I last visited the cathedral in 1983. It is stunning inside and out. See evidence below. So much to see in this magnificent building as well as the moon exhibition too. The depth of history abounds, the architecture is amazing. Such a delight.

I've lived in Lichfield for 30 years and I never tire of visiting the Lady of the Vales, and The Close. You always feel welcome & the calm serenity is life affirming; it's the hub of our city, past, present and future.

Had a great time at the light and sound exhibition on Space and the Apollo Missions to the Moon on Sunday 25th August. Took our elderly in-laws and they had a great time. So well organised. We were booked on the 8.15pm entry and we went in on the dot. Will definitely go to another such event.

Really worth a visit. I’ve never seen a building with this much detail on the front. Inside there’s lots to explore.

We visited at the time of a food festival in Lichfield on a very sunny day so the place was buzzing. What a pleasure it was o step into the calmness of the Cathedral - although I have visited several times there is always something of interest new to spot - at the moment the Cathedral is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and there are lots of activities linked to that which will bring people of all ages to this wonderful building.

One of England's great cathedrals. Reddish stone beautifully carved and designed. Atmosphere slightly spoiled by preparation for an event inside.

Beautiful Cathedral! The detail is outstanding and loved the History of this! A Volunteer went round with us and showed us detail we hadn’t even seen! Highly recommends visiting, its a must if your in the area! The City is beautiful too as there is a beautiful Church which is now a Library! It’s breathtaking!

It is hard to get parked around here. The outside needs cleaning but the inside is beautiful with the odd quirk.

The guides are very good and they can explain all the quirks of the Cathederal.

Visited the cathedral after dark for their 'Space' event. This was to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the moon landing. An unusual event in such a religious setting! However, the 'son et lumiere' show was quute breathtaking. It highlighted the architecture and used the space creatively.

I returned a couple of days later for a 'normal' tour.
