Stayed for 5 nights with my husband and 7 year old daughter. Very friendly staff and waiter at breakfast went out of his way to provide my daughter with hot chocolate she wanted when they had run out. We stayed in a room on the ground floor overlooking the kids play area, the beds are huge and very comfortable. We ate in the bar area one evening, food reasonable. Husband said breakfast was the best he'd had, lots of choice and not a one as same standard every morning. Room service very quick. Pool in spa area nice and warm. There was a function on one evening and a note was pushed under the door to tell us the noise may disturb us but we never heard a thing. Can't wait for next year will definitely be back.

We booked this hotel for a 3 night B&B break. When we dropped our luggage off in the AM, the room wasn't ready, which wasn't a problem. The receptionist was over-run, dealing with a succession of phone calls, but our luggage was stored and later delivered to our room, which was at the front of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the grounds & lake were lovely. The breakfast chaoice was huge and the breakfast food was lovely (soft scrambled egg - yipee). The minor complaint was that the food wasn't replenished very quickly on the Sunday AM

There are few places where you can experience a business trip which turns out to recharge your batteries. Here is one of those places.

The hotel is comfortable and everything is designed to help you to relax. The bed and pillows divine, staff are friendly and welcoming and you can stroll to the beach in 30 minutes or less. Great to watch the sun set over the Bay.

As usual the breakfast sets you up for the day. I love staying here when I am in Guernsey on business and recommend it to anyone.

A recent stay on business and overall a very pleasant experience at a very conveniently located hotel close to the island capital.

The good: Warm welcome. Breakfast are excellent with perfect service, worthy of a hotel of this size. No complaints about the cleanliness of the premises and rooms. Beautiful grounds, and facilities such as the swimming pool and jacuzzi. A gym is also available.

Downside: None

Conclusion: a very nice hotel to stay in Guernsey; would recommend.

This is a very imposing hotel set in some nice grounds, I would guess very popular for weddings. Lots of couples and families and some business travellers like myself. The rooms are a decent size, well furnished and comfortable with up to date and good quality bathroom furniture. I ate in the bar both nights, the food was OK although the complimentary wasabi peas were very nice! Breakfast is served buffet style. I would stay here again although I might look for somewhere else to eat.

My room was fabulous, but was on the ground floor with a patio door for ventilation , as I like to sleep with the window open, I wasn't happy about doing that with a patio door, with no fuss at all, reception moved me up to 2nd floor at no extra charge. I ate in the bar that evening and the food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, although self service offered plenty of choice and good quality-will be going back on my next business trip. Well done all at the hotel.x

Two night business stay. Gorgeous location with stunning views.

Room was lovely but starting to look tired. Lovely little patio, with table and chairs, which gave me access to walk around the lower level outside and look over the fountain.

Had one meal at the restaurant but unfortunately due to a problem somewhere between us ordering and the kitchen receiving the order, it took 90mins to get my meal!

Couple of mishaps with reception - wake up call not received, colleague's room service order was incorrect.

Nice hotel, would stay again, but has potential to be so much more.

Good food and friendly staff. Asked to change room as working nights and room was close to school so may have been a little noisy. They changed my room to quieter part of hotel. All rooms have a balcony.

The three rooms I stayed in all had king size beds.

Little out from capital, but only about 20min walk or 5 min bus ride (for 1 Euro)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at St Pierre Park Hotel - the staff were fantastic and the food was lovely. The one downside was the noise from the road and the car park especially late at night when guests are leaving - I suggest you request a room facing the other way we will never again stay in the room we were allocated - room 255 - as we never had one night where our sleep was not interrupted by the racket - this was a shame as the hotel on a whole is fantastic. TV selection very, very poor

I booked the Alderney suite for a 4 night break nearly a year ago for our 23rd wedding anniversary, so glad I did, the suite itself was an amazing space, split into a lounge and bedroom area with en-suite bathroom facilities, side balcony, and large main balcony consisting of hot tub, sun loungers and garden furniture, all very well looked after and clean. when entering our room, we was welcomed with a bottle of champagne, basket of fruit, and little plate of chocolates, very nice touch, we also had to wait after our due 2.00pm check in time, (due to previous guests, checking out a little late), we were still in our room by 2.30, and was asked by the manager (I think), if he could by way of apologising a bottle of wine, again very nice touch (probably would have declined if we realised we already had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room :), all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, special thanks to Kirsten or Kristen (sorry, if I got name wrong) on reception who was very professional and fun with it, the concierge guy (Scottish, sorry did not get name) again was very friendly and helpful, as well as all the bar staff, we ate in the bar just the once, enjoyed our meals (although wifes Ribeye was a little tough), but was immediately removed from the bill, the gardens and lake area was nice and quiet to have a stroll around. We did not eat in the main restaurant as we were out most of time and ate lunches out. The hotel is close to bus stops to venture around the Island, all for £1 per journey , we were going to hire a car after a couple of days but did not feel this was necessary. all in all a lovely relaxing break, just what we were after, so thank you to all the staff who helped make this possible, defo recommend to anyone to visit here

