Stayed here with Spennymoor Town FC as we played Guernsey and it proved a real gem. Hotel is very clean and professional, Breakfasts great and so are all of the leisure facilities. Located in a quiet spot out of St Peter Port and it ticked all of the boxes we were looking for. Would definately return to this hotel for a holiday.

We where pleasantly surprised running a hotel ourselves we would rate this as a 5 star it is immaculate throughout with pleasant staff the breakfast is the best we have had and we travel s lot the rooms are spacious and fresh bedding and towels daily they have beautiful outdoor areas to relax and lovely walk around their lake the food in the terrace bar was reasonable and some of the best on the island we could not fault anything other than the brown bread on my crab sandwich was stale but the crab was outstanding we would highly recommend this hotel my family are going to visit it truly is beautiful if you read anything less ignore it as ism extremely fussy. Well done all the staff.

Myself, Mum and sister visited the spa on Saturday 2nd March, we visit about 3-4 times a year over the last 5 years. Receptionist were friendly as always. Changing room was fine but needs updating as the wood around the door in the toilet was rotting away. Swimming pool was great, a little cold but that was due to the door being open which we didnt notice until we got out. the jacuzzi was foamy but it always is, but still very relaxing. We always have a relaxing time, but this time during my massage there was a lot of constant noise from outside the room-opposite a storage room. the staff are always generally helpful which is why we come back (and the fact its pretty much the only place we can do so on the island) but it does need a bit of a touch up- the showers/sauna area is much better now. Maybe add slippers to top off the experience.

Loved this hotel from the first sight of it to the room very nice and quite good value for the cost of our 3 night stay, we paid for two nights and the third night was free! The hotel overall was spotless like the rooms and as for the beds, well they were very comfortable, the best I'd say I've slept in. The first night we stayed their were 7 of us that ate in the main restaurant. The food was good a bit pricey and quite small portions. The breakfast was very good, a buffet style and lots of it to choose from. I cannot say anything bad really about the hotel, except the staff, they need lessons on how to smile, very miserable. The barman in the main bar from Liverpool was the only one that I'd say had a laugh with us. Oh and the bar meals are very good too.

I've noted a couple of reviews concerning the unusual layout of the spa area - especially the location of changing rooms at this hotel. The reason the locker rooms are away from the pool/wet area is that they are also used by people using the Beauty Salon who need to change for treatments such as massage or sun showers. These people & I include myself here do not want to tread through wet floors. Thus the shower area (15-30 seconds walk from the locker room) is used to dry off & don a robe for the return to the locker & your belongings.
This spa is however not without fault & there are many. In recent months I have arrived to find the girls on reception sprawled on the floor painting their toe/finger nails, I have also seen them having mint throwing fights, chatting away in the back room on their mobiles & ignoring clients who are left to help themselves to towel/robes & find their own way around the facility. Cleanliness is a big issue here, or rather the lack of it. The pool frequently has a thick black scum line around it - the last time I complained about it I was told that the cleaner was on holiday!! The sauna, steam & shower areas are only ever cleaned with water, NEVER are these areas disinfected, I dread to think what lies within the 1000's of cracks that pervade the gents steam room ( I can't speak about the ladies area) -these cracks have been present for the last 15 or so years & must contain a veritable farmyard od bacteria. The jacuzzi is often under temperature & the tiles & filter in this are also frequently filthy, the tiles are seldom scrubbed as the black mould on the grout shows.

Toilets in the male area are difficult & sometimes impossible to flush, due to slow filling tanks & often when using them one is presented with the previous users deposit.

The facility lacks a Manager & has done for six months or so now. I believe a beautician is overseeing the running of the facility, but she obviously has no training in the running of a Health Suite.

It's interesting to note that St. Pierre Park NEVER respond to any comments on this site. This to me shows how interested they are in the opinion of their customers/guests. The management here are lazy & have been in their jobs too long, new blood is needed to buck up the staff & introduce new ideas into a now very stale establishment.

Very sad.

