Have not been here for a few years but nothing has changed. It's still a good experience. Very nice roomes either looking out over the fountain, to the front, or the gardens at the back. A very good fitness area with attentive staff. One criticism, why do they not open the breakfast restaurant earlier at the weekends, Not everyone wants a lie in and some have planes to catch. Up to 8 am, the only choice is a continental breakfast in your room. Some might find it a bit far from the main town, St Peter Port, but taxis are plentiful and not expensive. Would liked to have played their nine hole par 3 golf course, but the weather was not brilliant..

The hotel could do with a makeover, but overall very good vale for money. The beds are comfy and rooms very quiet. Staff are all very friendly and helpful - great welcoming atmosphere - this was a business trip, i am a female travelling alone and felt very safe. I'll definately go back with my husband for a holiday, he will enjoy the golf and there are some great spa treatments that I will be able to take advantage of. Breakfast selection fantastic.

This was the second Hotel we stopped in on our trip to Guernsey,we only had two days in here but I wish we had longer, the rooms are very spacious with a large bathroom,we were on the ground floor so had a lovely balcony which opened up onto the fantatic gardens, complete with resident Ducks and Moorhens!!!Breakfast was great with plenty of choice,we felt the baon was a little to bit salty for our likings....The health room INDOOR pool and salon are great,a real plus, overall a really good stay,i would use this place as first choice on any return in future, well done team!!

This is not the sort of hotel we normally stay in but we chose it for its location and because we got a good deal. Although the hotel is quite large and hosts a lot of corporate events, we loved it! The setting is very tranquil with a lake and large grounds as a result of it having a golf course. The room was scrupulously clean and very comfortable with a King size bed and decent sized bathroom. It was nice to have a balcony to sit out on even though the weather didn't allow too much of that on our visit. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful - and this applied to everyone! Breakfast, to suit all tastes, was plentiful and delicious. We ate in the terrace bar one evening and the food was very good. Location superb being away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but with a bus stop (and Waitrose!) just across the road, making a trip into town for dinner very easy. Well done St Pierre Park!

The food at the Victor Hugo restaurant was out if this world, it was the Sunday lunch we went for the starter main and desert was as nice as each other, I would defiantly recommend eating here. The staff were lovely too, really happy and very helpful.

The St Pierre Park is a large hotel but the service feels like that of a small country hotel. All the staff are extremely polite and helpful. Our room was a good size for a standard room with a very comfortable bed, good quality furnishings and a spacious and well appointed bathroom. We had a tiny balcony with one chair and a table with a partial view of the lake and fountain.

In the restaurant the service was excellent until our final evening (a Saturday) when there were two birthday parties going on at the same time which made the service extremely slow. The food was generally good, especially if you like fish, which was excellent. We found the meat dishes a little bland and vegetable selection predictable but at least it wasn't over spiced or laced with garlic. Starters and desserts were very good. A special mention should be made of Lydia, the Manageress who is very efficient and friendly, and two of the waiting staff - Linda and Gabriel - who were very attentive and friendly, and made our meals more enjoyable.

Breakfast is buffet style with a huge range from fresh and tinned fruits to cereals, local breads, pastries and toast, and the usual cooked selection. Service was excellent too with nothing too much trouble.

Some of the rooms suffer from noise from the busy road, the air conditioning unit and the entertainment areas.

There is a large indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, and a spa.

The Hotel is close to a bus stop for buses into St Peter Port, or you can walk to the harnour in about 30 minutes. The location is on a busy road, about a mile from the sea, in a very busy and congested town, which you could never describe as picturesque. There are regular ferries from the harbour to Herm and Sark, which are both worth a visit.

A flight cancellation meant we got to stay at the St Pierre Park for 1 night. We'd been at another hotel for 4 nights.....but wish we'd spent all our Guernsey nights here! The hotel is elegant whilst not being fussy and the public areas very spacious. The double room we had was perfect with nice views over the small lake and fountain. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate in the bar rather than the main restaurant and found the choice and quality of food excellent. Breakfast was buffet style with excellent selection of fresh food to choose from. We had time to make use of the indoor pool which was most welcome. The spa area is extremely nice with a choice of treatments at reasonable prices. There is a top class 9 hole Par 3 golf course adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is well situated about 10 mins from the centre of St PeterPort and on a main bus route. When we come back to Guernsey, we'll definitely stay here.

A pleasant enough hotel where the staff were more than helpful. Service was good and bar food was very good and adequate.
Bedroom was spacious and well equipped but in need of some redecoration.
Buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of fresh food to choose from.

The hotel is very well located with plenty of parking, and is more or less opposite a Waitrose where there are cash machines and you can get provisions for a day out. The staff in the hotel are friendly and professional, the breakfasts are superb and for 2 nights of our 4 night stay we ate in the Victor Hugo restaurant in the hotel and both meals were memorable for all the right reasons. Really would struggle to fault this hotel - excellent!