3 night mid-week break. Food great; staff great, good health club, location spot on, good free wifi. I think we got one of the rooms (Room 450) that hadn't yet been fully updated - ceiling tiles awry in 1 place - but Exec twin room beds were very, very comfortable and facilities fine. Balcony can only have 1 person on. Downside of room location was that we were supposedly a quiet room but it was at the end of corridor, so anybody going to lifts had to go through fire doors outside our room....loud bang, bang. bang starting from before 07.00. No chance of a sleep-in really.

I would class this hotel as traditional refined. I stayed here on business about 15 years ago and apart from updating the traditional decor it hasn't changed a great deal

The food in the bar was ok for bar food, we ate there a couple of times whilst working, as I said it was ok I wouldn't rush back nor look for anything else. Reasonably good selection on the menu.

Rooms are large and roomy but in the summer suffer from lack of air conditioning. Bathrooms are large again and traditional modern, decent beds which make with the high quality pillows for a good nights sleep

I always ask myself would I go back, I would say yes.

I have not visited Guernsey for many years and did not have high expectations of hotels based on my last trip. How wrong can I have been?
Although we were only there for three nights, it was a delight. The rooms were spotless and beautifully presented. They were generous with toiletries and water, (so rare and so welcome!).
Both Dina and Sean bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and ensure that everything was just as it should have been for us.
The breakfast was superb as were the staff on duty.
Well done everybody, a truly great place to stay!

Stayed for two nights. Do a lot of travelling for business and the beds here are without doubt one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in - needless to say I had a great nights sleep here!

Staff were great - friendly, welcoming, with a good sense of humour and not overly intrusive - just the right balance between entertaining their guests and tending to their respective duties which I really appreciated.

Food - was surprised by the variety on the menu, they offer a very good range of meals. No complaints whatsoever from our table - clean plates all round and from what I could see this seemed to be the norm on the other tables as well - everything was very well presented.

The only 'thing' that let the place down a little from my perspective was the decor which I thought was a wee bit outdated as the location and grounds offer a lot of potential. However, I am confident that anyone visiting this hotel, for business or pleasure, will not be disappointed - well worth staying at if visiting Guernsey.

It's not often we find a hotel that ticks all the boxes but St Pierre Park was as close as we've ever been. We booked a 3 night stay here at the beginning of June as part of a 2-island holiday incorporating Jersey for a further 4 nights. Unfortunately our stay in Guernsey was reduced to only 2 nights because the ferry from Poole was cancelled on our scheduled departure date due to bad weather - what a shame! The hotel is located in a beautiful spot - a 9-hole par 3 golf course, gardens and a large lake all feature in the grounds. The place is easy to find and there's plenty of car parking space on site. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a room with a balcony/terrace overlooking the lake. The room itself could not be faulted in any way - restful colour-scheme, very spacious, plenty of wardrobe space, safety box, a fridge (which we had requested in advance) and a fast wifi connection. We used the terrace restaurant on the first evening where we found a wide choice on the menu (perhaps a little over-priced wine list) and very friendly, helpful staff. The buffet breakfast on both mornings was a real treat with a wide range of choices for all tastes and diets. The front desk staff were particularly helpful regarding advice on car-parking regulations on the island and we were very grateful for that. It will be to our eternal regret that we lost a night's stay at this lovely hotel as it's unlikely we shall ever get the opportunity to visit Guernsey again. We would have no hesitation in recommending the St Pierre Park Hotel to anyone looking for a few days in restful surroundings with easy access to St Peter Port and other parts of the island.

Had a few days here.Staff excellent.Look out for concierge from Kirremuir. He is a credit to company.Manageress very picky who she speaks to.My toilet had difficulty in flushing. You will never find the lockers in the pool area. All staff very good.Careful at breakfast as if you order something from the kitchen menu it takes a long time to come, unlike the toast which is whizzed at great speed (but cold ).There is also a butter shortage.Internet problems during my visit.Lovely grounds and good food in bar.