Great Hotel, stayed for 3 nights from 1/03 to 05/03. My room was very nice with a view over the rear of the hotel. Used the swimming pool on a couple of occasions and was very imprested with the facilities.

Dined in the first night in the main restaurant and this is the only area we (six of stayed) found was a little lacking. The starters and desserts were fine but the Crab and Prawn Spaghetti my wife and I had was not so good as was the Chicken Spaghetti friend had. The girl who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant and took the orders could be a bit more friendly.

All other staff were great and we had no complaints and this very true of the Bar Staff. Also the bar food was fine and can be highly recommended. (Try the Swiss Cheese and Mushroom Burger – very nice)

Breakfast was very good with a good variety of choice.
Don’t be put of by a couple of negative observations, this hotel is very good and if I come back to the island, this is where I will stay

This wasn't my first choice of hotel for a business visit to Guernsey but Moore's was sold out along with most of the other hotels allowed on my corporate booking system.

Check in was ok but not the most pleasant receptionist with minimal smiling, eye contact and conversation. I do remember her name but I won't repeat it here.

The first room I was assigned was room 415. This is a nice large room but has one major draw back - it has a large extractor fan in the ceiling about 1m x 1m this makes a lot of noise. There is no way I could have got to sleep in this room unless I had been sedated. I immediately returned to reception and rejected the room. My somewhat sullen receptionist told me they were full but she would see what they could do. A couple of minutes later she returned with a key to 163 this is a twin room and my original was a double.

The room itself was acceptable although none of the furniture matched and the wardrobe was a bit rickety. The bathroom was fine and had a good selection of toiletries.

The hotel has a generic set of features to most rooms in that they have a balcony or patio door. This can be a double edged sword. On the one hand in the summer it is nice if you want to sit outside or if you are a smoker you can smoke outside your room. On the other if people are talking outside when you are trying to sleep you will get disturbed as I found out at 2AM when someone two rooms away was outside talking at the top of his voice on a mobile phone. As it disturbed me it probably disturbed anyone in 155 to 165 and in 255 to 265 as well. I appreciate this isn't actually the hotels fault but be warned this can happen.

Whilst I'm on the subject of being disturbed there is a an aircon unit which kicks in at about 0630 and is in a basement area outside room 155. If you are in this area it will disturb you at this time although it did turn off by about 0700 but long enough to ensure that you will be awake at this time.

I ate in the bar which was pleasant enough with reasonably priced food and attentive staff. There are two large screen TVs if watching sport is your thing. If you want a bit of quiet then don't sit near the bar as the floor there is very loud whenever someone walks on it. Watch out for the price of a pint of Peroni at £5.35 a pint it is seriously overpriced.

The spa area is, er, different. When you walk to the spa reception you will be given a robe and towel then you have to go down a corridor to the changing room. To get to the pool you have to go back past reception and into another area before getting to the pool. Here you can leave your robe and towel before going through to the pool. The pool is pleasant enough being nice and warm along with being very clean.

Going back to the male second stage changing area are the sauna and steam rooms these were both very clean and well lit and at a good temperature. Because this is a male only area (I guess the ladies have their own version) the sauna and steam rooms are nude (or at everyone was when I was there). When finished have shower with the good quality toiletries and take the long walk back to the changing room. Tip, take some flip flops to wear.

Breakfast was excellent and service started at 0700. High quality ingredients and plenty of fresh fruit along with warm pastries. This was the best part of the stay as far as I was concerned..

Checkout. My sullen receptionist was back for checkout. No smiles, conversation or eye contact or even asking me how my stay had been.

Overall if you are used to Marriott standard this is a little step below that but it is above a Holiday Inn / Hilton standard.

I wouldn't choose to spend my own money here but on business it's ok.

Stayed here for two nights and found the staff excellent, the room spacious, comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfasts delicious (I'm a greedy person who appreciates a proper breakfast when I'm away on business as it makes a change from the prunes & all-bran diet at home). I really liked the Nespresso coffee machine in the room - nice touch.

