This park is relatively big and bursting with large variety of animals! We couldn't fit everything in within the day although we did turn up at 12:30.

The animals looked as if they were well looked after. The big cats were a great hit with our three year old! The most memorable moment was when the lion aimed his behind at visitors and sprayed / fired his wee on them! Payback for enclosure? Much hilarity and screeches from the visitors.

There is lots for children to do including face painting, slides, bounces castles, Krazy golf etc etc. Just have a look at the map which is available online.

When we visited, it was the Saturday of the Easter break and the park was busy.

We read from previous reviews that the food might not be great, so we pre-packed snacks. It was great that we were always never too far from a picnic bench so we could sit and have a feed.

When you go, try to park within the attraction and not in the overspill across the road otherwise you risk crossing a Country road with little ones.

This attraction is on our doorstep and we didn't venture here until this attraction was brought to our attention via amazon which had an offer on the tickets. When we saw the half price sale, we quickly bought enough for 2 day trips as the expiry date was for more than a year. Had we not come across the tickets, I'm unsure whether we would have gone, as tickets on the door can add up if you're a family. For the price we paid, we think it was extremely good value for money. If we had the full cost to pay, then we might have spent it at a more famous attraction further away. But then, that might just be "not a tourist in your own neighbour" mentality.

Great family day out!!!

Me and my friends went at the perfect time during the Easter holidays. All animals were there and we managed to spend the whole day there. Lovely zoo and lots of experiences available to do for example we fed some farm animals, which only cost us a pound to do! Definitely recommend to families as its a great place to make memories.

Just got back from a day at the park and I must say we all enjoyed it very much.

Would return but have to say I would not pay the full gate price as just to get in today it would have cost around £80 for 4 of us but luckily we had Tesco tokens which reduced the price to £20.

Just spent a day here with our 3 and 8 year olds. Great because of the proximity to the animals and if your child is a fan of the big cars like ours is, then it's fantastic! However, park is not big and animals are kept in small enclosures. Pack your lunch as the food at the park is awful!

We have been here a few times over the years and every time I have been there they have built or started something new, the Animals are well looked after, and they do a lot for the breading programs.
There is a mixture of things for all ages to do, with a café and places to get ice creams and drinks,
you can buy rabbit food to feed some of the animals, in the summer there is a paddling pool were you can take a picnic and also a indoor play centre, you can have a fun full day here.

Travelled 480 miles to visit Paradise Wildlife Park yesterday and had a fantastic day. The park is quite compact but has a lot of animals and attractions. Easily took all day to see and do everything available. For an extra charge you can even hand feed one of their big cats. I fed raw meat to a Tiger and it was an awesome experience - one I'll never forget. (Experience needs to be booked in advance).. Where else can you get to do that??
Staff/Keepers were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Keeper talks throughout the day were very interesting but the thing that really struck me was how close you could get to the animals. There were even some that you could touch or feed with food bought from the park priced at only £1 per bag. There were also bird shows and children's shows going on throughout the day and children's entertainment on a large stage too. Large play areas with swings, bouncy castles, a paddling pool and a train ride through the woods will keep even the youngest of visitors amused. There's also an indoor soft play area and a speedway museum if the animals are not enough...
In summary, Paradise Wildlife Park IS ACTUALLY PARADISE in my humble opinion. Visit with confidence - you'll be glad that you did.

Been here twice now. It is fabulous. Not very big but enough to keep you entertained for 3/4 hours. You get very close to the animals and there are lots of shows and interactive activities. Food is a bit pricy so bring a picnic as there are lots of areas to eat. I would highly recommend this place.

I bought a meet the meerkat experience for two for my partner and I. We had to be there for 3.15 but we got there at 12.30 to make the most of the free admission to the park that was included in our deal.

The park isn't that big but I am comparing it to Cotswold Wildlife park which is bigger. There are two side to the park with one side being more of an adventure play park for children. The other side has a wide range of exotic animals that are entertaining and beautiful. You are provided with a map and although it's not entirely accurate there are pointer signs around the park.