Just outside the main area of St.Peter Port it is close to all key routes to go anywhere across the Island. It also has a spacious car park and a bus service to St.Peter Port or the other way to Cobo and Vazon just outside. The grounds are excellent for relaxing and for golfers there is a good 9 hole course but check opening times. We found the breakfast to be one of the best we have received as the choice meant something for everybody and the staff were pleased to offer anything that was not available. The a la Carte was good value for money and again excellent service from all the staff. The room was a good size and very clean. The Elemis bath stuff went down a treat. The only downside was being over the car park and close to a generator of some sort. It is well worth paying a bit more if necesary for a room over the lake. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and it was good to see them taking an interest in what guests were planning to do and help them with ideas for the day. Would we stay again? Yes.
Just a tip for those driving in Guernsey. The roads are NARROW so footpaths are often used a part of the road and is just one of those accepted and necessary things.

This is the place to stay at. The hotel is nice and good located. My room was tidy and clean. The breakfeast room has a nice view over a pond and the breakfeast it self was very good. The swimmingpole area is very nice and the area for work out is also good. The staff was very helpful and friendly when we needed help or information.

Everything okay other than the room location which is right next to a hotel generator. The noise woke me up at 7am on a bank holiday not happy. Breakfast was however very good. The golf course was closed all day Sunday.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. It is in a good location with a Waitrose across the road for any snacks, papers etc and about a 20-25 min walk into St Peters Port.
Our room was good with everything except air conditioning and a fridge. It was almost 25 degrees in our room every night so we had to sleep with the patio doors open, not ideal but necessary.
If you are irritated by noise ask for a room that doesn't overlook the car park like ours, as there is some kind of machinery which is almost constantly on.
There are some nice touches like tea making facilities with Twinnings tea bags including a teapot and shortbread fingers.
The bathroom has an over bath shower and plenty of Elemis goodies to use.
This hotel seems to do a lot of "weddings" so be aware that at the weekend the restaurant is busy especially at breakfast.
We thought that this hotel was mainly for adults but during our stay there were lots of children lacking in discipline, all from the UK I'm embarrassed to say, apparently "kids go free" in more ways than one.
Breakfast is wonderful though and every taste is catered for.
We also dined in the lounge bar and found the food simple but tasty and the staff attentive.
We used the gym and the pool where towels and robes are provided and also the tennis courts where equipment is also provided.
Car parking is free and there are lots of spaces.
I would recommend this hotel but its probably best avoided in the school holidays if you're sensitive to noise.

Stayed here with cheeky son and mummy. Loved the ducks, breakfast, crazy golf, tennis, swimming and croquet. Lots of attentive staff and room was very tidy and clean. Good location for town and easy parking on site.

We're just back from yet another wonderful stay at St. Pierre Park. The staff are outstanding, in particular, the Restaurant Manager, par excellence, Lidia. Simply nothing is too much trouble for Lidia and her team including Sandra and Linda at the Victor Hugo restaurant. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts have an exhaustive selection of food. The hotel's setting is ideal, overlooking a lake and woodland and is situated just the right distance from town being a short bus/taxi ride from the centre of St. Peter Port. It's always such a pleasure to return!

I stayed here last week for 3 nights. This is a nice hotel, think I was expecting a little grander, but it was nice. All rooms have balconies, all be it, some are tiny, I was lucky enough to have a large balcony. The rooms are of a good size, bathrooms light and bright with elemis products complimentary. Has a good gym /pool with separate sauna/steam for ladies and gents. Breakfast is very nice, with polite efficient staff. The hotel is a good 25 minute walk into st peters port, some of it up hill, but a bus journey is £2 ( only £1 if local !!)

We returned from the St Pierre Park hotel yesterday, disappointed we had to leave. It was outstanding, the staff could not do enough to help you, so polite and friendly. Our room was lovely, with everything you need, including luxury elemis beauty products. Food faultless, gym, pool, ambience, cleanliness excellent, we really enjoyed our stay and will be returning very soon. A beautiful island, very peaceful and tranquil.

We stayed here because we were with a group who were singing in a concert of Handel Coronation anthems and other works. So the hotel was booked for us by Specialised Travel. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast very good, and it has big enough grounds to take a walk around the lake where there is a duck house. The hotel is about a mile from the town, but there is a good bus service some of the time, and it is an interesting walk..
What I particularly liked was that there was a nice bar lounge where you could have a meal, there was a good selection of sandwiches , pasta, and other hot dishes , a good range of wine, spirits, soft drinks, coffee and also very nice hot chocolate. These were reasonably priced , and there were tables and sofas scattered round where you could eat. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked good , although pricey compared to the bar meals,
We had time to use the swimming pool once, and we also used the gym twice .

