Friendly, local pub on the edge of the town centre. Perfect place to chill out after work or to meet up with friends. Serve excellent range of wines and beers, with real ale lovers well looked after as well.

Many thanks for organising a fantastic August bank holiday event. The Swanvesta Social Club Band were fantastic and created a great atmosphere. It was good to see everyone enjoying themselves so much. The BBQ was brilliant and the good quality food is much appreciated.

I love this pub -its my favorite. I love the bacon sarnies aswell but you need to be quick.
They put some amazing events on and i just love bank holidays here - with a mini festival and barbeques. A very friendly pub where your guaranteed that you will make friends and warm friendly staff.
Since moving from a village (codicote) i found this pub to remind me of that nice country village feel and just want to keep going back as i do. Hats off to them.x x x

Last week I went to an event that had been catered for by The Victoria Pub.
I don't eat meat and have allergies to spices so find it very hard to eat at these kind of events, but not so in this case. At the end of the event I realised the buffet presented had a great variety of food, all very tasty and mouth watering. I was full and had been able to eat almost all that was offered and most importantly it contained nothing that I was allergic to. How refreshing and incredibly rare! Usually at these events I end up picking at the food and leaving a lot of it as its not suitable for my stomach. Thank you Victoria!

The Victoria is the best public house in the country because the atmosphere is fantastic food + drink is the best quality and the team are bang on! I don’t enjoy going anywhere else!