There are a few take way stands and a big diner. I chose to go in the tree top cafe which is like a tree house for sandwich, cake and coffee and there is a huge window looking into tiger enclosure. Expensive for food as you would expect but freshly made. You will need to pay by cash though. But there is a cash point in the diner.

The meerkat experience was brilliant. We met a family in a private enclosure with just us and the zoo keeper and we sat down on logs feeding them. When the food was gone they then climbed up on us and were squeaking in our ears. They loved my gilet and burrowed into and went to sleep.

Amy the keeper answered all our questions and was enthusiastic although she probably does this everyday. She kindly used my phone to take a lot of pictures.

Car parking is very good.

I visited the park with my niece and two nephews, aged 3,12,13years, they all had a great day with lots to keep them amused, after seeing all the animals, their favourites being the emu's. And seeing the snow leopards being hand fed,We went over to the play park, it made a change not to be ripped off with extra charges to use bouncy castles and adventure park, we paid £1 to travel on the train ride which we found very reasonable, then even better the children found tumble jungle and that was all part of the admission price, here is where I enjoyed a rest with a cup of coffee while they enjoyed more play, all in all a great day out, will defiantly returning

I booked the wolf experience for my husbands birthday and was lucky enough to be able to join him. You arrive before the park opens and are welcomed with coffee and biscuits. You then meet the keepers who talk you through the experience before taking you into the enclosure with the 3 younger wolves. They come up to you and sniff your clothes and play - amazing experience. after about 40 mins we came out and then fed them with their breakfast. Their keepers are really experienced and know so much about the animals.
the park is lovely with lots of animals to see and you get up close with them. The enclosures have lots of glass viewing areas and places to climb to get a really good view of the animals. all the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. A great day out - lots for younger children to see and do as well.

We decided to splash out for our daughters 9th birthday party and took her, her sister and 4 friends to the zoo and decided to stay overnight as well. We arrived a little after lunch. The park was very quiet as most schools were still in operation. We were welcomed at the Discovery Centre and given our VIP bracelets. The zebra suite had two bedrooms and two sofa beds so perfect for us. We then went and explored. The safari themed crazy golf was one of the best we have done. The kids played on some equipment, went on the mini train, fed some animals and as it got cold went in the indoor play area. The staff were really friendly. As part of the package you get free animal feed, golf, train rides, breakfast in the treetops, juice and biscuits and a session with an animal keeper the next day. In the evening there were no cars in the park. there is no one there at night which is a bit strange and there is a microwave but we ordered a great indian from mangoes nearby. the park provide details.
The next day we went and had breakfast in the treetops cafe which is a wooden lodge high up overlooking the tigers. You could see them up close which was great. our keeper then met us and the kids got to hold a dragon lizard, a snake and finally feed lorakeets with nectar. a couple of the kids didn't want birds on their heads so they stayed back. we found out some interesting facts about the animals as well.
Everything in the park is compact so you can see everything in a few hours and the kids went round again. All the staff were friendly and we had a great time. thanks everyone my daughter said it was the best birthday party ever !

I visited on a Monday using a Groupon voucher (£8 - very good value). I definitely would recommend going on a weekday as it's quieter, though still fairly busy. Don't be put off by the first bit after the entrance, which seems a little like a run-down kid's adventure playground (though there is work going on at the moment) - once you get into the Animal Park itself, it's a lovely, small-ish wildlife park, though there is still plenty to see. The jewel in their crown is definitely their collection of big cats. Their White Tiger, Baikal, is gorgeous (and knows it!). The Sumatran Tigers can be viewed really close up through glass and from the cafe by the enclosures. The White Lions can also be viewed really well from the walkways. I also loved the Asian Short-Clawed Otters and the Red Pandas (so cute!). They have a Red Panda family at the moment - mum, dad and two cubs, but as they are normally solitary, they will be split up later in the year, so make sure you visit in the next few months if you want to see them as a family.