The St. Pierre Park Hotel is a little ways out from St. Peter Port's downtown, but it is lovely. The grounds are amazing, but the staff is even better! Everyone, from the reception desk to the servers in La Fontaine and the bar, to the porter, is exceptional. The are friendly, helpful, and service-oriented. I'm so glad we picked this hotel for our stay. It's easily gotten to by bus # 41 or 42 from anywhere on the island. Breakfast and wifi are included in the room rate. If we come back to Guernsey, we'll surely stay here.

3 day stay but same menu each day (March 2013). Not much of that left on last night so waiter dropped the extra £10 for item chosen. However this was added to bill on leaving. When questioned politely at reception, the reception manager closed her office door on us. Not a nice lady. Did not get best of rooms, despite hotel being only one third full. Would not go back.

Nice facilties and great value for money. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a holiday. The staff are really friendly and sweet nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is incredibley reasonably priced and deicious and the wine list is decent. A really relaxed atmosphere to enjoy either a holiday or a few nights away. This is a place which is luxourious but unpretentious. Enjoy.

Really pleasant place. Old-world but modernised in parts. Super buffet breakfast with all choices catered for. Staff well-dressed and comport themselves well. Pleasant and helpful without being in-your-face. Hotel grounds open & extensive. Lots of lawn and large pond with graceful fountain. Golf on site. Location on inland edge of St Peter Port so no sea views but still very restful. Room spacious, clean and well-serviced every day. Balcony with view across lawns & lake. We made a conscious decision to use the public bus service throughout our holiday (buying a weekly saver ticket from the bus driver) and, apart from the first one-day bus strike in Guernsey's history, it was a great success. We got around most of the island and did the coastal tour. A lovely place.

I have never stayed at this hotel overnight as I have family in Guernsey, however I have eaten, drunk and relaxed at this beautiful hotel many times and thoroughly enjoyed each visit.
The food in the Victor Hugo restaurant is second to none, whether dining as a large group or a smaller family. The views are fantastic and the area and atmosphere is very relaxing. There is a small park for the children and lots of open space with a duck pond and fountains, the whole hotel is situated beautifully and the staff are also very pleasant and just add to the wonderful experience enjoyed by all. There is also a spa with pool which never fails to relax and soothe you at the end of the day. Usually visit here on each visit to Guernsey and am always impressed.

Hotel is now under new ownership and it is very obvious. Stayed last year but very different hotel this year, the staff very keen to make your stay a memorable one for all the right reasons. Lake view rooms are probably quieter away from road into St Peters Port. Good size bedrooms and spotlessly clean. Food excellent, breakfast good choice of fruits, cereals and hot buffet. We were on half board and Dinner in the Victor Hugo Restaurant was excellent both in choice and quality. They are certainly going the extra mile!

Stayed there for 3 nights on a mid-week holiday break with Condor Breaks. Reserved and paid the extra for a 'garden view' room on the first floor near the lift as my wife has very limited mobility. Hotel was called and they confirmed that this was possible and assured us that the request would be honoured. On arrival we were given a room at the furthermost part of the hotel from the lift. The receptionist confirmed that our request had been duly noted (highlighted on their paperwork) but was unable to relocate us to another room - only on the following day to a room with a view of the car park and with no refund of the 'garden view' supplement, The duty manager was just as unhelpful saying that requests are never guaranteed whatever the circumstances. Fortunately I had the foresight to bring a wheelchair with us but this meant that my wife relied on me to take her down to the dining room, lounge, spa, etc. - not good for the self esteem of a disabled person.
The room and bathroom was tired and in need of maintenance. The bathroom consisted of basin, WC and bath with shower head and glass screen, which for this room, was missing the seal so every shower resulted in a very wet floor. It was just as well that the shower pressure was next to non-existent or else the water would have seeped into the bedroom. The bath was too deep for my wife to attempt, she had to use the shower in the spa. Also had missing sealant and a couple of broken tiles. I consider that the room was on the small side for a '4 star' - to be expected for I suppose for the UK.

The view of the garden was only possible by walking across a gravelled patio area, impossible to achieve with a wheelchair. There were planters with flowers along the wall at the end of the patio area however there were weeds growing in the gutters above the room - again, just poor maintenance or a lack or maintenance staff. Have uploaded photos.

On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was excellent in terms of quality and variety. The dining staff were also excellent, very attentive and helpful. We dined once in the main restaurant and experienced a long wait for a slightly above average meal, received an apology for the wait and a small discount on the bill - which was unexpected as we had not complained, fair play to the Maitre'd for that. Had a meal in the lounge bar - very good pub food, reasonably priced for a hotel.

Spa was good and mostly unused during our stay. The golf course was OK for a 9 hole par 3 course. 2 or 3 holes were interesting but the rest I considered were nothing special and relatively easy for a high handicapper like myself - didn't bother to play it a second time..

Whilst we were there the hotel acquired new owners so hopefully improvements will be made.