This was my second visit and it was even better than my first!

The atmosphere, the staff and the food were excellent. The staff were so tentative, nothing was too much trouble.

Special mention must go to the General Manager, Dina Le Lacheur who seemed to be on duty day and night and still managed to look elegant and be calm! We were at the hotel for an important charity event and she made sure that everything went to plan. She greeted our party when we arrived, made sure all our transport needs were met, oversaw our dinners etc and because the breakfast service was so busy, she was seen serving tables, I was impressed!

Location of the hotel is great, the grounds are beautiful with an impressive lake full of wildlife. There is a golf course too but sadly we had no time for golf!

Accommodation was good, very clean and met our needs.

I look forward to going back again one day!

Dina the manager, and her team at the St Pierre Park make our celebrity Cricket weekend run so effortlessly. We had wrong suitcase, no suitcases, so many dramas but Dina just takes it all in her stride and things are resolved without question, promptly and with pleasure. The team look after us all so very well. It is a spectacular weekend where we raise money for Lord Taverners and with over 300 people that is no easy task. Given so much work goes into organising, seamless execution of all the events and the thought and service we receive over the weekend from the team just makes it one of the social must do's of the year. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL>

We have stayed here many times before, we have always found it to be pleasant if slightly dated.

It has now changed hands, and although the staff ethos, of always going out of their way to be helpful, and cheerful (Even to the extent of finding a small handkerchief that had been gathered up with the breakfast table napkins, and returning it washed and laundered) remains, the changes are impressive.

The hotel is in the midst of a transformation, from a pleasant but tired old duck into a glorious swan, the rooms are being refurbished, and now have ironing boards instead of trouser presses,
good size bathrobes in all rooms, plus bottled water.

I can't wait to return next year, to view all of the proposed upgrades to the rooms, at which point I will be only too pleased to change my overall rating from very good, to superb.

I had never been to Guernsey before but am an old hand with the other island.

I'd been ready the reviews on here over the few months before we arrived and on the whole things looked good some people had their niggles and complaints as you would expect, well when we arrived the staff we very helpful and the room we had 166 was amazing the bed was massive lost my wife in it.

We were lucky with our room it was on the very end of the hotel over looking the tennis court on the ground floor and the patio area we had was very relaxing after a hard day shopping in St Peter's Port.

The room itself was well equipped even had one of those gadgets the George Clooney advertises on TV.

Starting with breakfast a wide choice of continental or full English. What was good to see was Free From section separate from the other food.

The bar was run well and the staff service was very good and we did prefer eating in there rather than the Victor Hugo restaurant which to be honest wasn't really our style of eatery but the wine went well with our meal.

We were entertained by the taking down for safety reason these old trees which was a real shame, but the skill in which this was done was amazing to say the least. The big kicker was that we were going to photograph these trees on the second afternoon but the sun was in the wrong place then the next morning the cutting had begun d'oh.

Access to St Peter's Port from the hotel is very simple and although I had my car in the car park it only moved from the ferry and back again the rest of the time we used the bus stop just outside Waitrose the bus numbers are 41 and 42 on a regular basis...only downside the buses stop running about 8:30 from town but it is only £1 per trip on any bus and there is a route 91 and 92 I think that go right round the whole island for a £1.

We had fun and look forward to our next trip to the hotel, yes there were one or two little things that were annoying but not everywhere will be perfect all the time and the staff are only human.

finally, it is worth spending the evening at least once in St Peter's Port and the taxi ride is only about £6 back after the last bus. We found a great place on the front call Mora and another in the town called Dix-Neuf...both worth a visit

I must speak very highly of this hotel. The bedroom looked as though it had been freshly decorated, the bed was the most comfortable that I have experienced in a hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and ensured our stay was a memorable chapter of our lives. The breakfast was excellently cooked, we went for the variety of cereals , whole grain flakes and milk. Followed by the full English from the buffet: other options were available to order. We were informed by a letter under the door of any functions that were happening on the Friday evening, and even though there were four functions we did not hear anything . We ate in the terrace bar on four occasions and were served well. We did not use the restaurant in the evening, but noted the menu would have made us happy. There is ample parking space, a walked marked out around the golf course, corridor carpets where excellent, clean and springy. We are likely to return.

We stayed at St Pierre Park Hotel, we had a bit of a problem with the room for a start, but Kristaps the assistant manager went out of His way and was very helpful. To hit top marks part of hotel could do with a bit more TLC.
Most of the staff were most helpful and bedrooms were clean and tidy. Would go again.
Need a car if you go.
