Went there last night for the first time after reading some great reviews
Went into the Pub/Bar area before the meal - lady behind the bar was friendly but seemed too interested in chatting to her friends
The restaurant itself is nice and clean but decor is a bit cheap, Staff were friendly but they did seem to take an age between courses (maybe short staffed as it was Sunday)
The food was excellent wife had a sirloin and i had a Porterhouse and could not fault it
Wife had Banoffee Pie and said it was okay nothing special
all in all a good restraint that could be a great on with a few tweaks - but judging by the other reviews plenty of people seem to like it as it is
we would eat there again as the quality of the food made up for some of the other misgivings

This is the first time I have eaten here and I am wondering what took me so long....The steaks were cooked to perfection with proper hand cut chips. All the staff were helpful and very friendly and I would like to thank them all (especially Annie) for making our visit a most enjoyable one. My only disappointment of the day was that i could'nt finish my dessert of a cheeseboard......Gutted :)

Two years later and Two Bulls Restaurant is still a class above in Eastbourne. £9 special lunches and three course special dinners are still matchless. You cannot find better value for money. The service remains excellent, absolutely 5-star stellar service. The starters, mains and desserts were delicious. All four steaks were cooked to the correct four different preferences. If I had to find criticism, the mackeral pate was too tart and not creamy enough. Finally, I would love to see more seafood like a dressed crab on the regular menu.

Came last Saturday for my 30th with a group of 20 of us and would just like to say how accommodating and friendly the staff were with all our fussy (my) dietary requirements. The food was great and arrived all together and couldn't fault anything. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning soon! Thank you for a fabulous and memorable evening.

Whilst Dinner is something special the Lunch steak menus are just so reasonable. The steaks are still delicious, although not quite so long in their ageing, and are cooked over charcoal. The waiting staff are as ever of a good standard and it is easy to see why this establishment at lunchtime is so popular. Highly reccomend it for a true bargain.

As holidaymakers,last visited 2 years ago;service remains friendly and relaxed.Both steak dishes were tasty and cooked as requested;there is a big range on offer and the puds seem far better than some similar places.Much quieter than when we last went but a mixed age group made it feel comfortable;would certainly return.

I came here on an lunch time with a group of friends. We had excellent service from the get go, very friendly. We had our drinks brought over quickly. We all ordered from the lunch time menu and couldn't believe the value and quality of the food we was served. The steak was cooked to perfection and was tender. All the sides were amazing! I finished off with the Eton mess. I am looking forward to my next visit!!

6 of us visited on Thursday evening as we were working nearby , we were not disappointed!! This place is truly fabulous.....atmosphere/staff /food / price all absolutely spot on !! If you love a good steak perfectly cooked this is a must visit ! 10 out of 10 from the whole party ....well done 2 Bulls team and I can't wait to revisit!!

The sunday meal deal was explained and duly taken up. 3 course meal for two choice of steaks from fillet , sirloin or rump with a bottle of house wine or drinks to the value of all included for £50.There is an upgrade option to change items which incur additional cost but this is still good value if you fancy something different. Choices made we all tucked in to starters mains and sweet- peanut

On arrival we were shown to a table and waitress produced two menus again very friendly. We ordered drinks, which I have to say were as we required. The menu had plenty of choice for serious carnivores, we had already decided on starters and mains, prawn cocktail always a firm favourite and local smoked mackerel pate. All arriving in good time, well presented and very tasty. Then for the mains fillet steak, rare with onion rings, peppered mushroom, chunky chips and salad. Confession time, I had the double fillet 12oz rare, and I was not disappoint. The flavour of the meat was fantastic, and cooked to perfection. The staff were fantastic in both efficiency and personality making the whole evening a brilliant experience, will be going again 100%.

We popped in on a Friday night and was lucky to get a table. Had the £60 deal, which was great value as it included a bottle of wine. The rib eye was cooked to perfection and the peanut banoffee pie is to die for. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back soon!!!

Our family and friends visited the two bulls for our Easter celebration. We chose a later sitting and although quiet it still had a great atmosphere where we felt relaxed and able to chat and drink without feeling rushed out the door. We chose the more expensive English sparkling and it was lovely..as good as champagne.
We all had different dishes, the steak did not disappoint, cooked to perfection for each personal request. I chose the halloumi dish and it was lovely.
The desserts are amazing....I loved the banoffi pie!! We will definitely be returning!

Spontaneously we walked up to the Two Bulls Steak House, We were made to feel so welcome by Kay he totally made our evening. what a truly amazing host ! I Kay made our evening excellent, he was so kind to our daughter who is probably the fussiest eater on the planet ! I have had a challenging week at work and we left the restaurant chilled and happy after a fantastic meal and what great staff. we will be back ....

I recently visited the two bulls steakhouse and had a sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection,Chunky chips lovely side salad and a beautiful garlic butter! My partner had a starter of surf and turf also which was so tender! The staff were polite accommodating and the atmosphere was very calming I can't wait to come back again soon!

Visited on Mother's Day which at other places can be a bit hit and miss, however not here - The Two Bulls excelled from the moment we walked through the door we had a very friendly and warm welcome, service was excellent and very attentive and helpful. Our waiter was brilliant with the two young kids and made everyone feel welcome and made the day really special.
The food, choice and prices were all great and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit - will certainly be recommending and be returning soon.

It's been quite a while since we had dinner here & im sooo pleased to say it's still top notch. I have a allergy to certain additives which a lot of restaurants who claim to cook from scratch still seem to have in their food. Not at the Two Bulls EVERYTHING is made from scratch. What a refreshing change these days. We all enjoyed our steaks, cooked just as we ordered & my wife's Chicken was first class. Talking of class, the service is brilliant, the staff really do care you have a good night & all seem to enjoy their jobs. Big shout to Kay who looked after us & deserved the tip we left for being so charming, funny & a credit to the restaurant. The only thing I'm sorry about is that we left it so long to go back ...see you again very soon ! :)

The 3 course set meal deal was excellent and had a great selection, including none steak options.
Decor was good with good use of old shabby look table and chairs, tables were well spaced so allowed us to talk without the neighboring table listening.

Not often I am impressed as much but incredible steak (45 day Rib Eye) and the Sluttish Peanut Banoffee Pie blew me away. Not cheap but quality like this never is. Great atmosphere and decor with efficient friendly staff, especially Sophie who sussed the perfect recommendations for me. Shall be returning beyond doubt. Highly recommended

My wife and I really loved this place and will definitely return soon. The staff are great. The steaks are beautiful along with the chunky chips. It's not cheap but well worth the money. There's a good wine selection and one at £4 per glass is great value comparitively.