The hotel is about a mile and a half from the centre of St Peter Port which means you'll need a hire car/taxi/bus to get in and out of town unless, like me, you enjoy walking. In fact, I think the Guernsey is best done on foot which is why I did the hour and a half walk from the hotel to the airport this morning.

We stayed at this hotel with my partner during our trip to Guernsey for a very special ocassion. And the hotel did not let us down in any possible way. We arrived to Guernsey in the morning and our room was prepared for us within an hour after our arrival but well before the regular check-in time (which we thought was nice of the hotel staff). Our room was well maintained and clean, and the bathroom was expecially nice with a big bath good for two. The pool and sauna at the spa zone were enjoyable and clean too...with only a few people using them. Meals at the hotel were delicious and we trully enjoyed our breakfasts and ocassional dinners at the hotel restaurant. The only inconvenience was that we did not rent a car and it took us about 30 minutes to walk from the hotel to the town centre/piere but it was a enjoyable walk anyways. Would we stay there again - yes.

My finance and I had a 3 night stay at the hotel to celebrate a special birthday.
Our hotel room was clean and comfortable but cold as was the case with most of the rooms in the Hotel. We enjoyed lovely food in the restaurant and the head waiter Kumar couldn't do enough for us, even bringing a heater in and plugging it next to our table. He is a real asset to the hotel.
The Spa was a real disapointment . it is badly laid out so guests have to traipse to and from through the reception area to go between the pool and the dry changing rooms and relaxation room. There are separate saunas and steam rooms in the male/female wet changing rooms which is a shame as you are unable to spend the time with respective partners. Both the sauna and steam rooms were in need of refurbishmnent and the sauna had rotten wood and tiles comming off on the floor. The changing area was tatty and not very clean either.

I chose this hotel as there was a good price offered when I visited earlier this month. I had been warned that this hotel was run-down and had slipped badly from its former greatness. Ergo, I was really pleased to find the room in good condition and a decent size. Great facilities in the hotel, an excellent breakfast and restaurant.
Good location, easy parking. Will use this hotel again.
Gripes: no minibar, no water bottles in room.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly and well trained staff, excellent food. We can highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet gave plenty of choice, supper was delicious. Too bad we only stayed for two nights, but we decided to come back in summer so we can enjoy the park and the beach.

We stayed at St Pierre Park Hotel on a package deal from Travelsmith which included flights, accommodation and car hire, the latter to be recommended for full enjoyment of Guernsey unless you are very keen walkers! We had a very good room with views over the lake and blissfully comfortable bed. Breakfast was as good as we have ever had, and the dinner we had on our first night was very good. The swimming pool was very quiet and so tempting I had to get a swim suit to enjoy it. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a quiet break, with a charm and character lacking in most modern hotels. The ground floor rooms are currently being refurbished.

An aging hotel that would do well with a make-over. It's in walking distance to the city, but mind traffic on the pitch black nights – the roads are narrow and lights are non-existent. Staff of the hotel are friendly and it's situated close to a Waitrose market. A tip: Be mindful of the room you get. There's a huge difference between the more recently renovated rooms and the older ones. I know I've had two very different experiences.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas. The hotel is very nice with lovely gardens. Some disappointment with rooms re mattress not too comfy and iron burn mark (large and obvious) on carpet which prevented me from rating hotel as excellent. Meals were exceptional - very high standard menu offering multiple choices for all courses.
Staff were very attentive and helpful with any request made met effectively and efficiently. Staff and depute manager, Carlos were particularly helpful with a problem I had regarding a purchase I made in a department store. Late Christmas eve I noticed store assistant had omitted to take security tag off garment. I was due to return to Scotland before they reopened after Christmas break. Carlos offered to have one of his staff take garment back to store after Christmas and post it back to me.
Would definitely recommend hotel .

Very nice hotel, pleasant staff, quiet and comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Not within walking distance of any restaurants for dinner, but the hotel has a dining room (satisfactory food), and downtown is only a short taxi ride away. Would happily stay here again.

