... there is a real feeling that everyone cares you have a good meal and enjoy both the food and atmosphere.... this isn't a chain... and you know it! This is a fantastic asset to eastbourne!

can't wait to go back for there beer and burger nights on Wednesdays. The homemade chips and salad were brilliant.

We Ate in here at lunchtime very attentive and excellent customer service, food delicious and fare price - would def go back already recommended- nice atmosphere Table was sticky from wood and varnish can't be helped ? Went outside came back in our table be moved whist they attended to the sticky table asap. Great service

The restaurant was busy but we were looked after with friendly and helpful staff all night, would highly recommend the 11oz Rib-eye it was melt in your mouth, just make sure you leave room for the desserts All round a great night had by all

Went for a birthday dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening! The food was incredible especially the starter of garlic prawns and the homemade mackerel pate that my husband had! For mains our sirloins were cooked to perfection and truly delicious. The staff were very friendly and gave very good recommendations, also the happy birthday card on my table was a very special touch. Will definitely be returning

Scallops wrapped in bacon and the garlic king prawns were so fresh and tasty and the Steak was melt in your mouth, So tender and full of flavour,The staff were helpful with
