The Victoria is the best pub in Hitchin! It has a real village feel although it is located conveniently on the edge of town. The landlady, Victoria, offers so much more than an ordinary public house. We pop in for supper club; on a Monday, enjoy the best Sunday lunch in the area, see live bands and comedy and even attend the monthly book club. Vcitoria and her team go out of there way to make you feel welcome.

The Victoria is such a lovely local community pub and I feel really comfortable whenever I visit. I have enjoyed a fantastic family home-cooked Sunday lunch, several evenings and a great comedy night. Victoria is very conscious of supporting the local community and offers something for everyone. I would highly recommend a visit!

This pub has been beautifully refurbished by landlady Victoria. She has lots of fresh ideas and really wants to promote and work with the local community. Hospitality is brilliant and her chilli is delicious! You really must go into this pub and try out the menu which is all locally sourced and freshly cooked. Louise Yexley, thebestof hitchin