I would definitely like to return, and see the bits that I missed this time, such as the Wolves. The map they give you isn't that accurate, and just gives you a rough guide to where the animals are. All in all, I spent a very pleasant few hours here, once I got my bearings. The staff were friendly, and knew their stuff.

We visited here on 1st April on a special offer - there are usually lots of offers around so search before you as it can be quite expensive. It's a fantastic day out for all ages - including adults! There were 6 adults, 1 3 year old, 1 2 year old and a 1 year old. We all enjoyed it, so much to do here from the animals, racing cars, to indoor soft play to the outdoor paddling pool. My only 1 big gripe is they now have a stage where the animation team perform. This does turn it into a holiday camp & to be honest the park really don't need it. There's so much to keep the children amused they just don't need it and makes me cringe. The gates to get out are abit odd too.

We had our wedding reception here nearly 5 years ago in a fab marquee so it caters for parties too. Take a picnic to save money & there's lots of benches/grass to sit on.

The park is situated a short distance from junction 25 on the M25. I was able to park in the main car park and quickly paid my entrance and was straight into the park. I spent some time with my 3 year old and 1 year old on the free play equipment, there is a large variety to suit all age groups. We took a ride on the train as well. (you pay £1 for this although I would like to see this included in the entrance fee ideally) We then went on to walk around the Zoo. There is a large selection of animals and the kids were not disappointed, they have new treetop walk ways suitable for prams that added to the experience. You can take your own food or buy on site. We took a picnic and i brought the kids a toy in the shop (quite reasonably priced). We watched the bird show, I would like to see more birds and less talking, never the less the kids sat and watched. All in all a good family day out, you could stay there all day. In bad weather they have an indoor soft play area and appear to be adding more outside play attractions that will be completed by the summer.

The park is well sign posted. When you nearer to the park (after leaving A10) just follow the brown signs because sat nav may send you via convoluted routes.

The park can be very crowded during sunny days and school holidays. So, plan to arrive very early so that you spend less time in standing in queue. I visited on a Mothers’ Day when mothers were free! Otherwise, this park is quite expensive to visit with entire family!
The park has 2 main areas – animal park and children’s entertainment park. Toddlers will probably enjoy both parts. So plan your timings accordingly. If traveling with a toddler, at least 3 hours is recommended.

You will have plenty of photo opportunities. But it may depend on your luck. Sometimes animals face away from you which won’t lead to a nice photo. If you have DSLR, definitely carry it preferably with telephoto lens (18-200 mm recommended on crop sensor DSLRs). Camera phones won’t do justice in a wildlife park!

Bring your own food if you have the option.

Toilets could have been cleaner. Signs are not good inside the park.

Recommended but look out for offers so that you don't have to pay full price.

We had a wonderful time in this park. With lions, white tigers, and cheetahs. We even watched the cheetahs being fed. I recommend you visit their web site to check the shows times in order to plan your visit. The food there is very basic like most of the parks. The only problem we encountered was finding our way inside the park as it lacks signs and directions, we spent almost 15 minutes looking for the exit. The map they provided us with was not clear. Other than this it was a beautiful park to spend the day in with the kids.

We got a great deal on a family pass through groupon and having been to a few similar places I thought it would be pretty similar here. However it is way more than just a wildlife park. There is such a huge variety of animals to see and interesting facts about all of them to read.

The catering facilities are excellent although a little expensive. Good quality food though.

The play area is huge and brilliant for the kids.

Would highly recommend.

Passed a good couple of hours here, 3 adults! The park is not too far from where our daughter lives and she fancied giving it a look. Its not cheap but has three pricing levels, so now is cheaper time to go. That is obviously because they use the low season to carry out maintenance or make new attractions. There was some inconvenience because of this but not too much.
The park in the main is very child orientated and I can quite see how you would and could spend a whole day here with a young family. There is a lot to do apart from seeing the animals for the children. That said, we were there for the animals and that we did very well. All enclosures are easily accessible for good viewing and photography. Some enclosure a little on the small side, so just hope they are not loosing sight of the fact they are a wildlife park in favour of more play sites.
Best to visit before or during feeding times as big cats a bit dopey after eating.
Café quite basic and food served in cardboard containers with plastic cutlery.
Very pleasant to walk around but may not be so in school holidays, pick you time well.