I stay here on business and the staff are fantastic, welcoming, helpful and efficient. The bar has a nice relaxed atmosphere and breakfast is really good. Meals cover all tastes and the chilli is really good. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfy and the showers are nice and hot. Never had a bad stay and look forward to my next visit.

We stayed at St Pierre Park hotel on a Travelzoo deal including car hire for 3nights......the hotel is lovely, well positioned for base to visit all tourist attractions on Guernsey (not being a large island) also catching the bus in to town. A Waitrose is opposite but we didn't spot it straight away. We had a garden ground floor room with connecting twin for our daughter, who loved having her own appartment with couch & TV! Everyone there helpful especially as we had to rearrange our Condor crossing before we got there! Will be back, but flying next time! :-)

First time here and can easily recommend. Our stay was faultless, lovely room with a balcony and pleasant views of the lake. Good breakfasts served with a smile. One evening we came back late and ate in the bar, the food was boiling hot and arrived quickly. Staff are good and always spoke to us as we passed the reception. Great choice of ways to relax we used the pool and twice had it to ourselves. Top resort would stay here again without delay.

We arrived on a Saturday and stayed for around 24 hours with 2 young children. Everything was how we expect for a 4 star resort hotel. Check-in was swift and our room was ready a good couple of hours before advertised, our family room was comfortable and well supplied with a choice of teas and coffees, complimentary toiletries and 2 full size single beds and a king size double. We needed to call down to reception to borrow an iron which was efficiently and courteously delivered. The view from our room was nothing amazing but we knew a number of other people staying in the hotel that weekend who had some beautiful views. We weren't staying long enough to mind and perhaps we were a little limited by needing a family room but I'm sure the majority of rooms do afford a scenic view given that the hotel is set in beautiful grounds,
We made good use of the pool facilities and found them to be clean and well maintained with decent showers. My only gripe would be that the toiletries in the women's showers were a bit hit and miss - shampoo in some cubicles and shower gel in others, no conditioner in any!
We spent some time relaxing in the bar area too (where the wi-fi reception was more reliable than our room) and all in all we found the hotel to be a comfortable, relaxing place to be. I was very impressed by the standard of service and the quality of the food at the breakfast - you'd be hard pressed not to find something to everybody's taste and it was great to have local produce available also.
All in all a much enjoyed stay that met all my expectations and is, in my opinion, a hotel that deserves its status as a 4 star resort hotel.

Stayed here for two nights over the weekend. The hotel room was clean but a little dated but the public areas were good and the breakfasts were excellent. We found the hotel bar prices very expensive, but all staff were good and helpful.
There were two issues. First is with the noise from the functions, that although we were warned by a letter in our room when we arrived, it is too late then. The hotel does state on their website to "Come and enjoy the peace and luxury of The St Pierre Park Hotel"!! but they are set up to have at least three functions a night!
The other issue is that the hotel is located a long walk from the main town.
For these reasons although I would visit Guernsey again I would probably stay in a different hotel.

We flew from Southampton to Guernsey for a 4 night break at the St Pierre on 20th October. Our room was on the top floor with a small balcony overlooking the lake - quiet, clean and well furnished with comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was good and food served in the bar/restaurant excellent. There is also an A la carte restaurant and a independently run cafe. Car parking space is plentiful and just opposite the entrance is a Waitrose store with an in-store cafe, and a pharmacy. Sports facilities are comprehensive with a gym, golf course and tennis courts.

The hotel is well situated for travel round the island but also within reasonable walking distance, or short taxi ride, to St Peter Port shops and centre.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again to a well run hotel, in lovely grounds with good service and excellent facilities.

Staff all very helpful. Rooms spotless and comfortable with tv, dvd player, coffee machine. Nice view and balcony. Breakfast - spoilt for choice. Also cleaners don't start hoovering too early, which is brilliant if you want a lay in.

I have stayed at this hotel about 6 times over the last 3 years 2 of them times being in 2012. The rooms are very clean and always lovely!!. The only thing I can really find a fault with is some of the chairs/sofas in the bar are a bit worn and could do with being changed.