This is a great park with very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. We had the great privilege a seeing the largest cat being fed close up and it was amazing. We were here for a private function and had some time to see the rest of the animals in the park, but not enough time to see everything. From what I did see I would definitely recommend it for a day out - especially with children who I think will have a fantastic time.

Anyone keen on viewing/photographing the big cats will almost certainly enjoy Paradise Wildlife Park. There are many varied species on display and the elevated walkways mean you get an unimpeded view - which is rare. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The Park is small which means that all the animals are very accessible, but conservationists may be concerned by the small size of some of the enclosures.
I spent half a day on a Friday and for £8 (Groupon deal) thought the Park represented very good value for money - even though some of its features are rather 'tacky'. Children will have a blast, but I wouldn't dream of visiting on a weekend or school holiday - this would be far from Paradise!...

Am a fairly regular visitor to this park with my 5 year-old and we love it. Each time we're there from opening until closing time and never run out of things to see or do. Visited mostly recently on a beautiful sunny day with my daughter and her best friend and the girls were sad to leave and begged to return again soon. A great mixture of animals (with interesting talks / demonstrations), soft play, picnicking and running about in the playground. Lovely to be able to see the animals up close and staff have always been helpful when my daughter has asked questions about their care / diet / natural habitat etc. Lots of fantastic photos opportunities and each time we visit we try to listen in to a different talk or demonstration so my daughter has learnt a fair bit about care and conservation. I note a few harsh reviews about how busy its been on unusually sunny days but surely crowds are to be expected? I wouldn't head to a theme park / zoo / outdoor entertainment on a rare sunny day as high footfall is likely and queueing of some description is inevitable. I don't think its fair to criticse a venue for closing when its full to capacity as the alternative would be a very unsafe day out where everyone's experience is ruined due to there being no space to move or see / do what you've paid for. It does sound as if parking has been a problem but surely no venue has an infinite number of spaces? Better communication is a must where cars are queued down the road (I appreciate that this is dependent on staff numbers) and I understand that some people have had a frustrating wait but there's always a risk when wanting to spend a day outside in unseasonably warm weather - everyone else has had the same idea! I hope people aren't put off by the bad reviews as it really is a nice day out, particularly for familes with younger children. I see smiling faces in abundance every time I visit.

The kids (3.5yrs and 1yr) thoroughly enjoyed this attraction. March is 'low season' so slightly reduced prices but worth the cost. Under 2's are free. Good variety of animal attractions and a great playground area to expend their remaining energy. Animal feed was £1 a bag and added to the experience. Most food stalls were not open as it was off peak. In the main restaurant we did get cod and chips for £9.40 (in line with expected costs at attractions) and the kids meal deal was a reasonable £5. Both portions were good sizes.
Overall a great afternoon out.

I visited following my stay at the Marriott, I had a marriott voucher and therefore was booked in to have a tour and witness and health check with a tiger - great value. On arrival at the park we were told we were at the wrong place and we need to go to the normal entrance, but there was no one there. I had to then stop another zoo keeper who was heading across the carpark, who kindly offered her help and got us in to the park in time for our tour, which was booked to start before opening time so that we get better view fo the animals. So if it wasn't for a random member of staff that we had to approach, we would have been left outside by ourselves. Not happy. Once we were in and the tour guide came, we were very lucky to be the only one's on the tour! The health check with the beautiful white tiger was absoloutely amazing.. never have I been so close to a white tiger! The other wild cats were also amazing and one thing I did like, was since it was not a huge Zoo and with massive enclosures, you could see the animals quite close. Not my favourite zoo, without the tour and health check I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much, but that made my day and I will treasure the experience. :)
